Hey everyone I thought I'd start a thread for September babies!

I've found out I was pregnant yesterday which was amazing! I'm a first time mum so I'm new to all of this, conceived cycle 2.

When should I contact GP to confirm pregnancy, has anyone got any advice this early on?

I am also due 1st September by the calculator Llondbol.
My cramping has stopped now middle of wk 6.
Going to see if I can get some anti sickness bands. They helped when pregnant with #2. Only been sick the once this morning but just hate feeling sick which I have had on and off all dayour so hoping the bands will help.
Also not drinking enough and don't want to end up with a UTI.
Hate this sicky part.

Chloepell96 · 10/01/2018 02:14

Hi new to this and currently 5 weeks guesstimate around 13th Sept, Also a huge congratulations to all!

So excited but so nervous! Previous mc in November 2015 at 8-9 weeks.

Don't feel pregnant at all in this pregnancy where as last time I knew I was pregnant without testing.

normal symptoms of tiredness, sore/growth boobs, mild cramping, frequent urination, basically everything apart from sickness this time.

Been to docs and been referred to midwife so it's just a waiting game for apps. Can't help but be worried to look at that little screen with no heartbeat again.

Anyone with 1 previous mc then had a normal healthily pregnancy...??

Thanks!x

So nice currently drinking iced cold water.
Have only been drinking black tea and coke this past wk as couldn't stomach anything else.
But just got back from school run and really facied some ice cold water.

snowy1982 · 10/01/2018 09:41

Is anyone else seriously exhausted?? I am barely able to function at the minute it’s so bad. I have coeliac disease and before it was diagnosed my main symptom was extreme fatigue and I feel the exact same way now

TeaVee · 10/01/2018 09:42

Hey, I've just found out I'm pregnant this week, nurse reckons 2-4 weeks. Kinda just guessing really.
I'm just wondering if anyone here conceived with clomids help and have had any localised tenderness on one side?

Katsanddogs · 10/01/2018 10:19

I'm completely exhausted too! Starting on night shifts tonight, don't really know how well that's going to go!
Any tips for morning sickness? I'm only 3+6 but been really nauseas for over a week and spent all morning vomming today. Very happy to have these symptoms after wanting this pregnancy for so long and having a mc in october but need to hide it at work for a bit longer! I work in an ambulance too so can't be nipping off to the toilet

Mrsw200 · 10/01/2018 15:20

Hi everyone
I got my bfp last Sunday after ttc for 8 months. Completely overwhelmed and terrified but very happy. Can't actually believe it, the most surreal thing ever. LMP was 22nd October but had negatives before Xmas, assuming I ovulated extremely late although this was the first month I've had absolutely no ovulation symptoms. I have an appointment with the midwife Friday morning as it's difficult to say how far along I actually am. Therefore I am assuming September! Xxx

Hardheadedwoman39 · 10/01/2018 15:42

I was referred to the early pregnancy unit as I had a bleed on Sunday night. They did an ultrasound and everything is fine - I'm 5weeks 6 days and they saw a heartbeat!

They put the slight bleed down to further implantation - in case it happens to any of you (I hope not it's horrible)

Bibijayne · 10/01/2018 15:48

I am so tired all the time at the moment. Roughly 5w.

snowy1982 · 10/01/2018 15:52

@hardheadedwoman39, so glad your scan went well and it’s also so heartening to know you saw heartbeat so early. I have my scan on Monday and will be 6 + 3 so am worrying about heartbeat

Helen290 · 10/01/2018 16:04

Hey guys can I join I am 6 weeks 4 days I am due on the 1st September, I had my early scan on Monday and I saw a heart beat which is awesome and I have another scan in 2 weeks feeling happy but still worried due to MC in the past
I am tired but the worst thing is now I have morning sickness more like all day sickness yesterday was awful I couldn't sleep I felt so sick anyone else feeling the same? I have tried fizzy drinks worked for one day but now they repulse me I can't stand anything sweet! 🙈 bit better today but still having on abs off nausea and this morning was awful I was actually sick 😩, any tips or advice I would be great full 🙂.

Llondbol · 10/01/2018 16:18

Congratulations @Scoobysue10 !
@snowy1982 I feel the same - so tired 😴

I've had pink discharge Monday and today so trying not to worry, but it's tough - I've got anxiety disorder so it makes it all the more tricky 😫 Going to see the doctor tomorrow if it carries on - I've read a lot about it being normal but I think I could do with the reassurance. Anyone else had experience of this?

Helen290 · 10/01/2018 16:39

@Llondbol I would try not to worry i know that's so hard as I would be the same, I have heard some people can have spotting, you have your scan tomorrow so you will know soon not too long to wait I hope it goes well for you 🤞🏻.

Helen290 · 10/01/2018 16:39

Sorry your seeing the doctor tomorrow not a scan

PinkyPromise77 · 10/01/2018 16:57

Ohhhh glad all is ok Hardheadedwoman39 and sorry to hear about your scare!

snowy1982 I’m going to have mine at 6 weeks 4 days and a bit worried about heartbeat too... let me know how yours go ok? When do you have it? X

snowy1982 · 10/01/2018 17:12

It’s next Monday (15th) @pinkypromise77

Llondbol · 10/01/2018 18:13

Thanks @Helen290 xxx Doctor is amazing and managed to fit me in just now so they've referred me for a scan next week. Good to have a bit of reassurance - they checked my belly and said it's nice and soft which is good, and heart rate good; both would suggest not ectopic so that's something. He said more than likely some implantation bleeding but a scan will put my mind at ease x

GlastoFairy1 · 10/01/2018 20:21

@polkadotpixie I also had a HSG and conceived second cycle after nearly 3 years trying Smile I found it pretty painful but clearly worth it! 5+2 today

samb1979 · 10/01/2018 20:43

Llondbol it does put your mind at rest having that reassurance. I'm 6w 2 days and I've just come home from a private scan just to put my mind at rest that all was ok. I was suffering from really bad implantation pain to the point where the pain was no where near period like pain and almost made me pass out New Year's Day. Doctor said all was fine and didn't think I needed a scan but after waiting over 4 years to conceive I just needed to believe it myself. I saw a little flutter of the heartbeat today. It looked like a blob on the screen with something flickering, but it's our blob. We made that blob, it's a bit real now. DH is sat currently looking at pictures of the blob smiling. My life (dare I say it) is looking a bit more positive 😊

Mrsssmith11 · 10/01/2018 22:27

Hello ladies,

I just found out on Saturday that I'm pregnant too. Reckon I'm due 16th September. Second baby, my little girl is 3.5.

I haven't even bothered to contact dr surgery yet, will phone at the end of next week, I'll be almost 6 weeks by then. I know dr won't do anything and I'll be told to arrange my booking in appointment with MW at 8 weeks.

Congratulations everyone

Mrsssmith11 · 10/01/2018 22:32

@katsanddogs try to eat little and often, don't let yourself get hungry. I felt worse when my tummy was empty. I had a packet of rich tea biscuits at the side of my bed and ate one as soon as I opened my eyes. Stopped me retching every morning.

snowy1982 · 10/01/2018 23:31

So was at DH’s uncles wake all evening there and everyone was eating chicken curry, the smell was making me feel so ill, had to go stand outside in the freezing fog so I didn’t vomit everywhere

polkadotpixie · 11/01/2018 00:23

@GlastoFairy1 I found the HSG quite painful too. I think it must have cleared the crap out of my tubes for sure which is why it was painful for me when most people say it isn't. Obviously did the trick though! 😊

Still seems so odd to actually be pregnant! My head is still in LTTTC mode, I think I need to see the baby to believe it!

Scoobysue10 · 11/01/2018 07:09

Morning sickness rearing it's ugly head this morning.
Been sick twice so far this morning.
Started wearing travel sickness bands last night, obviously not helping with this pregnancy.
Not sure if i might have a UTI that's making me feel worse. As I really haven't been drinking alot this past wk. Not back at work till tomorrow afternoon so can't check my urine. Thinking I might try and get appointment at Dr's. Don't want to be like this all wkend if it is a UTI.

needahugbug · 11/01/2018 07:53

Hi everyone can I join? Just found out we’re having a September baby. This will be my 2nd as have and who’s 14 months. Anyone else have a small age gap?
