Hey everyone I thought I'd start a thread for September babies!

I've found out I was pregnant yesterday which was amazing! I'm a first time mum so I'm new to all of this, conceived cycle 2.

When should I contact GP to confirm pregnancy, has anyone got any advice this early on?

Wonder if you're in the same place as me @overseastepmom - don't want to out myself on here so may pm you

Katsanddogs · 12/01/2018 20:56

How bad are everyone's cramps? I dreamt that I had a mc earlier and now got bad cramps like af pains. Really panicking I'm going to lose this one too 😢

ThorsMistress · 12/01/2018 21:00

@Katsanddogs I have been having light cramps now for a few days. I can’t remember having them with DS but it was 6 years ago! It’s always a worry Sad

snowy1982 · 12/01/2018 21:02

@katsanddogs, my cramps as worrying me a tad as well. At beginning they were very light and fairly consistent. In the last couple days they have changed, having very few cramps but the ones I am having are stronger. Am actually quite panicky tonight, having a lot of watery discharge (hadn’t had that since last week), boobs seem to have stopped being tender as day has gone on so the changes are worrying me

Katsanddogs · 12/01/2018 22:14

Sorry you're going through it too snowy. It's so scary. My friend has managed to calm me down and it actually feels a lot better now so I think a lot of it was in my head.
I've had a constant mild cramp for about a week which I haven't worried about.

Funkyemzie · 12/01/2018 22:52

I'll join this one. 5 weeks today, quite crampy though and just a bit nauseous. Been to see docs today as I'm high risk due to pre-eclampsia and PPH in my last pregnancy (10 years ago). Just trying to chill and go with the flow but the worry is always there isn't it!

ThorsMistress · 13/01/2018 14:17

Anyone else have nausea that comes and goes?

Felt awful this morning and couldn’t stop retching. Had a sleep and I don’t now feel sick at all. I remember being sick with DS but it was constant!

FluffySavage · 13/01/2018 15:03

Yep, I'm still getting the on/off nausea. Seems to be worse in the evenings for me. Is anyone else utterly exhausted? I feel like I could hibernate at the moment!

Hardheadedwoman39 · 13/01/2018 15:12

No matter how much I sleep I'm exhausted, it's so hard as people think I'm ill and I can't say!

I have nausea which comes and goes - eating seems to help but it's rumbling away most of the time. I had HG with my previous two pregnancies so am hoping that doesn't develop Confused

snowy1982 · 13/01/2018 15:26

My nausea comes and goes too, it is usually worse in the evening, although as time is going on it is coming in the mornings as well.

I am also exhausted all the time

niclw · 13/01/2018 15:29

I'm exhausted too. Have just woken up from a nap and not planning on moving from the sofa for the rest of the day

Flamingo84 · 13/01/2018 15:49

So exhausted too. Going to bed at 9pm and trying to rest in the day. Had to go to Dr as my glands in neck and groin had flared up too. Did a urine test and my white blood cell count is high so she sent it to the lab along with some blood tests. She thinks I’m fighting off an infection but we couldn’t figure out where. My blood pressure was on the low end (it’s normally perfect) too. Have been feeling nauseous but if I eat something every 2 hours it passes.
Feeling a bit sorry for myself! I’m ready for that pregnancy glow to appear any time now!

bitzy12 · 13/01/2018 15:53

Anyone else constantly hungry but gone off every food and feel sick at the thought at eating anything. But eating actually does make you feel slightly better even though you really don't want to eat it....

I wouldn't mind so much if there was something I actually fancied to eat but there isn't. Dh really wants spag Bol tonight which is usually my favourite but defo not at the minute....the thought of even making it isn't an option.

I haven't been sick yet but usually have hypermesis and feel any day could be the day it starts.

zooz · 13/01/2018 16:19

Can I join? Got my BFP today. Due DC #2 at the end of Sept Grin

Symptoms so far have been slightly tingly boobs, tiredness and increased CM.

ThorsMistress · 13/01/2018 16:23

Congratulations @zooz

It’s good to hear it’s not just me. I had a nap earlier as I was so exhausted and I do feel like I could sleep again! I do feel better after I’ve eaten but I can’t face anything sweet. It’s all savoury!

polkadotpixie · 13/01/2018 17:52

@bitzy12 I've completely gone off food, even chocolate which is not like me at all!

Katsanddogs · 13/01/2018 18:47

Good to see we all seem to be going through the same things! No matter how much sleep i get it's just not enough. Regularly nauseas and retching too. I'm only just over 4 weeks and so far have managed to puke in a hospital toilet (whilst at work on a transfer, at least it didn't happen in the ambulance), a car park bin and inside my sleeve (really don't know how I managed that one!). The next couple of months are going to be lots of fun 😆
About to go to the MIL for dinner, she's constant with offering glasses of wine and knows i had a mc so she's probably going to guess.

OverseastepMom · 13/01/2018 19:10

11.5 hours sleep and an hours nap this afternoon and only 6 1/2 weeks! I could sleep for England!

Scoobysue10 · 13/01/2018 21:14

Well I wish I could sleep.

Not sleeping very well and waking every morning before 5am to be sick a couple of times.
My sickness is worse in the mornings.
I slept from 9pm- 1.20 am this morning. Then in and out of sleep to wake just before 5am for my morning ritual of throwing up.
Actually have more energy than before I was pregnant although I am lagging mid afternoon due to tiredress of not getting enough sleep.
Worked 12hrs today and have another 12hr shift tomorrow.
I really hate this feeling sick business don't like it ato all.
Am dehydrated as not been drinking enough this past wk. But habe managed to drink a lot more today than I have been.

Brownbear84 · 13/01/2018 21:18

Got a BFP today! Had no symptoms except cramping but Omg my boobs tonight are absolutely killing me 😲😲

OverseastepMom · 13/01/2018 21:30

@scoobysue10
Feel bad for writing my post now. Take care of yourself & hope your sickness passes soon.

samanthajonespr · 13/01/2018 21:59

I've just had my bfp so may I cautiously optimistically join? According to my dates, my EDD is 26th September. Having a few spots of brown discharge which I'm really hoping is implantation, but terrified after a miscarriage in July
Good luck everybody
Smile

zooz · 13/01/2018 22:15

Same due date as me @samanthajonespr Smile fingers crossed all is okay for you.

Brownbear84 · 13/01/2018 22:41

My EDD is September 24th quite glad after having two June babies xxx

snowy1982 · 14/01/2018 08:51

So, I really hope I am just overreacting, but was in bed last night and sneezed and got this awful pain right across my lower abdomen. Pain only lasted as long as the sneeze so it was barely there at all, but was very sore at the time. I am being ridiculous to think I may have dislodged the little bean Sad
