Hello Smile I'm 7 weeks and 4 days today and have had super sore nipples (this and fatigue have been my only symptoms really and just a dull sick feeling all day no actual sickness) and today I've woken up and my boobs feel completely normal and I'm a little worried as I had a loss last year and I'm terrified the same is going to happen and I'm analysing everything. I guess my question is, is it normal? Has anyone had this and gone on to a successful pregnancy? Thanks in advance x

Thanks @jellybean218 it hasn’t continued thankfully. Stopped pretty much straight away. I’m going to call the midwife today anyway xx

jellybean218 · 19/02/2018 13:43

@hopingandprayingthistime that's brilliant! It'll all be fine I'm sure, but let us know how the call goes with the midwife xx

@jellybean218 midwife said it’s normal so fingers crossed all is okay xx

MagggieMay · 19/02/2018 14:44

Yep, I had this. Kept poking my boobs to see if they hurt. Symptoms came and went. Am 25 weeks now :)

jellybean218 · 19/02/2018 18:01

@hopingandprayingthistime that's good then, I hope you're feeling a bit better about it now xx

Ladies another thing, is it just me or is anyone else really restless at night? The last week I honestly haven't had more than 3 hours sleep it's killing me 😩 xx

Had this at 8 weeks he’s now 10 years old. All the best OP.

hopingandprayingthistime · 20/02/2018 08:30

Me too @jellybean218! It’s mainly the constant needing the loo 2-4 times per night!

hopingandprayingthistime · 20/02/2018 08:31

... and the worrying xx

jellybean218 · 20/02/2018 08:38

@hopingandprayingthistime it's ridiculous isn't it? Constantly weeing, worrying and no sleep. I'm trying loads of things but nothing helps xx

I’m exactly the same @jellybean218... I’ll let you know if I find something that works! Baths and no caffeine (although obviously we’re not meant to be having much caffeine anyway!) seem to help xx

CrabbyPatty · 20/02/2018 13:04

Anybody else flipping boiling at night? I keep waking up dropping in sweat. We did but a better quality duvet so not sure if it's that but my husband loves it (it does feel so much snugglier until about 2am) and doesn't want to change back to the old thin one.

jellybean218 · 20/02/2018 13:28

@hopingandprayingthistime thank you make sure oh do Ahha I can't cope much longer :') yeah I completely cut caffeine as soon as I found out. It's killed me having no Dr Pepper as it had loads! But the bath before bed hasn't worked either boo xx

jellybean218 · 20/02/2018 13:29

@CrabbyPatty I can't say I get too warm but if I do the one leg in one leg out always works so try just sticking your legs out, or secretly swap duvets back and hope DH doesn't realise I haha.

@jellybean218 I’m getting weird tummy pains low down - do you have those? Hoping just “stretching” pains!

jellybean218 · 20/02/2018 20:18

@hopingandprayingthistime I do get this a lot actually! I've had it for around 6 weeks. Its usually to the end of each week like now 13+6 and it starts, so I think it's cause it's growing and usually when I do too much at work I get aches. It will just be the stretching or doing too much. I worried about it until all my scans have been okay since. It's really normal my midwife said :) xx

That’s good to know thanks @jellybean218 I’ve only really started getting it in the last week or so. Laying on the sofa seems to help!

jellybean218 · 20/02/2018 21:54

@hopingandprayingthistime well definitely more tv and sofa time for you then :') xx

Up since the small hours again @jellybean218! Hope you had a better night xx

jellybean218 · 21/02/2018 10:47

@hopingandprayingthistime oh no, hope you get a better sleep tonight! I managed to get about 5 hours of broken sleep so I do feel a bit better. Not running on empty so much :') xx

Well I've just had my letter from my test results, I was so nervous opening it. It says the chances are 1 in 29000 for Down syndrome and a 1 in 88000 for Edwards Xx

hopingandprayingthistime · 21/02/2018 21:23

That’s great news @jellybean218 that sounds extremely low risk! xx

jellybean218 · 21/02/2018 22:15

Thank you @hopingandprayingthistime ! We feel a little bit more at ease now. Hoping for a better nights sleep for us both tonight! Xx

hopingandprayingthistime · 22/02/2018 19:52

Hope you’re okay today @jellybean218 and had a good day xx

jellybean218 · 22/02/2018 20:26

Thank you @hopingandprayingthistime I'm okay just let frustrated with DH. I talk to him about birth etc and my fears and he just stares at me and says nothing and when I ask why it's "well I don't see any point in saying something when it's ifs and maybes. Yeah you could have a long labour" and more things like that. He's not a talker anyway but it's so frustrating! He is so supportive but talking.. not his strong point 😩 I hope you've had a good day! How are you feeling? :) xx
