Hey everyone I thought I'd start a thread for September babies!

I've found out I was pregnant yesterday which was amazing! I'm a first time mum so I'm new to all of this, conceived cycle 2.

When should I contact GP to confirm pregnancy, has anyone got any advice this early on?

Anyone else found their nausea get slightly better some days? I have had it so bad over the last week but this morning not as intense I always worry when symptoms change.

Waiting on DH getting out of the shower then heading for scan, so nervous

I was only feeling sick dpo 8/9 ... this morning it's here full force ... I'm 15 dpo today 🤢

Good morning ladies.
Hope all goes well snowy1981.
My nausea is better this morning. Almost nonexistent. Have enjoyed chilling on bed instead of rushing to loo to be sick. Feeling alot better at the moment.

Everything went great this morning, measuring 6+2 so 1 day out based on my conception date, but then I ovulated late in evening so i’m not surprised by that. Heartbeat was flickering away at me. Am waiting on train to work so will post pic when I get to my office

Morning! Congratulations everyone - it seems to have been a really successful month! I’m tentatively posting on here even though I promised myself I wouldn’t (or tell ovia I had a positive test... or download the pregnancy app - failed at these too) but felt odd just lurking!! Had a chemical last month so being cautious! Attached pics - top is 13dpo last month, bottom is 12dpo this month so hoping the darker line earlier is a good sign! Symptoms so far are intermittent sore boobs, occasional cramps but not as much as last one, loose bathroom trips as lots have mentioned and waves of nausea! I just called my doctor surgery and told the receptionist I'm pregnant and need to arrange a booking appointment. She didn't ask any questions just gave me the next available appointment which is the 7th feb. I'll be 7+6 by my dates. Can't wait!

@snowy1982 that's brilliant news bet your relieved, when I went for my scan tho they said they could only measure weeks not days which was weird and lots of people on here have put 6 weeks 2 days for example for there scans. Is your next one at 12 weeks? I was offered another one at 8 weeks which is next Monday so nervous 😬

@helen290, I conceived with IUI so my scan today was with IUI clinic, they like to do the early scan. I am still waiting on my official appointments to come through. They did tell me in clinic this morning I can have another scan if I want, so I am going to wait until my appointments come through and see how long I actually have to wait for 12 week scan, if it seems too long I might go back to the clinic

And yes I am so relieved, midwife (she did the scan and all my treatments before) said everything looked as good as we could want

Morning all ☺️ Glad your scan went well @snowy1982 I feel nauseous this morning after having a free day yesterday.

Called the doctor this morning to register with a midwife so now waiting for the call to hopefully arrange an early scan. It’s all getting real now!

I had an early scan yesterday morning, thought I was 7 weeks yesterday & she said around 6, everything was where it should be & there was a heartbeat!

I have my 12 week scan date for 16th Feb, hopefully my CVS test will be around the same date so we can really get a good idea whether this is all going to be OK or not... I feel so much better for having had yesterday's scan though.

Booking in appointment with midwife is tomorrow afternoon.

Apart from feeling absolutely exhausted & bloated so much I look 6 months pregnant, let alone 6 weeks, I feel OK otherwise so far (touch wood).

@Katz I'm only 11dpo. Last time I got to 5 weeks. Got a GP appt today and hoping I can get my bloods done to make sure hcg is good and increasing. I'm a nervous wreck!

@Brownbear84, I also suffer with migraines and I've had 2 in the last week since I found out after having them fairly under control for the last few months so I think it might be hormonal? Hope you feel better soon

Hello everyone, thought I would start posting here as I couldn't hold myself back. I have been reading the posts on this forums for a while (since last Thursday to be precise).

Last Thursday 11th January, took the first pregnancy test of my life only to get BFP. (Went on to take 5-6 tests since then). Its my first time, first pregnancy and we are so excited. I also feel a little too anxious as well worrying if all would go fine.

I have an appointment with a midwife this Thursday. But I am only 5weeks pregnant so she wouldn't entertain me much I know. My due date is mostly like 19th September 2018 (DH birthday on the same day!!!!!)

Have had noooo symptoms whatsoever except for the period like pain around or since 1 week before the time i was expecting my periods (11th January). I do get occasional mild cramps in lower abdomen and lower back. And clear watery discharge is too frequent now.( which I used to get mostly before getting my periods) TMI! I know.. Is there anything to worry about so far? Any encouragement would be much too appreciated.

So comforting to read all the posts here. Fingers crossed truly for alllll of us!!
