@snowy1982 my symptoms are starting to ease I get nausea am but not as bad then on and off in the day where as before it was all day and much worse it has made me worry a little I still get occasional twinges and I feel fatigued but not much else my boobs have never been sore only slightly on the nipples which I still kinda have.
I'm near to 10 weeks tho so I don't know if this is normal? Such mixed messages about the placenta taking over?! it's been bothering me the last few days this happened a week or so back but it's hard not to think something is wrong, was thinking of ringing and asking my midwife just for advice.

RedRobin7 · 02/02/2018 08:49

@Ktn35 I am also 5+6... so far only slight cramping on the left (doctor just said to keep an eye on it), bloated all the time and sore boobs. I keep checking my boobs are still sore... my husband keeps asking why I'm doing that... men just don't get it! I've booked myself in for a private 8 week scan which I hope will stop me from worrying so much. I'm not sleeping well either but even before pregnancy my brain was always too active and causing me to sleep walk and sleep talk. Now I'm just constantly tossing and turning so feel like I'm not sleeping. As a result my husband is kept awake and he's grumpy too!

@helen290 at my scan yesterday I was talking to MW about the changes in symptoms and she said your body can just adjust to the hormones and be able to deal with it better. My boobs are def not as tender as they were, but I still notice a lot of relief when I get home from work and take my bra off so there is obvs still some tenderness there, also one of my dogs loves to burrow his head into my armpit (he is a weird pup) and I notice this still cause me pain.

I think things are just going to keep changing on us and it’s a pain in the arse as it’s the changes that make me panic.

On a lighter note, one of my dogs who was never overly cuddly in the past seems to be really keen on snuggling with me this past while, can’t help but wonder if it’s because i’m pregnant!?!

Hardheadedwoman39 · 02/02/2018 09:31

@PumpkinPatch000 thinking f you this morning and keeping my fingers crossed for you x

ChilliCheeseMama · 02/02/2018 09:36

Just found out I'm due in September too! Im 9 + 2 weeks today :)! Keep on truckin' ladies we've all made it this far and just a few more weeks until we all feel a little less worried I'm sure, I had an early scan a few days ago as I was going crazy with worry and I haven't had my midwife booking appointment yet!

Hoping the spotting is nothing, stay strong 💖

samanthajonespr · 02/02/2018 09:41

Good luck @PumpkinPatch000

Helen290 · 02/02/2018 10:14

@snowy1982 spoke to midwife said the same she said don't worry and typically my nausea seems to be back lol.

My puppy has been doing exactly the same always cuddling up to me and wanting to lie on me I think it might be!!! 🙈🐶.

snowy1982 · 02/02/2018 11:06

@helen290, I don’t know how our 2 dogs will react to the baby, am a bit anxious about that. My SIL has a 2 yo and the odd time the dogs have been around her they’ve been grand, but they are quite big dogs and can be quite excitable

Helen290 · 02/02/2018 11:16

@snowy1982 I know I am bit worried too it's my first baby and our puppy is currently 10 months old had some guarding issues and I am worried how he will be I love him to bits so couldn't bare the thought of not having him but the guarding is a bit of an issue. 🙈😔

Helen290 · 02/02/2018 11:17

@snowy1982 my dog is a cockapoo so a small dog

octoberfarm · 02/02/2018 11:18

Hi all, wondered if I could join too. I'm 7+5 today and had an early scan (US-based) yesterday so got to see the heartbeat, which was lovely!

Wondered if anyone else is suffering from insomnia/difficulty sleeping? I'm waking up like clockwork every day between 3am and 4am and not getting back to sleep. I'm on my knees with a toddler too! Not sure if it's just me.

snowy1982 · 02/02/2018 11:22

@helen290, we have a 5 yo (it’s his birthday today) springer lab x (more lab size than springer) and a 3 yo collie beagle x.

Springer lab is a very gentle dog and very submissive, has never shown any signs of jealousy or agression and I think he will be great with the baby, obvs he would still have to be watched very closely because just the size of him could be a problem even if he is behaving well.

Collie beagle is smaller and is the boss of the house, he picks on the other dog and shows signs of jealousy, although only ever directed at the other dog, never with people or other dogs. I think if we have any problems it will be with him.

DH wants us to keep the dogs away from baby at the beginning but I don’t think that’s a good idea, i think they need to be introduced from the beginning but in very controlled circumstances

Hardheadedwoman39 · 02/02/2018 11:24

Hi @octoberfarm - congratulations!
I wake at exactly the same time every night, go to the loo and then my brain starts ticking away and I can't sleep.....

Helen290 · 02/02/2018 11:57

@snowy1982 I agree we had a trainer due to our puppies problems and they said have him around the baby from the start so he gets use to it in a controlled way keeping him away could cause more problems they need to get use to it 🙂.

snowy1982 · 02/02/2018 12:31

@helen290 that’s what I keep saying to DH, I think it would cause jealousy to keep them away, just have to be extremely careful with them all

MissSophieB397 · 02/02/2018 13:33

Hello,

I just wanted to say thank you for everyone's support. It was lovely to read your messages this morning. Sadly, the scan and blood test have confirmed it is not good news. We have had a miscarriage and are heartbroken.

Good luck to everyone and their pregnancies, sending love x
