Hi ladies,

as I know there have been several early birds who had a BFP with due date in July, I thought I’d set up a thread here.

Age: 31 (in a week 😫)
Baby: #1
TTC: 1.5 cycles
BFP: 10dpo on 22.10.17
Due date according to OV: 04.07.2018

Fab news @Peanutty86!!!

If my AF was due yesterday what week should a CB show 1-2 weeks or 2-3? Going to buy some of amazon, but not sure when to test as I was to do it at 2-3 weeks and then Get the 3+

Hulaballoo · 28/10/2017 09:40

Yay @Peanutty86 🎉that's great! I'm not sure @lgh05... Technically my af is due Monday or possibly after...I got 2-3. I think 2-3 is when you're 4-5 weeks so probably on day af is due it v would be 2-3 x

Winterfellismyhome · 28/10/2017 10:12

My AF was due Wednesday and i got 2-3 on that day @lgh05

18mnthsandcounting · 28/10/2017 10:14

I’m also feeling bloated not a nice feeling but worth it 😊 we’re not telling anybody until 12 week scan this time after having mmc in June. It is hard though not telling people! We’re planning to tell everyone on Christmas Day I’ll be 12 weeks on the 20th xx

lgh05 · 28/10/2017 10:38

@18mnthsandcounting yeah I feel super bloated which isn't great! Just trying to keep this pregnancy as active and as healthy as possible!

Yeah I am 12 weeks just before Christmas so that would be nice to keep it quiet till then just not sure we could.

lgh05 · 28/10/2017 10:39

@Winterfellismyhome @Hulaballoo so I should show 2-3 when I take a CB then. I shall order those tonight! I've taken 10 test this pregnancy so far I took ONE with my DD what's happened to me!

Hulaballoo · 28/10/2017 15:31

Hehe @lgh05 yeah I think 2-3 if you're about 4-5 weeks pregnant. 😁 I'm feeling bloaty too. A few cramps today and cm... But nothing major just mild crampiness. Yeah I think I'm 12w on the 24th... So planning either a Christmas reveal or maybe a new year's, depends how much I'm showing. Wink

18mnthsandcounting · 28/10/2017 15:46

I’ve alao had a few cramps feels a bit like a stitch also down my right hand side? I’m gonna take another cb test in a week or so just to see if it’s changed x

Winterfellismyhome · 28/10/2017 17:06

Well I irrationally cried earlier at a shift swap without my permission so I guess this is it for the next nine months lol BlushBlush

Just joined Mumsnet having seen July2018 Babies. How exciting! I am due on the 1st July- my husband and I were very lucky to become pregnant after 3 months of trying.

Just wondering, is anyone thinking of telling their work colleagues early? I am having terrible morning (all day!) sickness already, plus aches and pains along with a general feeling of being unwell. I will definitely tell my manager as she lovely and needs to know why I've taken sick days. However, we want to do the wait till 12 week scan thing before telling family (I have only told a few close friends so far!). I didn't think it would be this hard to keep it a secret!

Also, is anyone paying for an early scan? I have been quite anxious and I don't know if I can wait another 7 weeks!

18mnthsandcounting · 28/10/2017 23:56

I’m also feeling anxious I’m gonna request an early one but if I can’t get one then I may pay for one (had previous mmc) this is my first baby. We’re not telling anybody this time round until we’ve had first scan but it’s gonna be hard!!

Whatsgoingon4 · 29/10/2017 08:28

Hey I only found out yesterday due on 5 July so I’m only one -two weeks

JB1983 · 29/10/2017 08:31

I think we are going to have an early scan then another at 10 weeks with harmony due to what happened last time.
I had to tell my mum yesterday as we were on a girls day out and wouldn't have been able to hide not drinking, but I would tell her if things went wrong again anyway.

Sorry to the ladies feeling a bit grim already.

emigems · 29/10/2017 09:48

Hi everyone,

so excited to have found this group. My boyfriend is also v. cautious about things, but I am already wanting to google everything and get prepared!

Age:33
Baby:#1
TTC: 1cycle
BFP: Monday 23rd Oct
Due: 3rd July

I've been having lots of the same symptoms you've already mentioned - sore boobs, peeing all the time, a bit of cramping. Before I tested, I also got the metallic taste in my mouth. no sickness yet thank god.

Not saying anything to my family yet as my sister has just had a really premature baby, which is causing understandably a lot of stress, so I want to make sure we have a first scan with a heartbeat before saying anything.

emigems · 29/10/2017 09:48

Oh, does anyone have any tips on excuses for not drinking. I'm changing jobs, and will have my leaving party next week, so it's going to be weird that I'm not drinking.
I'd love to hear any ideas!

C83TUR · 29/10/2017 10:19

@emigems can you use the excuse that you have to drive? I have a girly weekend planned for Nov and I'm also trying to think of some believable excuses for not drinking. We've already booked the train and my friends know that we were going to be trying for a baby so I might just say I am off alcohol it because it affects fertility. If i'm terribly sick i might just say I am not feeling up to it and blame it on a virus. Maybe you could say you are still hungover from the night before?

Becparks · 29/10/2017 10:22

OMG help ladies I am like a mentalist! It’s like I have the worst pmt ever. I’m irritable and emotional 😭 keep snapping at oh - been feeling like I can’t stand him/he doesn’t understand etc. I’ve lost it with the kids twice this weekend too. Next minute I’m crying tears of happiness! Wtf!??
Also offset Clearblue digi from Amazon last night and peed in a cup this morning. Waiting for them to be delivered - want to accrateslh see when goes to 3+ to try and ge try due date right. I am obsessed right? 🤣

Hulaballoo · 29/10/2017 11:24

Argh seven seas or pregnacare?

Becparks · 29/10/2017 11:26

Pregnacare for me!

emigems · 29/10/2017 11:37

Thank you @C83TUR for the suggestions. Sadly I don't have a car - live in London so never drive. I might have to go with the stomach bug / virus thing. Thanks for the suggestions!
I hope you have a great time with your friends this weekend!

emigems · 29/10/2017 11:39

@GPolly91 so sorry to hear you're feeling so awful. I hope it goes well telling your boss. She sounds lovely, so I'm sure it'll be fine!

I was thinking of getting an early scan too. Do you know if you can you just request this at your first maternity appointment?

18mnthsandcounting · 29/10/2017 14:39

They don’t tend to give out early scans unless there’s a problem like bleeding or pain. It depends where you live I suppose, I’m going to try to get an early one as I have a history of mmc but even then they don’t necessarily scan you early. For the not drinking thing I say I’m on medication nobody ever asks me when I say that 😊
