Pregnant straight after miscarriage with no period

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience to me. I miscarried at almost 6 weeks on 17th Sept. After waiting a week I did a test and it was negative. I was pretty upset as this was my first pregnancy.

Today, I’ve done a test and it’s showing “Pregnant 2-3 weeks”. Has anyone else had an experience of becoming pregnant straight away again after miscarrying or going through the same now? And was/is all ok?

@Jpascoe1 LH is highest early evening so if you notice the test line getting darker in the morning, in the afternoon hold your wee and don’t drink anything for 4 hours and test again, hopefully in the next few days you will see your test line darker than the control line (or as dark as), my fingers and toes are crossed for you, and for all who trying.

Also, if you download the Premom app, you can upload other manufacturers test strips and it will still work and figure out roughly when your peaking x

I decided to use the strips as I wanted to see if my cycles are back and I actually ovulate, needed the reassurance x

@SLCxxx sorry for late repsonse didn’t realise you replied! Yes I used that app too on others (Amazon bought sticks) weren’t very good tbf I ovulated 3 days later than expected after the miscarriage. This meant a 6 day cut off and I’m pregnant!! I’m shocked and scared I feel like I can’t be happy at the moment and each week is going to be a milestone. I’m 5 weeks tomorrow and I had my miscarriage at 5w+6 so 6 weeks will be a milestone for me.

Hope someone can give me some positivity, I’m pregnant again after my MC in jan with not having a period in between. I’m almost 6 weeks the time when I had my MC before just really anxious x

@Youzanne201 congratulations on your pregnancy I really hope I follow suit, I’m having a interesting time lost baby at 11 weeks found out at 12 week scan was having a mmc had a d&c at 13 weeks. After 5 weeks got my negative test, so expected my period in next few weeks, still nothing took another test negative on 12th March, now been over 2 months in total and still no period, so called epu today to book a consultation to discuss my lack of period she booked me in but said just to take a test to confirm not pregnant, I did as asked (not using first urine of day either) and to my amazement it’s positive as FR know can be extra sensitive so took another clear blue later today and was also positive, can that still be hcg hormones from my miscarriage even though previously had two negatives. I’m so confused in what’s going on. I Darn’t get my hopes up but after reading your message I have some hope.

@Youzanne201 just an update since yesterday I took another two tests this morning and the lines are definitely darker, clear blue is still faint but a clear positive and FR is a strong pink line like when previously got my positive with last pregnancy) called epu and as previously had negatives they said sounds like a new pregnancy to me, so going to book a dating scan in for me, said if I want take another test in few days to check getting darker but yeah sounds positive, Im bricking it but excited but also don’t want to get my hopes up just yet, so fingers crossed keep getting darker over next few days. Come on rainbow.

Morning all. Sorry to hear of people losses. I have been bleeding for two days. Second day has calmed down. I'm meant to be 5wks. Not sure if it's a mc or not. I had a mc at 11 weeks in jan. I've read how people bleed for unknown causes but I'm scared this is a repeat of jan. I dont feel pregnancy more tbh. I have call booked with go and once bleeding stops will call epu. Can I just ask for those who suffered a mc and are now weeks ahead with their pregnancy what supplements or vitamins were you taking pre and after conception please. I had a mc at 11 weeks in Jan so for me I'm scared that this is the same thing even though I've read some ladies bleed for unknown reasons and still have successful pregnancy. I was just gonna ask those that are now weeks into their pregnancy, do you mind sharing what vitamins or supplements you were taking before and after conception please or what did you do differently. Hi I miscarried July 24th at the time I was 9w2d bay stopped at 6 weeks. Few days after my first ultrasound. I been wondering this same question and I've read all the comments congrats to all of you. I'm 5 weeks passed MC and still no period and I'm testing negative to. How long did you guys keep testing etc. I'm waiting on a positive or a period :) it'll be nice to be pregnancy again.

Hi all I have read through all of this thread and it gives me hope, we have had 3 miscarriages in 8 months, the last being the beginning of June, bleeding stopped by 10/11 June but was still getting the odd tiny streak of blood in clear discharge for up to a week after proper bleeding had stopped,I’ve not had a negative test but didn’t actually check as I had an ultrasound on 9th June which confirmed there was no more evidence of pregnancy, this last week I’ve had all the exact same symptoms and feelings of the previous pregnancies so thought I’d do a test only 3 weeks after bleeding had stopped I got a very bold positive come up straight away, I’m praying now that I’ve seen some of your stories this will be our turn,I was just so shocked to fall pregnant again so soon,I’ve had 2 periods between each of the others, we weren’t desperately trying but didn’t want to do anything to stop it happening again,I hope everyone who is still trying gets their rainbow babies xx

I had miscarriage in march no period was pregnant in April now 12 weeks

I had a miscarriage on 27/6/22.
My partner and I have been having unprotected sex over the last few weeks. On Saturday, I had cramping for about one hour which went away after taking iboprofen. I had a nose bleed that day too (I had both these symptoms when I was pregnant before)
I then bled (a little) during sex lastnight.

is this my first period coming back? Or could it be implantation?

ive had 2 chemical pregnancy’s so far one in June and one in December..
I fell pregnant straight after a chemical mc, I haven’t had a period so I had my chemical mc on the 7th of December and I had a positive pregnant test on the 3rd of Jan🌈.
Has anyone had any positive experience of falling pregnant and going full term?🤞🏼💗💙

I had an 11w MC and ovulated 7 days later. My son will be 2 in March. It is possible.

I read the Hg as leftover hormone from the MC an ignored it for 8 weeks. Wish I’d gone to the doctor sooner x
