Hi ladies,

as I know there have been several early birds who had a BFP with due date in July, I thought I’d set up a thread here.

Age: 31 (in a week 😫)
Baby: #1
TTC: 1.5 cycles
BFP: 10dpo on 22.10.17
Due date according to OV: 04.07.2018

Yay @lgh05 we're all here for you! You're pregnant! I've also joined the July 2018 ante natal group... Think there's a lot more people there but I'll be checking both 😁 xx

Peanutty86 · 27/10/2017 17:39

I didn’t realise that’s where July 2018 group would be, that’s why I created it here. I’m such a netmums newbie.... 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hehe that's ok @Peanutty86 I wouldn't have known had someone not mentioned it in a thread.... 🙂glad this was here!!

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 17:45

Yeah me too I am glad this was here! Keep it going to see how everyone gets on TTC xx

Peanutty86 · 27/10/2017 17:46

@Hulaballoo me too!!! Don’t know whatsoever wouldn’t done without you guys!

@lgh05 I had a look on their website, unfortunately they aren’t in my area. Been to the GP and the receptionist said fill in this form and the midwife will call you Tuesday to make an appointment.

Ok..
Really fancy takeaway pizza (veggie toppings)... Really bad? Or should I just cook what I've planned... Lentils and rice the healthy option? Stranger things back on Netflix and fancied a treat... 😳

Peanutty86 · 27/10/2017 18:10

Lol I really fancied a pizza last Saturday and didn’t even know I was pregnant then!!!
Was going to get a Wagamama takeaway...? Husband is going out so got free choice! But cannot be bothered to cook whatsoever.

No I can't either.... 😕 plus my Headteacher just answered a question about appraisal at work (that I'd emailed about) in a really horrible way ... Almost burst into tears...omg I need to get a grip! I'm a bit pissed off now....

18mnthsandcounting · 27/10/2017 18:28

Are you ladies eating healthy a lot of the time? I’m finding it difficult but trying my best!!!

18mnthsandcounting · 27/10/2017 18:28

And have you all booked your first midwife appointment?

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 18:35

I'm trying to eat healthily but I've had too many nuts and lots of Jacobs cream crackers.... And half a box of matchmakers! 😁and definitely pizza tonight. I haven't booked my me yet. They don't usually see us in this area until 6-8 weeks...

I'm tempted to tell dh tonight... Got an idea off Pinterest ... It was done with donuts but can do with pizza box ... On the inside I could write "eat up! My mummy doesn't want to be the only one with a belly" 😂

Winterfellismyhome · 27/10/2017 19:19

Ive booked in to see the dr next week and started taking pregnacare Smile

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 19:40

Eek caved telling dh later

@Hulaballoo oh wow it’s at 2-3 weeks already!!! Mine was at 1-2 on Tuesday so I’ll wait until Tuesday and hopefully it’ll say 2-3 then too....

Becparks · 27/10/2017 20:18

That’s great @hulaballoo you’re the same as me!
I’ve eaten crap for the past 24 hours....

Been away with work all week and made healthy choices there - im veggie and usually eat loads of greens a stuff....but I’ve had...

Dominoes last night.....chocolate spread on toast for breakfast, left over pizza for lunch and McDonald’s for dinner!!! I am now having a alcohol free beer (which was disgusting till I put lime juice in it!)

I just had three rice cakes and houmus to try and make up for it a bit!

Gonna try and get back on the veggies tomorrow!!!!

Thank god for pregnacare vits?

What’s this other group then? Don’t want to left here on my tod 😂

Winterfellismyhome · 27/10/2017 20:35

Congrats @Hulaballoo Cake

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 21:05

@Becparks just go on the antenatal board and it is one of the top ones x

Becparks · 27/10/2017 21:12

@lgh05 found it! As I know you’ve seen :) thanks

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 23:44

Thank you everyone! Told DH who was happy! I did it in the pizza box lid...😁 then I gave him the digi. He went straight for his pizza so it took him a while to see the message! 😂

lgh05 · 28/10/2017 06:47

So I finally got my big booming BFP this morning. I have been waiting for this little one to show up on a digital test for what feels like forever (probably only 48 hours). As I don't trust my own eyes when it comes to the lines I started dreaming that I was making it up even though DH could see them. But here it is!!!

Peanutty86 · 28/10/2017 06:53

@Hulaballoo aww that’s such a nice idea! I had a message in the box I gave him. Do you think he read it? No!! 😂

@lgh05 Yay that’s such a great feeling isn’t it? I opened a CB this morning, had my pee ready on a cup, then thought you stupid woman, wait until Tuesday and hopefully it’ll show 2-3 weeks and then a week later 3+.

Still struggling with insomnia, had a nap after work yesterday but husband came home at 2:30 or so and my night was basically over. (Will get a spare room ready for when he comes home late!) The wave of nausea hit me yesterday, hope it’s not a daily thing now, didn’t expect it so early. Also terribly bloated.

@Hulaballoo that's so cute how did he react??

@Peanutty86 sorry you have started feeling a bit rubbish, I remember feeling relaxed as soon as I got a bit of sickness with my last pregnancy, that changed pretty quickly when I was fed up of feeling rough and prayed it would go away, sea bands were a life saver for me when I felt sick I lived in them till 12 weeks (although you have to hide them as it's a pregnancy give away). With regards to the insomnia I unfortunately get it all pregnancy, and I knew a lot of people that do, I think it's Gods way of preparing us to be up at stupid hours for when the little one arrives!!! Haha!

When is everyone planning on telling people? I don't know what to do as I will defo be showing by the time we have had the 12 weeks scan but then don't want to tell people too early, we also want to tell our daughter first but as she is 4 once she knows everyone will know! Haha!

Peanutty86 · 28/10/2017 07:14

@lgh05 I don’t think it’s a
bad yet, I’ve not actually been sick, just feeling weirdly sick. But yes that’s true, I was so worried about hcg not building up properly, so yesterday I thought great, I can feel a new symptom! The strange cramping has mostly gone and for a couple of days it felt like getting my period which panicked me. Good call though, will get some, thanks.

I’ll tell me family in two weeks when I see them in person. Husband wants to wait until after the 12 week scan to tell his family. I know it’s only to protect them from disappointment but I’m a bit like ‘hey, they’re my family in England, my parents and siblings aren’t here so who am I supposed to talk to? Surely I would have to tell them if something went wrong anyway?’ (Bet his sister clocked on it already anyway, she knows we’re trying and very quickly noticed I wasn’t having alcohol the other day, didn’t offer me any and I only ate what I’m allowed. Well apart from one thing which was THE BOMB!)

My best friend knows, she’s known before my husband. (Was the same when she was pregnant.)
Literally dreading to tell work. Really really scared!

What about you?

Hulaballoo · 28/10/2017 07:57

He liked the message, but said I'd been acting funny so thought something was going on 😂 same about telling people.... I told mum in law early last time...At 6w but had mmc and baby had died at 5/6w... And told bf at 5w...Now I'm feeling superstitious and thinking of waiting longer... I don't know. I want to tell my daughters this time too,I didn't last time and think it may help keep calm at home (they squabble a lot)... But don't want the news out... They're 7&9 .
I'm hoping to tell work at 11 weeks.. I'm a teacher so that'll be the last week of term... I have no TA though so alone in the classroom a lot so again not sure when to say. Headteacher wasn't sympathetic with mmc news...I had op over Xmas holidays. It was just back to work as normal, they'd had MC before-a few so just saw it as normal. Don't think they'd take well to the news this time.

Feeling queasy this morning but my Dd kneed my flabby tummy in bed for morning hugs, don't think it was low enough to affect down there...

Appetite has gone a bit...I don't know what I want to eat, it's like nothing's appealing....😐 also nervous about booking doctors...argh
