Hey everyone I thought I'd start a thread for September babies!

I've found out I was pregnant yesterday which was amazing! I'm a first time mum so I'm new to all of this, conceived cycle 2.

When should I contact GP to confirm pregnancy, has anyone got any advice this early on?

PinkyPromise77 · 05/01/2018 20:26

Oh and I’m in such a disbelief I’ve been testing every day with cheapies just to make sure it’s happening 😂 going to use my digital tomorrow to get my hubby on board lol he doesn’t believe the faint lines 😂

charlie1234567 · 05/01/2018 22:40

Got both the dates for my booking in appointment and my 12 week scan today.... starting to feel a little more real!

CheekyPearl · 05/01/2018 22:58

Hi everyone! Okay if I no

CheekyPearl · 05/01/2018 23:01

Oh god I've got fat fingers 🙈 Congratulaions everyone! Is it okay if I join? I got my BFP on New Years Eve and am due 7th September!

GlastoFairy1 · 06/01/2018 08:28

Hi everyone, can I join too? Congrats on all your BFPs. I got mine 3 days ago and think i’m due on 12th Sept. This will be my first DC at 41 years old! Have had v sore boobs and cramps for the last week but no nausea yet, thankfully. How are you all feeling now?

snowy1982 · 06/01/2018 14:39

CheekyPearl, we have same due date Smile

Welcome GlastoFairy, I have cramps every day, though their not too strong, and getting nausea every day (usually late afternoon/early evening) though again it’s not too bad. No boob tenderness at all

Hardheadedwoman39 · 06/01/2018 20:33

Hi All, Big congratulations to everyone , I recognise a few names Smile
I joined another September thread but I think it stopped so am hopping on here.
I tested in the 21/12 and my due date is 8th September
I'm exhausted post 5pm and boobs are agony....oh and I'm terrified!

Any tips for staying calm?

kelsospink · 06/01/2018 21:10

Hi everyone, congrats to you all! Exciting times ahead.... I found out on 22 Dec - a wee bit sooner than had we expected but we are just overjoyed! I’m 42 and genuinely never thought I’d be in this position so am feeling very thankful indeed (and a bit overwhelmed and clueless!) 🙂. I have really tender boobs and the odd cramp but no sickness as yet... I’m 6 and a half weeks. Look forward to comparing notes and hearing how everyone’s doing in the coming months x

Natataliejason · 06/01/2018 23:52

What is the smep? ? & congratulations everyone I found out I was pregnant in December also xx

MonaTheMoaner · 07/01/2018 00:22

TMI but I have terrible constipation to the point where I just googled if straining can cause a miscarriage (apparently not - felt like I was trying to birth my insides).

Anyone have any pregnancy safe remedies? I’m still ‘stuck’ if you get me? I’m so sorry for the TMI Blush

PinkyPromise77 · 07/01/2018 08:35

Exciting news kelsospink! Giving Hope to all the ladies out there too :) I also have No idea hehe what the hell I’m doing or what I supposed to be doing 🙈 no clue hahahaha

Hardheadedwoman39 · 07/01/2018 09:29

TMI warning - I have just been to the loo and when I wiped there was dark brown blood in the cm..... am obviously now worried.

Has anyone experienced this?

I didn't have it in my previous two pregnancies but that was 11 years ago!

I'm 5wks 3 days

snowy1982 · 07/01/2018 10:42

@hardheadedwoman39, I haven’t experience this but others have (it not the same, something similar) either on this thread or others i’ve been. I don’t think it’s an uncommon occurrence, keep an eye on it over day, if more occurs or if you are still feeling concerned maybe contact your GP in the morning. Sorry can’t be more help

Scoobysue10 · 07/01/2018 10:49

Well the sicky feeling with heaving kicked in yesterday morning and felt rough all day but wasn't actually sick, but will put that down to a busy long day Friday and not much sleep Friday night.
Had a good sleep last night and felt fine this morning till I sipped some water so looks like water is off the menu.
My first two pregnancies were so different but this one is a mixture of the two.

How are all you ladies doing.

Fia256 · 07/01/2018 10:55

I still don't have any symptoms! Or not the main ones anyway (boobs feel absolutely no different, no sickness or nausea etc) I did feel a bit sick while travelling in the car today but it was a long country road route and I don't travel well anyway! The only half symptom I seem to have is my face has erupted in spots, and I feel tired. Also have keep feeling like I've started bleeding but it's just cm Blush it's crazy wishing the sickness and sore boobs on really! Trying not to worry though as symptoms don't tend to kick in till 7 weeks with me! Anyone else symptomless?!

kelsospink · 07/01/2018 10:59

Thanks @PinkyPromise77! 😊 I’m really struggling with a chesty cough and cold just now....it’s doing the rounds I think! Sore boobs have eased a bit though, so every cloud..... 😉

OverseastepMom · 07/01/2018 11:07

Just tested positive - conceived on my 40th birthday- what an amazing present!

I'm excited and nervous as I am already iron deficient anemic and just had tests done (as it was taking us a while to get pregnant) and if it was day 21, then my progestrone was low at 5.2.Booking in at Drs next week to put my mind at rest and see what I can do to make sure I have enough of all I need for both baby and me.

Meanwhile, I took my new little addition out for a 5k run this morning to make sure that I do as much as I can to keep in shape while I am carrying.

Congratulations all other posters.... Exciting times ahead!

snowy1982 · 07/01/2018 12:12

Fia256, I am the same with the CM, not every day but some days there is quite a lot of it. Still feeling mildly queasy in the late afternoons, early evening and still have mild cramps every day. Still no boob tenderness. Feeling quite anxious today though, don’t know why as no specific reason for it but just feel like something is going to go wrong

niclw · 07/01/2018 12:16

Fia256, I don't have any symptoms at the moment either. Last weekend, I was teary with very sore and large boobs. This weekend, nothing other than a few spots. I was so worried that the symptoms had disappeared that I took another test on Friday but was still positive. I'll probably end up texting again in a few days to reassure myself x

Hardheadedwoman39 · 07/01/2018 12:38

Thank you @snowy1982

snowy1982 · 07/01/2018 12:54

@niclw, I have been addicted to POAS, went cold turkey from Wednesday but I am dying to test again since I feel so unsettled today. Trying to just calm myself down. Have my early scan 1 week tomorrow so going to try and hold out

Natataliejason · 07/01/2018 12:56

niclw · 07/01/2018 13:01

Snowy1982. I used iui to get pregnant so my clinic have booked me in for a scan on the 25th to check for ectopic/ multiples etc. It just seems so far away right now. I'll be 7 weeks then so at least I will see the heart beating. Good luck with you scan x

snowy1982 · 07/01/2018 13:28

I had IUI as well niclw, it’s that clinic having me in for scan early too, I will be 6 +3 so have been warned that heartbeat may or may not be visible, but if it isn’t visible but all else looks well they’ll take me in again a week later
