Aww @TheLionQueen1 so cute. That’s gone fast! where did you get those memory cards from? I’d like to get some

TheLionQueen1 · 06/11/2017 13:34

I got them on Amazon, they're lovely!

mrsjkerry · 06/11/2017 15:43

@TheLionQueen1 he is gorgeous. Makes me really want to meet my little lady 💕 cant believe it has been four weeks; that has gone so fast!

Squigglefish · 06/11/2017 21:46

@TheLionQueen1 how lovely ❤ those cards are a really nice touch.

@mrsjkerry have you been any better today?

Sweep tomorrow, then let's see what happens. Still no signs of her making an appearance on her own accord. 🙈

mrsjkerry · 07/11/2017 06:30

@Squigglefish I had a good day sickness wise and then I got into bed last night and couldn’t stop vomiting!! I thought ‘here we go maybe things will kick off tonight’ but I’m still here this morning with no baby 😞

OP posts:
Squigglefish · 07/11/2017 10:57

Awww. It's so tough waiting isn't it? Especially when you're not at work and it's all you can focus on.
Went for the sweep this morning but she couldn't do it, my cervix is unfavourable. Back on Thursday for my routine check where we can try again but I'm now booked for induction on Saturday. Still time for her to come on her own though.

mrsjkerry · 07/11/2017 11:28

Good luck! I have my 40wk appnt on Thursday. I’m happy for the midwife to check my cervix (I assume they’re going to??) but not sure I want a sweep 😬

OP posts:
ew1990 · 07/11/2017 12:20

The sweep isn't as bad as people think, I found it a bit uncomfortable but I think having a smear was worse

DarcyParty · 07/11/2017 12:58

Had my sweep today (midwife had long nails and kept her engagement ring on, ouch) still wasn't very painful though.

I'm 2 cm dialated and cervix is soft, which I didnt expect!

Squigglefish · 07/11/2017 17:00

I'm gutted she couldn't do mine :(

ValentineFizz · 08/11/2017 08:09

Thanks ladies for all your congratulations, l am so in love! 😍

@mrsjkerry @julesbegone @squigglefish and anyone else l may have missed how are you girls feeling today? Hopefully won't be too long for you all now? X

mrsjkerry · 08/11/2017 08:53

Due date tomorrow @ValentineFizz

Not sure how I can go another few days. I’m so sick 😩😭 haven’t been able to keep anything down today!

OP posts:
Julesbegone · 08/11/2017 10:46

@ValentineFizz sort of a bit jealous of @mrsjkerry! Although being sick sounds horrendous, I’m getting a bit bored of feeling nothing at all!

mrsjkerry · 08/11/2017 10:49

Haha @Julesbegone you sound like me at 4 weeks. I couldn’t wait for morning sickness to kick in so that I could legit feel pregnant!! HOWEVER. Morning sickness has now been going on for 36 weeks.......................

OP posts:
mrsjkerry · 08/11/2017 10:50

Actually I lie! 34. It didn’t come on until I was 6 weeks 😄

OP posts:
Squigglefish · 08/11/2017 12:55

41 weeks today and no still no signs from my baby! 😔 my tummy is so hard too, I'm literally at bursting point lol.
@DarcyParty have you had any signs after your sweep?

Julesbegone · 08/11/2017 13:17

Haha @mrsjkerry, that’s what you get for tempting fate! Think I’ll keep my mouth shut.

I haven’t been sick once since he beginning and hope to keep it that way. I’ve resigned myself to the long haul: this baby obviously doesn’t want to come out and who am I to argue with nature? Hmm

DiscombobulatedWomble · 08/11/2017 15:20

Hi ladies, I've made it to 38+3 being a lurker on this site but as I'm getting close now I just wanted to say how reassuring it's been to see all your stories & be able to relate! You've all put my mind at rest a good few times in the last 9 months!
Huge congrats to those of you who've made it through, all the pictures are gorgeous!
Fingers crossed for those of us nearly there but not quite, that everything goes as smoothly as possible!

mrsjkerry · 08/11/2017 15:27

@Squigglefish my belly also feels stretched to the max! And baby’s movements are different. I know it must be because there’s little room but it hasn’t felt like there’s a fish in there for awhile now. Just stretching and pushing outwards!

@Julesbegone I actually thought ‘ah I probably won’t get morning sickness’ 😏

OP posts:
DarcyParty · 08/11/2017 17:11

@squigglefish I've been crampy, but no more proper contractions ( I had some a few nights before my sweep)

I have been having some gunky brown discharge too. I just want this baby!! Due date is tomorrow, and I have another sweep Tuesday again if nothing changes 😣
Hopefully our babies won't keep us waiting much longer!

mrsjkerry · 08/11/2017 17:25

@DarcyParty that sounds promising !

OP posts:
DarcyParty · 08/11/2017 17:41

@mrsjkerry I was a bit gutted I didn't go into spontanious labour on the nurse's table 😁

I asked the midwife if we could still have sex and she looked at me as if I'd grown another head! Said she'd never been asked that before, which I though was weird! There go my plans of keeping myself occupied haha

DarcyParty · 08/11/2017 17:42

Me and the boyfriend, not me and the midwide!!!

mrsjkerry · 08/11/2017 17:58

Far as I’ve read you can still have sex right up until your waters go??

OP posts:
DarcyParty · 08/11/2017 18:10

Well that's what I thought! She was a different midwife to my usual one, and was a bit strange. I couldn't believe she hadn't been asked that before, when she's basically a fanny specialist 😂
