Hi ladies,

as I know there have been several early birds who had a BFP with due date in July, I thought I’d set up a thread here.

Age: 31 (in a week 😫)
Baby: #1
TTC: 1.5 cycles
BFP: 10dpo on 22.10.17
Due date according to OV: 04.07.2018

I am only on week 6 & 4 days [due 18th July], I have nothing to wear due to my bloated stomach; I cant have put that much weight on in a matter of weeks ? I am normally a size 8-10 !

Even my husband said - look at your baby bump > cute but wanted to smack him in the face haha!

So far, I have noticed my boobs are bigger; and I get waves of sickness in the day - I am eating more to combat this (but healthy food) !

I have my scan next week :-) cant wait !!!

I am a twin, and have history of twins in my family - so I am winding my hubby up saying we have two !! haha!

THIS IS MY FIRST (I AM OVER 30) xxx

Somethininthewater · 27/10/2017 09:23

Hahaha. That’s good... think I paid £9 for 2. Sick of thinking about this now, analysing every detail of what’s going on with my body, whether the spotting(which has pretty much stopped now(pale brown gunk)) 🤢 was an early, sketchy period or IB or some other freak of Mother Nature?!

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 09:39

@HELLY0 congratulations on your pregnancy!.

Just curious how you are 6 weeks and your due date is mid July, I am just going into week 4 today and my due date would be the 6th July. Just wondering if I've worked it out wrong now.

HELLY0 · 27/10/2017 09:53

OMG @lgh05 > I realised that I put the wrong date down but didnt know how to edit the post - 18th June > not July !

HELLY0 · 27/10/2017 09:54

@lgh05 - I am rubbish at this haha!!!!! x

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 09:54

Haha it had my doubting my dates then!

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 09:55

Morning ladies! @lgh05 @Somethininthewater keeping everything crossed for you! Hugs too, it's all so nerve wracking. I did ic and positive so I'm just waiting for my Cb digital to arrive and will do that on Monday. As my cycles were a bit all over I'm not really 100% sure when I was due... Between 26-34 day cycles... So I'd either be due today or next week... And ov early... On Cd 10.
I'm trying to put it all out my head and focus on keeping busy and eating healthily. Must make myself exercise a bit. 😕 still waking up naturally at a stupidly early time grrr.

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 09:56

@HELLY0 are you sure you're not in June babies? Maybe posted in the wrong chat?

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 09:56

Oh just finished typing and you guys beat me to it. 😁

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 09:58

Thanks @Hulaballoo bit gutted but think I prepared myself for nothing to show on a digital yet after everything I had read. I have 3 super drug digital test left, hubby is currently in town on the hunt for a FRER (I should have ordered some off amazing)

Becparks · 27/10/2017 10:07

Good luck to both of you. Let us know lgh as soon as you get the frer 🤞🏼
I just used my other cb digi - was meant to wait till after the weekend for. 3+ but couldn’t help myself. Anyway still 2-3 today with 3rd pee of the day! Reckon I’m 5 weeks on Sunday/Monday. Just don’t have strong syamptons yet so keep thinking I’m making it all up! I’ve just been looking at attach to bed cribs. Im into co-sleeping so thought this time I meight invest! I know...it’s early days...but whatevs! :)

Becparks · 27/10/2017 10:09

Oh and just made docs appt for Monday. Want to get a referral to diff Hospital (which has very good reputation for maternity aand where I had my daughter 7 years ago) so I have to make my case now apparently to get correct midwife team.... defo don’t want to go to local it’s got terrible reviews! X

Somethininthewater · 27/10/2017 10:12

I co-slept with mine as was bf. didn’t get a crib though. My friend hired hers

Peanutty86 · 27/10/2017 10:22

My sisters have these cribs and I hope to borrow theirs.
Going to the GP to get a list of midwives after work. I had planned to give birth in Germany with my midwife sister but I think it will be too complicated logistically.... apparently they’re building a midwifery led ward at our local hospital due to open early 2018. So hopefully they’ll be open by July!!

Eek I'm hoping to have another home water birth... Hoping because of my age that they'll let me 😕 had such a wonderful birth with my 2nd... Hoping to be at home again...It was only 2hrs 30mins.. And they say labour goes quicker the more you have 😳 may have no choice to 😁 I think I'm 4 weeks on Monday.. Would that be too soon for Cb digi? My ic looks like this today ?

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 10:38

Ooh I'd love a crib beside bed but I think my room is too narrow. 🙁

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 10:41

I've just done a test on a cheap Tesco and again a very faint positive (it's not an early detection one) so I am going to hold for 4 hours this afternoon and try my FRER.

But a positive is a positive right? 😭

Somethininthewater · 27/10/2017 10:49

Igh... you’re pregnant, honey!! Relax and get excited!xx

Becparks · 27/10/2017 10:51

@hullaballoo I would love a home birth but had retained placenta first time and big time bleeding after second so think bit risky

That’s defo a positive eh? Not too early for cb digi they are from 1 week pst ov roughly I think x

Becparks · 27/10/2017 10:52

@lgh05 yes YOU ARE PREGNANT 🤰🏻 lol otherwise you couldn’t get a line. Let’s see it! 😬

Becparks · 27/10/2017 10:57

@peanutty86 they have one of those at my local hospital all like home from home but such bad ratings - in going for frimley normal Hospital I think. I recognise the head midwife from the YouTube Vida and she’s been there years also I think it’s been awarded the accolade of best maternity in the south before....they were amazing wth my dd birth. First birth was awful. Went to low intervention unit and ended up in slough after cos of complications- was left behind and separated from son for 12 hours. And that’s just the start of it! I was only 22. Never risking that trauma again!!! Long time ago but still haunts me! 😳

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 11:01

Thanks guys! Just want a big booming line so I don't have squint any more! I am saving my pic allowance for later when I post my FRER as I may need to post comparison pics for other people's opinions!

I also want a homebirth much to my DH distress, using one 2 one midwives! Hopefully! My first birth was awful! Forceps induced for 4 days! Just horrid!!!

Peanutty86 · 27/10/2017 11:27

@Hulaballoo looking gooooood!!

@lgh05 blue dye.....! Really hoping you’ll get a clear line on the FRER later. Actually, I know you will.

I find CB digitals don’t work early at all. But again, everybody is different.

I would love a home birth but I don’t think my husband would let me. He’s starting to get overly protective which is already annoying: ‘can you please take the wheelie bin out tomorrow? BUT BE CAREFUL!!’ ‘No you certainly cannot put this stuff up in the loft.’ It wouldn’t be so annoying if he’d do the things instead but like this? No!

@Becparks that sounds awful! I really hope it’ll all work the way you want this time around. 😘

Hulaballoo · 27/10/2017 12:01

Yeah I'm not too convinced clear blue will show... As technically I'm due Monday, going by an average of my cycle days the last 6 months... But if it arrives today I might not be able to resist... Not many symptoms either I don't think @Becparks hoping it's still early days.
Try a pink dye @lgh05 , keep us posted but maybe leave it a day and see?
Yeah my first birth was horrendous that's why I went for home birth 2nd time...I was in labour for 74hrs! So much happened...😳 the only dilemma with our home birth was that we almost didn't get the birth pool filled enough in time 😁
