I thought it might be something to do with the blood type. One of the girls in my antenatal class last time was rhesus negative and I remember that it raised additional concerns. I don't think she ever mentioned having to have injections though. A little extra niggle of pg for you!

Glimmer · 18/05/2007 16:04

Fingernails -- yeah, yeah!!!!

Mumpbump -- yes, it's nice that things finally fall into place. (Sorry for mix-up). You were really kind to me when I had one of my rollercoasters on a mc thread 3 weeks ago. Thank you!

Oh Beckle I know exactly what you are going through. The only good thing is that once your are past 12 weeks things will be a little better. Keep symptom spotting I think in your state that is very good.

KB75 -- thinking of you.

to everybody

Glimmer · 18/05/2007 16:05

Mumpbump -- thanks for teaching me how to set links! I went to all kinds of links but it didn't occur to me to look at the bottom of the page...

MrsMcJnr · 18/05/2007 16:48

Hey Mumpbump, hope you feel much better soon I imagine that pg with a toddler is exhausting! Thanks for your advice for me

Hello Glimmer hope the booking in goes well next week. Where?s your DH hon? House sounds exciting Thanks for your tip on the scans, I know you are right, if I was having the scan just for the sake of reassurance, I would wait but I have to get these meds started

Hey Ejt ? you go girl, make sure you get what you want

Daisy ? glad the pram arrived (and more importantly the big bag ) Great that you felt more positive after speaking to the mh nurse.

Fingernails excellent news! Really pleased for you.

KB75 all sounding good with you. I?m very tired but not really any sickness.

Great news for Cupcake

DaisysGotABigBump · 18/05/2007 20:18

Cupcake...brilliant news...
Fingernails....you can stop biting yours now!!
Just a quick one, I've been off meeting one of the other ladies from ny ante-natal thread today and we had a lovely time...a nice lunch then a stroll around the shops. It's really made my day and cheered me up no end.

The pram I got is this one . Sort of looks like a bugaboo, but half the price and a bit chunkier looking. It seems very easy to push and is a nice bright unisex colour......Now all I need is the bub to put in it!

Have a great weekend and I'll catch you all next weeks.

Any news from Lorla????had a quick scan but didn't see anything!

Woooozle100 · 19/05/2007 08:58

Hello ladies

Ooh got a bit of catching up to do - have just back off holiday. Been to Haven holiday camp humming 'Everybody Say Hello' whilst doing semi circle waving of hands Weather not great and caravan was v cold but had a grand time nontheless - just nice to get away.

Hope everyone is fine and dandy

fettleandminifettle · 19/05/2007 20:01

Hi all

Hope all well - cupcake - great news!!!

Daisy - counting down fast now!! pram looks good - still trying to keep my stance that we don't need a new one, but DH thinks that we do!! I'd rather spend money on new clothes for a boy, so he doesn't have to wear DD's pretty pink clothes!!!

Glimmer - great news on the house!!

Hope everyone else is doing well - need to go check on supper!

take care

hi ladies

i hope you dont mind me crashing this thread, i got my bfp yesterday after 11 months of trying after my m/c. i had a missed m/c in june 2006 went for scan at 12 weeks for bleeding and baby had died at 8.

i thought this would be a great thread to join as although today i have the attitude "what will be will be" i know that is going to drastically fade and il become a nervous wreck, im already too scared to get excited!

my edd is 27th january 2008 which makes me 4+1 today!

i havnt read any previous posts but im hoping i can just join in

i used to be desperate2bmum if anyone remembers also.

Morning all!

Daisybump - I was thinking about you on the way in this morning... I said to dh that I was already dreading the labour and what would I be like when only a few weeks away. And then I thought, I'll be like Daisy, desperate for the little tyke to arrive! Can't believe how quickly time is going... Very much like the pram, btw. Did you get it in red?

Hello and welcome to Iwillbepg! Congratulations on your bfp and fingers crossed for a safe and boring pg!

Firststar - I remember struggling a bit with work towards the end last time and just having to concentrate on getting through one day at a time. Can't remember if I mentioned it before, but I also used my holiday to take Wednesdays off to give myself a recovery day and have a break from commuting...

EJB - glad you had a good holiday!

Hello to everyone else! Had a bit of a nesting urge this weekend so was tidying until about 10pm on Saturday! Which is good as our house needs an awful lot of tidying!!! Am finding my appetite has increased as well so today is the last day I am wearing my biggest trousers and it's into maternity clothes for me tomorrow...

firststar and mumpbump thanks for the lovely welcome!

i too am hoping for a boring pregnancy with lots of morning sickness so i know im still pg!!

how far along are you two?

i phoned the doctors earlier and i want to see a particular doctor but she hasnt got an available appointment until 29th but it clashes with work so im going to try and get that off but if not i have to wait until 4th i dont really want to but by then i will still only be 7 weeks.

im toying with the idea of an early scan at 9 weeks too...any one else had one?

PurpleLostPrincess · 21/05/2007 13:04

Hello all! Haven't had a chance to catch up at all - have stolen a few minutes out of my lunchbreak to pop in!

We've got no internet at home so I've missed you all like crazy, hope all is well?

I went to the consultants last week - what a palarva (sp?)!! They couldn't find the heartbeat so ended up having a quick scan to check all is well and they double checked that we're having a girl. Wish I'd taken somebody with me as it was a little scary to be honest! Also, I've got low blood pressure which would explain why I've been feeling sick lately and very very tired and out of breath all the time. Trying to take things slowly as can't afford any more time off work.

Will catch up properly as soon as our internet is back again which will hopefully be later this week (grrrr to the phone company by the way!).

Take care, PLP 22+2 xoxoxo

Mumpbump · 21/05/2007 13:06

Princess - how scary! What a relief that everything is okay.

Iwillbepg - I'm 21 weeks today! There is a stats thread which you can post on when you feel confident enough about the pg - took a while for me... I had an early scan at 8 weeks for dating and viability and although it is no guarantee, it was very reassuring to see a heartbeat. I'd definitely ask about it...
