Hey everyone I thought I'd start a thread for September babies!

I've found out I was pregnant yesterday which was amazing! I'm a first time mum so I'm new to all of this, conceived cycle 2.

When should I contact GP to confirm pregnancy, has anyone got any advice this early on?

@TeaVee if you go onto the watch list screen and swipe on this thread it will give you the option to unwatch

Sorry for your loss 😢

Kiztok · 25/01/2018 19:24

@PumpkinPatch000
It was ok, nothing happened other than she estimated my due date to 28th sept and sent a referral for the hospital for my booking in appointment and then my scan x

TeaVee · 25/01/2018 19:53

Thankyou polkadotpixie.
Congratulations to everyone else here, I hope you all have easy pregnancys and don't have the heartache I do.
Good luck everyone ❤️

SquidgyMcPidgy · 25/01/2018 19:56

@PumpkinPatch I don’t think the GP would do a scan, they are usually done in hospitals so you might have to wait for the 12-week one, unless of course you book a private one before that.

SquidgyMcPidgy · 25/01/2018 19:59

@Francesca, if you are sure that you are 5w 2d, then I’d say you probably conceived somewhere in the first few days of January (around the 2nd maybe).

SquidgyMcPidgy · 25/01/2018 20:00

Sorry just saw you said 5w 6d, which makes it around 29th December I guess

snowy1982 · 25/01/2018 20:40

@pumpkinpatch, the GP won’t do a scan, you would only get one this early if you had problems or you went private, also it wouldn’t be done at GP but at hospital

cougarsrus · 25/01/2018 20:49

@PumpkinPatch000 Hi again, I'm feeling ok ... tired, peeing on lots of sticks , really really thirsty! but waiting for all the morning sickness and nausea to kick in 🤗 how are you? I'm due 29th based on my actual ovulation but from LMP few days out 😬

Newbie here
Found out I was expecting last week, due around the 28th I think, I have an 7 and 5 year old, sadly suffered a miscarriage 2 years ago so scared of every twinge I'm feeling, google is never your friend in early pregnancy!
Symptoms are very strong and already sporting a bump, struggling to hide it from family already 😉

Oh congrats Beautymummy! Sorry to hear about your loss but keeping everything crossed for you! Wow already showing?!

Anyone else have terrrrrrribel trapped wind 😩?!

snowy1982 · 26/01/2018 06:32

@ktn35, between the trapped wind and the constipation I feel the size of a house. Have to go do a stock take today for a client, 5+ hours of constantly walking around a cold warehouse, I am bloody dreading it because I feel so uncomfortable (also fear a repeat of Tuesday toilet problems in the clients crappy facilities) Sad

Ktn35 · 26/01/2018 06:42

😩😩 sometimes I fart without having any control over it. I’m a teacher 😫 Awful!!

Scoobysue10 · 26/01/2018 07:37

Snowy 1982 and Ken 35.
Had terrible trapped wind last night. Stomach was so uncomfortable and bloated.
I have realised I haven't been a number 2 since I had the bug last wkend and now joining you snowy in constipation.... horrible.
Woke up tired this morning. Not been in work since last Friday and have 2 12hr shifts Sat and Sun. Great
Hope you manage to get through the day snowy.

PumpkinPatch000 · 26/01/2018 07:45

@SquidgyMcPidgy ah okay cool! We might have one done privately a little earlier as we are thinking of having the harmony test but not too sure yet.

@kiztok glad the appointment went okay. It must feel good to have some things booked in.

@cougarsus glad you are feeling okay! Lol at peeing on lots of sticks, I feel the temptation to do that too. I’m feeling okay thanks, I’m getting more signs by the day and feeling more pregnant. My lips are very dry and so are my eyes (I didn’t even realise these were due to pregnancy until I googled!) also feeling nauseous at random times. Sometimes I feel hot and others cold, has anyone else had that? Not like a fever or shivery or anything but sometimes I feel so so cold! x

Scoobysue10 · 26/01/2018 08:01

Pumpkin patch 000.
I was feeling so cold just before I found out I was pregnant up until maybe a couple of wks ago. I am now 8wks +5.
Now I am extra warmth and get comfort form the cold. Lol.
How many wks are you. ??

PinkyPromise77 · 26/01/2018 09:05

PumpkinPatch000 I have spells when I feel super cold and then feel like I'm having hot flushes... lol

Good luck Snowy hopefully there will be no issues. Wear lots of lawyers so you don't get too cold.

Ktn35 I'm having wind issues too although no issues with no 2... probably due to my previous IBS problems...

PinkyPromise77 · 26/01/2018 09:06

LOL LAYERS not lawyers heeheheheh :)

snowy1982 · 26/01/2018 09:52

@pinkypromise am sure lawyers would do the job too Smile

PinkyPromise77 · 26/01/2018 11:06

heheeh Snowy they would for sure Grin

radio4junkie · 26/01/2018 12:02

Anyone else been feeling more emotional? I am really tearful and having never been a negative person in feeling quite down and just want to hide in the house! Also shattered and nauseous which is probably part of it. I’m nine weeks and will be glad when I’ve had my scan -booked for four weeks time and know if everything is ok and we can end all the deception!!! X

littleostrich · 26/01/2018 12:51

Hi all, I'm new to the thread - a very clear BFP this morning! If all goes well this will be our second baby, due 28th September according to LMP. Feeling a bit shocked!
