Hi ladies,

as I know there have been several early birds who had a BFP with due date in July, I thought I’d set up a thread here.

Age: 31 (in a week 😫)
Baby: #1
TTC: 1.5 cycles
BFP: 10dpo on 22.10.17
Due date according to OV: 04.07.2018

Hello, can I join please 😊 I got my BFP today after 5 months of trying, and 1 day late so my due date according to NHS website is 26/7/18! Also very nervous but extremely happy! Have called docs and arranged appointment for week after next. Anyway - I have no idea what’s going on. No alcohol & reduce caffeine is about all I’m up to at the moment! 🙈 Massive congratulations to you all. So exciting!! 🍾

Farrar · 17/11/2017 16:19

July 16th for me!
Which also happens to be the day after my 30th birthday Hmm

Bromeliad · 19/11/2017 18:48

Hi everyone, can I join? I just got my bfp today, I’m 4+1 weeks. Due date is around 29th July.

I’m feeling very nervous about whether it’ll stick and then about telling work if it does. Anyone else feel like they’ll be letting people down?

DebieS · 19/11/2017 21:00

Hi can I join?
I tested today and got 3+ on a CB test. My daughter is only 8months old 🙈 I’m not 100% sure when I conceived as I don’t have normal periods so I’m guessing my due date is July sometime

Tashyliza · 20/11/2017 05:54

HI! Think I fall into this group!
Age: 40 (!)
Baby #: 2
Ttc- 2 months (this time round)
Edd: Friday 13th (!) July

So hello to all you ladies. I'm feeling absolutely rotten this morning. Has anyone else found themselves being woken in the middle of the night with hideous neasea? This happens probably every other night and I don't know what to do about it. I work ft and the thought of going in today is killing me as no one knows yet. Am exhausted and feeling really sick 😵 Anyone else been the same or have any tips? Never had any of this with my DS...😕

Sylv2017 · 20/11/2017 06:49

@bathandpjs totally sympathise on the aches and pains. Feel bad moaning when it should be a happy time but the aches in my lower back are worthy of a good cry!

Rainbowbright17 · 21/11/2017 19:45

Hi Tashyliza

I've been the same as you & I've found having something to eat (biscuit, banana etc) beside my bed helps to soothe my tummy & send me back to sleep (once I've tossed & turned for half an hour!). Hope tonight's a better night for you. x

Tashyliza · 21/11/2017 19:57

Thanks Rainbowbright17. Nice to know that I am not alone! Thanks for the advice. I will take a banana up to bed with me and see if that helps. Was wide awake between 1.30am and 4am this morning. Not even bad neasea, just unable to sleep. Sigh. I'm so exhausted today, I reckon a straight sleep for 8 hours has GOT to be on the cards! Hope it is for you too! X

Rainbowbright17 · 21/11/2017 20:21

@Tashyliza - l could've chatted to you last night as I was awake pretty much the same time as you. I sleep on my tummy normally & for some silly reason I keep waking up & worrying about it even though I have absolutely no bump, so then I'm aware I can't sleep in my tummy & cant get back to sleep. Things can only get more difficult I guess lol. Fingers crossed we both crash out tonight for the whole night as I'm the same as you & totally exhausted. Sweet dreams x

Panoramarama · 21/11/2017 20:22

Hi! 26th July for me! Loads of sympathy for not being able to sleep. What on earth is that about? I think if I don't get a decent night's sleep tonight I might fall asleep at my desk tomorrow. Maybe mother nature is giving us the practice run for those broken nights to come in 9 months!

Am also pretty anxious about what could go wrong. Really need to chill out but don't know how.

Huge congratulations everyone!!

DebieS · 21/11/2017 20:34

@Rainbowbright17
You can sleep on your tummy until you physically can’t no more. I’m a tummy sleeper and was able to do it until 26weeks last time. You will know yourself when you can’t as it’s super uncomfortable.

Is anyone having little symptoms? This time feels completely different to last time

DebieS · 21/11/2017 20:36

@Sylv2017 are you taking anything for your back pains? I’m in agony in the mornings and have to have painkillers to get thru the day.

Rainbowbright17 · 21/11/2017 20:44

Thanks @DebieS I keep trying to tell myself that. I slept on my tummy for a while into my first pregnancy but I think I'm so worried about everything this time (we've lost 2 babies since our first) that I'm panicking over everything. Hopefully now I've heard it from you my head will let me relax & sleep. x

Rainbowbright17 · 21/11/2017 20:50

@Panoramarama I also am concerned with every pain or niggle I get, I think it's natural but would be nice to be in ignorant bliss so we didn't worry about everything! And...to sleep longer than a couple of hours at a time would be amazing! Hoping you sleep better tonight too x

DebieS · 21/11/2017 20:59

@Rainbowbright17 fingers crossed you get a good night sleep. So sorry to hear of your losses. I have had a miscarriage and tried for 10years to have my little girl and then got caught quickly again this time. I must be mad haha x

Panoramarama · 21/11/2017 21:03

@Rainbowbright17 thanks for the kind words. I'm also a tummy sleeper and kept myself awake with the same worry last night! If you don't want to go back to tummy sleeping, I found that putting a pillow next to you or between the knees so it sits against your tummy, kind of feels similar to lying on your front without actually doing so. Anything is worth a shot! Sleep well x

Rainbowbright17 · 21/11/2017 21:12

Thanks @DebieS, I'm so sorry for your loss too it's heartbreaking to go through. Wishing all of us lots of healthy sticky baby dust! I think we all must be mad at times lol. It'll be a wee buddy for your lovely daughter. x

Rainbowbright17 · 21/11/2017 21:15

Awww fab thanks for the tip @Panoramarama I'll try that for sure tonight as it's definitely my comfort for falling asleep. Hope we can all keep each other calm & reassured by airing all our worries & concerns. My pjs are calling...night night lovelies xx

bathandpjs · 21/11/2017 21:23

I’ve had a good day today, only cried once

I don’t feel pregnant today apart from dizziness and my boobs are so sore I can’t fold my arms. I’ve got some comfy bras now and O.M.G it’s the best thing. I can’t see myself giving these up ever!

How is everyone else doing?

Whatsgoingon4 · 21/11/2017 21:50

I slept on my tummy all the way through my last pregnancy the midwife told me not to worry you will wake up in discomfort she also said the only thing to stop you doing was to tie yourself to the bed lol which I never did lol I never woke up in pain or anything just for a other wee my dd was born healthy this was 6 years ago tho x

Panoramarama · 22/11/2017 06:48

Hope everyone struggling with sleep got a better night last night!

I posted another thread about worry and someone recommended a meditation app called Insight Timer. Not usually my thing but I tried it and it's quite a good distraction from the tossing and turning. Did a 5 min sleep exercise which they basically guide you to focus on your breath and identify areas where you're tense, relax the muscles, stop the mind wandering etc. I fell asleep before it ended! That said, woke up 2hrs later for the next 3hrs! But still.

How is everyone else?

Rainbowbright17 · 22/11/2017 09:17

Morning @Panoramarama! Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a go tonight. I slept quite well until 3am & was then awake for the next 2 hours but comparing to the night before that was a good nights sleep. I did find I was a bit breatheless at times & starting to panic so maybe the relaxation will help with that too. I've woken up to Shingles though which doesn't help my anxiety levels for this little one. Doctor assures me it shouldn't cause any problems but I can't stop worrying. Hope you have a good day. x

SparkleSarah22 · 22/11/2017 12:32

Hello all!!

Age: 27
First baby
TTC - 1 month (i feel so lucky)
7 weeks pregnant - due on 8th july

I am soooo excited oh and so hungry and bloated!

DebieS · 22/11/2017 12:45

The morning sickness has started 🤢 how’s everyone feeling today?

Panoramarama · 22/11/2017 16:54

Hi @Rainbowbright17. I'm so sorry to hear about the shingles, they're miserable. Does your routine allow you to take some time out and just do nothing? Hope so. I'm still on a mission to find ways of calming down and accepting the stressful uncertainty of the first trimester. If I get any other good tips, I'll share! X
