Hello Smile I'm 7 weeks and 4 days today and have had super sore nipples (this and fatigue have been my only symptoms really and just a dull sick feeling all day no actual sickness) and today I've woken up and my boobs feel completely normal and I'm a little worried as I had a loss last year and I'm terrified the same is going to happen and I'm analysing everything. I guess my question is, is it normal? Has anyone had this and gone on to a successful pregnancy? Thanks in advance x

So I went to the midwife today and went through all of the info and what not. Got my 12 week scan on the 1st of February and she's happy with everything at the moment Smile but I think I have a uti, got a really strange lower ache and tmi but every time I wee I feel like it's not all been vacated from my bladder :') so cranberry juice it is aha x

Glad you’re appointment went well. If you think you have a UTI you must go back to the GP and get treatment as it’s not good for you or the baby. Don’t just drink cranberry juice Hun x

agteacht · 09/01/2018 20:45

Sorry to hear about the UTI but great to have your scan date jellybean. Any symptoms at the moment?
Counting the days to my appointment next Friday, but it's only the doctor referral to midwife so a proper appointment still feels like ages away! Have started to look at early scan possibilities...

jellybean218 · 09/01/2018 22:04

I will ring the doctors in the morning to see if I can get in, I'm terrified of work going mad with having appointments and things Sad but thank you ladies! I feel like time is dragging until tomorrow! It's at 7:30 at night too so it will feel like forever! No more symptoms just feeling sick (but a little less today) and the sore nipples. How are you ladies? Symptoms? And all well I hope x

Good luck tonight op!
I’m worried too... I’m 9+3 and my symptoms practically disappeared at 7 weeks. Plus for the last 5 days I’ve had a tiny bit of light brown discharge Sad
Had my booking in appointment today with the midwife and was told I can have an early scan if I want. But spoke to the gp this afternoon and he said because I’m still getting really strong positive pregnancy tests is a really good sign. He said I could have an early scan if I want, or wait until 12 weeks as it’s not long to go. I said I’d wait until 12 weeks. Tbh I think I’m burying my head in the sand and would rather delay knowing Sad
Sorry for the essay! If anyone can reassure me please feel free!

jellybean218 · 10/01/2018 18:21

Hey dancer on ice, thank you! And the fact you are still getting really strong positives is good! As you've seen mine have been coming and going and it seems really common from what I've read, as is pinky/brown discharge. Brown is old blood so that's good! Knowing myself I would probably want the early scan just for reassurance so you're stronger than me for waiting! But I'm sure everything will be perfect with your little bean! Make sure you keep us updated and never apologise for writing an essay or having a moan it's what we all do on here haha x

Thanks so much jellybean. The midwife gave me so much info this morning and I felt like a fraud taking it. Like I’m not really pregnant. I’ve bought loads of cheap tests so will keep doing one every day!
I think I want an early scan one minute, then don’t the next. I just don’t want the bad news I suppose! I know that doesn’t make sense though.
Let us know how you get on later!

agteacht · 10/01/2018 18:41

Hi danceronice, I think (hope at least!) that that's normal from everything I've read! I'm 7w and almost no symptoms. I might do another pregnancy test this week to reassure myself further! But really think you will be fine. Maybe we are just lucky???

Good luck tonight jellybean x

Noonaylor · 10/01/2018 19:17

@jellybean218 I am the same, I did have nausea and extremely sore boobs but now nothing! I am exhausted though. But it does make you worry if you are still pregnant! No bleeding or anything, but you do start to wonder if it is all in your head!
Can't wait for my 12 week scan, as soon as I see my baby I will be reassured that I am indeed pregnant! I'm 7+6 so still a little while to go. I am tempted by the private scan, but knowing me ,even if I see the baby and it's heart beat, as soon as I leave I will be wondering if all is still ok! So I think I will wait until 12 weeks when there is less chance of things going wrong! I had my midwife appointment on Monday, How did yours go? Get a nice midwife? x

DancerOnIce · 10/01/2018 19:29

Thanks agteacht Flowers

jellybean218 · 10/01/2018 20:00

Well ladies, I had the scan and she said I'm bang on 8 weeks and the heart beat is perfect! I cried :') x

Hey noonaylor! It's good to know it's not just me! So reassuring isn't it! So you aren't having any symptoms now? I'd say we're all rather lucky! Aha. How are you feeling about being pregnant then? And my midwife is lovely, she's really nice and understanding and said to call or text if I ever need her. You're so much stronger than me I honestly couldn't of waited for the 12 week one id of passed out :') x

Aww jellybean 21 8 so cute! I know.. I'll see if I can wait! 4 weeks is a long time! So cute, your baby is due a day before mine! Yeh she was lovely! I was worried she was wouldn't be! But I think I was just panicking! No no symptoms apart from being exhausted . I am bloated, but I don't know whether that's to do with being pregnant or not! I know it's mad, but I just want a little something again (even if it's the horrendously sore boobs!) just to give me some reassurance! X

DancerOnIce · 10/01/2018 20:30

Ahh lovely jellybean!

jellybean218 · 10/01/2018 21:23

Thank you danceronice :) and noonaylor no way! A day apart :') 4 weeks is a long time but your scan will be lovely it will be a little baby! (Not a roast chicken looking thing like mine haha but a beautiful roast chicken at that) and yeah I know what you mean, like you just want a sign there that reminds you you're pregnant and bloated is definitely one, I'm so bloated it's unreal.. but I'm sure you'll gain some symptoms in the next few weeks. Awh see at least she's nice! I don't think I could cope with a mean midwife x

Great news Jelly bean I was thinking of you yesterday. My symptoms are all back so feeling rough but very reassured! I'm glad your appointment went well, I haven't got any appointments through yet and I'm 8 weeks now. Think it varies a lot from hospital to hospital

jellybean218 · 11/01/2018 20:19

Awh thank you @mrsflurph 😊 oh I'm glad your symptoms are back! They make you feel that little bit more pregnant don't they. But sorry you're feeling rough! Thanks yeah I think it varies from hospital and doctors surgery. Everyone I know struggles to get into their doctors but mine is okay. Hope you get your appointments all through soon! X
