Hi ladies,

as I know there have been several early birds who had a BFP with due date in July, I thought I’d set up a thread here.

Age: 31 (in a week 😫)
Baby: #1
TTC: 1.5 cycles
BFP: 10dpo on 22.10.17
Due date according to OV: 04.07.2018

Hey everyone! Congrats to all the early bird BFPs! My Clear Blue digital test came up as positive yesterday morning, AF due this Sunday. Feel like I have period cramps and keep expecting to see blood when I wipe. Getting this weird bubbling sensation in my tummy and the odd twinge in my side too. The long wait to the 12-week mark is nerve-wracking!! I keep thinking I'm not actually pregnant.

@hulaballoo I’d so love. Home birth, but what happens if my placenta was stuck again or started haemorrhaging like before? I guess they just rush you in right? Anyway plenty of time to decide!

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 12:54

@Becparks yes that's true ... You may be considered high risk so they wouldn't allow. I know I had an injection to help with the placenta to come out. I had 2 midwives... Or hospital is 15 mins away in normal traffic... I think you need to follow your gut. If I'd had that @Becparks I probably wouldn't opt for home birth. 😥

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 12:55

Ooh not sure how I did all the bold! Congrats @DoubleEspresso22 😁 it's all a bit surreal... Still waiting to tell dh...

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 13:50

Argh clear blue have arrived...Two pack... Argh to do it or not? Joining in with pissing on £10

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 13:51

Now I have 2 frer and 2 Cb digi...Hiding in my drawer...

DoubleEspresso22 · 27/10/2017 13:56

@Hulaballoo, I wouldn't be able to resist!!

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 13:57

I don't think I can...I was going to wait to tell dh on my birthday when my af is sort of due....(Monday) but they only show for 24hrs...

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 14:30

Think I'm going to have to wait 😼

Peanutty86 · 27/10/2017 14:32

@Hulaballoo that’s why you’ve got a two pack 😉 one today/tomorrow, one Monday.

Hehe 😁damn just wee'd.... Fought the urge with the ic. Going to do it in the morning. My niece has a bday party tomorrow and my SIL is expecting in January/February... So they'll be lots of talk about her bump etc... We found out on my July due date (mmc due date) horrible. But I can go in positive tomorrow... 😁

Becparks · 27/10/2017 15:11

@hulaballoo bless you. It’s so tricky isn’t it!?

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 15:34

@Hulaballoo I have a goodie draw too! I've literally spend £60 on pregnancy test in a week- totally ashamed haha!

People's opinions on peeing on the stick or peeing in a cup?

Winterfellismyhome · 27/10/2017 15:54

I use a cup lol. Just for accuracy 😁

Peanutty86 · 27/10/2017 16:09

Always cup. Always.

Right I just took a FRER it's a tad darker than Thursday would have liked a more booming result but hey ho! The comparison pic is the cheap Tesco one I took this morning it pretty much looked like this when I took it but is is now 9 hours old.

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 16:17

They both look like strong positives to me 😁😁🎉 yay when is af due?

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 16:30

It was due today so I expected a strong positive 😔

Somethininthewater · 27/10/2017 16:31

Look ok to me!

Peanutty86 · 27/10/2017 16:32

YESSSSSS!!!!! A pink line is a pink line.

I am not sure at what point il allow myself to get excited about it, it doesn't feel real!

Somethininthewater · 27/10/2017 16:38

But it is! It’s scary waiting for your first scan, but it’s definitely ok to get excited now!🤗

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 16:56

I'd get excited @lgh05 just enjoy. When I had my mmc, one thing I regretted was all the time I spent worrying rather than just enjoying each minute, I know it's easier said than done 😕 but maybe start chatting to your little bean...? 😁

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 16:57

That may be just me re-reading that... I've started saying the odd thing to this little over like.... "Those are your sisters being nosy..." Lol crazy me hehe

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 16:59

@Hulaballoo you are totally right. I have stepped out and referred myself to the one to one midwives! As I am pregnant and I need to start acting like it! And breathe!
