Hello Smile I'm 7 weeks and 4 days today and have had super sore nipples (this and fatigue have been my only symptoms really and just a dull sick feeling all day no actual sickness) and today I've woken up and my boobs feel completely normal and I'm a little worried as I had a loss last year and I'm terrified the same is going to happen and I'm analysing everything. I guess my question is, is it normal? Has anyone had this and gone on to a successful pregnancy? Thanks in advance x

jellybean218 · 22/02/2018 23:20

Have you thought out have felt quickening today yet? thought I felt a flutter today like butterflies but I'm unsure xx

Hi @jellybean218 how are you? Any more symptoms for you? Still nothing here Confused

Not sure how to cope with the worry! My next appointment isn’t for soooo long...

jellybean218 · 27/02/2018 13:29

Hi @hopingandprayingthistime I'm doing okay just stressing over moving. Nope no symptoms here just achy boobs but that's it. How are you? I'm not sure how to cope either, the waiting is awful :/ how long until your next one? I have a private gender scan on the 7th of March (for only £40 too. we're not finding out at the scan they're giving us a party cannon and we're going a meal to find out with all our families) and I'm panicking that something is wrong and they'll tell me at the scan. Is your next scan your 20 week scan? Xx

OP posts:
hopingandprayingthistime · 27/02/2018 15:24

@jellybean218 that sounds fun! Yeah my next scan is 20 weeks. No symptoms at all here. Boobs are normal. Everything is normal. Panicking!

jellybean218 · 27/02/2018 20:16

@hopingandprayingthistime apparently it's normal to feel normal now though because all our hormones have levelled out so I just try to focus on that :) xx

Noonaylor · 28/02/2018 19:08

Hi @hopingandprayingthistime and @jellybean218 how are you two doing? Thought I'd let you know that I finally got my results back yesterday! safe test came back as low risk. As you can imagine my husband and I are so happy! We can now start telling everyone! A shame they only emailed on the final day of my holiday! As I did spend the week anxious and didn't sleep fantasticlly (they emailed a week after they said they would) so as you can imagine its been a long 15 days wait! I am now going to start my maternity shopping too! Have either of your bought maternity bras yet? I have comfortable ones for sleeping in but nothing special for during the day. I have large boobs anyway (36 e/f) but have definitely gone up a size or 2 Any suggestions? Also have you tried the maternity belt with your regular trousers? Mine still fit but are uncomfortable round the waist. I've been having to wear high waisted. Jelly bean how did your scan and blood combo results go?? So good to hear about your OH's family. One less thing for you to have on your mind! Xx

jellybean218 · 28/02/2018 23:01

Hello @Noonaylor lovely to hear from you! Smile how was your holiday? I hope you had a lovely time!
Oh that's brilliant news! So happy for you and DH Grin how are you going to tell people? And no I've not got maternity bras yet but I did invest in stretchy trousers today :') I've heard the best thing to go for is a soft sports bra, I'm going to start looking soon though. Ah no I've not tried the maternity belt, if you do you'll have to let us know how if it's any comfier :)
Thank you, yes it's so much nicer to just be getting along. The scan went well thank you and my results were 1 in 29,000 so I feel a lot more at ease. Got my private gender scan on weekday next week at 6:15pm so I'm panicking about that now :') fingers crossed! When is your next scan? Xx

Noonaylor · 05/03/2018 16:47

@jellybean218 thanks feeling so much happier :). The holiday was good. Nice an relaxing apart from being anxious about the results. But now I have been given good news that's all that matters!
I haven't got my bands yet, delayed due to the weather. But when they do arrive I'll let you know! I tried on some mat trousers today and man they were comfy - been getting far to use to my current trousers digging in. So I've ordered some and will hopefully be here tomorrow!
My next scan is my 20 week one on the 5th April - a bit of a wait, but I'm sure it will start to whizz now that 12 is out of the way!
That's Brill about your results, really nice to put your mind at ease! Oo Wednesday is not far away! What do you think your baby is? We are going to try not to find out, but I'm sure that will be easier said than done when we actually get in there! We would really like a little girl, but to be honest we are just happy to be having a baby!
My office were all chuffed I told my manager first and started to cry..! And then showed her my scans. She thought I was resigning! Lol and then I told the rest of my team. Its the first office baby and they have said they can't wait to plan a baby shower! Really nice to have it out in the open :) going to do a Facebook post on mother's day to tell every one else.. Bit cheesy but..!
Have you told everyone now? Xx

hopingandprayingthistime · 05/03/2018 21:52

So glad everything is going well for you ladies. I am just waiting now until my 20 week scan... seems like ages away!

jellybean218 · 06/03/2018 19:18

@Noonaylor glad you had a lovely holiday and are feeling more at ease, exactly you've been given good news so that's all that matters your results will be all good I'm betting! Did your maternity trousers come, if so are they comfy? I need to get some! These stretchy trousers just don't feel nice all. Oh I'm sure it will fly! Keep busy and you'll be sat at your 20 week scan before you know it :D that's so lovely that work have reacted like that! You're gonna have such a lovely pregnancy at work, really happy for you! That's not cheesy my sister is doing the same and revealing her gender on Mother's Day. It's a lovely idea and I hope it's a lovely time for you! We had a 4d scan yesterday (the gender isn't known we have the cannon that we are pulling at the meal tomorrow I'm so exited!) but the naughty monkey stuck up it's fingers at the scan and also waved and was so active haha (pictures attached) xx

@hopingandprayingthistime hope you're doing well, it does seem so long away but you'll be at your 20 week scan before you know it! Xx

I'm only 4+2. For a week I had nausea, sore boobs, dizziness.. now I have less nausea, boobs are fine but nipples have now started to hurt and tiredness is kicking in. I think it's normal to have fluctuations Smile

jellybean218 · 07/03/2018 23:26

Just thought I'd let you girls know how the gender reveal went.. GrinGrin xx

Oh my gosh! Firstly your baby is sooo cute! I love that he stuck his finger up! And secondly a boy! Awe congratulations! I'm so happy for you 😘. That photo is so good, love an action shot.

I still don't have my bump bands.. Think the weather delayed the post! I did buy some mat jeans and a couple of tops. It's like they were meant for pregnancy or something! Man they are so comfy!

jellybean218 · 08/03/2018 21:25

Thank you @Noonaylor i just keep looking at the scans, his face is so clear one the one I've just posted (sorry for the spam I'm just over the moon) and thank you for the congratulations Grin

Yeah it's most probably the weather delaying it, it put a stop to everything didn't it! D: haha really?! Nooo! :') where did you get your mat stuff from if you don't mind me asking? I have been to new look but can't really find much xx

@jellybean218, not at all! Spam away! It's such an exciting time! I love seeing him! He's so cute! I know they still haven't arrived.. I'm hoping when I get home tonight they will be there! I've gone to a few places, newlook had some tops in the sale which were quite good (vest tops and long sleeve t-shirt - couldn't go wrong at £2-4 each!) , but you are right not the best selection. I got some jeans in h+m and ordered some in to debhams but they were too short. I think the key is trying on the limited stock in the shop to check what size you are in maternity wear then ordering online as they have more choice. Asos seem to have alot, but I'm a little warey to buy as I'm not sure what sizes to go for..!
Got my midwife appointment this afternoon. Wish it was a scan!
Anyone else getting a funny feeling in their belly button? Not painful, but it feels like I have a finger pushing it. Probably stretching, but I also heard it could be the baby pulling on the ambilicol cord - quite cute if so!
17 weeks today. Can't believe our babies our now 5 inches! Where did the jelly bean stage go! Xx

jellybean218 · 13/03/2018 11:01

@Noonaylor thank you oh as if they still haven't arrived! Hopefully they have now? Or I'd send them an email. Oooo that's a bargain and that's also a really good idea! Then you know what size to order, can't believe I didn't think of it, baby brain 😂

how did your Midwife's appointment go? Did you hear the heart beat?! oh how strange! I hope it is your little one having a pull letting you know they're there :') I haven't had that feeling but I have felt flutters and as if a thumb is running over the inside of my belly. I know! It's flown! Only 5 more months to go ay! Xx

@hopingandprayingthistime, hope you're well x

How we doing @hopingandprayingthistime & @jellybean218??
Any kicks yet? I'm not sure whether I'm feeling movement or not yet! I can't wait for the baby to kick and me be certain!
My 20 week scan on Thursday! And my first antenatal class. Very excited.. But as I get nearer the more nervous I get for the scan.
Have you had your 20 weeks scan yet? All go well?? Any classes booked in? X

hopingandprayingthistime · 03/04/2018 15:49

Hi @Noonaylor I’ve got my 20 week scan next week! Fingers crossed for all of us. I am nervous too. Are you going to find out the sex? I am feeling some little movements I think! Bump still quite small! How are you both feeling? Do you have proper bumps yet? xx

Noonaylor · 03/04/2018 16:17

@hopingandprayingthistime that's so exciting! I'm sure everything will be fine, it's just so scary now we are half way! Yes I have a bump. I feel quite big actually, but I eat alot of vegetables so could be gas! We are going to try and resist finding out. But I'm sure that is going to be easier said than done! We've decided on a name (middle still undecided!) , so at least we don't have to keep calling it It for the next 4 and a half months! What about you? And have you had any thoughts about names? X

hopingandprayingthistime · 03/04/2018 21:58

Ooh well done @Noonaylor - is it a name that would suit either sex or have you got two? Part of me is tempted to find out but part of me really wants a surprise! I can’t decide! DH is leaving it up to me so no help there! xx

jellybean218 · 04/04/2018 11:31

Hey ladies!

@Noonaylor scan and the antenatal class in one day! Sounds exciting you'll have to let us know how both go 😊 hope you're well! Xx

@hopingandprayingthistime not long for your scan then! Mine is Tuesday. ohhh I bet you're desperate to find out! :') it would be such a nice surprise on the day but It would make it easier to buy for I suppose. I couldn't resist finding out haha. I have felt movements too and even seen a little kick or nudge we got it on video. Hope you're well! Xx
