Amazing news @ew1990. Great weight. Hope everything went smoothly for you all. Does she have a name yet?

Jessiecat27 · 04/11/2017 00:34

Congratulations! @ew1990

Bobbiepin · 04/11/2017 02:18

Great news @ew1990, did it go as smoothly as your post suggests? Its great she's latching already, keep using the nipple cream though! Congratulations sweetheart.

lydiangel83 · 04/11/2017 02:22

Hi all I had sweep and it was fine, less bad than a smear

I also had to be induced due to lack of growth and was warned it may take 5 days for it to work. Was pretty miserable then baby was born within 5.5 hrs. It happened so fast I had no pain relief before full dilation!!

Baby Liliana arrived Tuesday 7.1lbs doing well :)

I had to have the hormone drip, labour was tough I had to have pathedine, but was such a relief to push, I don't know how I got through it, and yes little Isobel (izzy)

@lydiangel83 congratulations xx

mrsjkerry · 04/11/2017 06:28

@ew1990 @lydiangel83 congratulations. What beautiful names!!

When is this labour going to start!! I have not slept at all last night. This diarrhoea is ridiculous. Every time I finished I needed to go again. I’m not sure how there’s still anything in me!

Other than that, nothing. No other signs. 😩 and I know diarrhoea can happen weeks before labour begins - I cannot do another night like this!

@ew1990 and @lydiangel lovely updates ladies! 😍

@Julesbegone couple of factors behind the induction, primarily assisted conception, 40 year old first timer and big baby!! 😆 Still waiting it out, had 2 pessaries now....

Squigglefish · 04/11/2017 13:05

@ew1990 congratulations, have been lookibforward to your update😘
@lydiangel lovey photo.
You both sounds like you did amazing with being induced. Was it as bad as everyone makes out?

My heartburn came back worse than ever last night. I was having pains all night too, thought could something be happening.....nope, feel fine today. 40+3

Squigglefish · 04/11/2017 13:14

ValentineFizz · 05/11/2017 11:30

Morning all, just checking in to let you know wee boy arrived late last night, no name yet but hoping to get home today.... Weight 6lb 14oz so all the panic of big baby, suspected gestational diabetes and growth scans for nothing!

SilviaElenaG · 05/11/2017 13:44

Hi Everyone! I'm new on this website and also about to become a new mum. I'm feeling excited but also nervous. I am due at the beginning of Feb. Anyone else due around the same time? :)

ew1990 · 05/11/2017 16:18

@ValentineFizz congratulations he's gorgeous!!

@mrsjkerry be you next, any signs yet?

mrsjkerry · 05/11/2017 16:25

No signs @ew1990 but been so incredibly sick. Vomiting all morning couldn’t keep anything down! Seriously bad diarrhoea too for 48 hours. I reckon she’ll come around her due date (Thursday).

lydiangel83 · 05/11/2017 20:41

Aww congratulations @ValentineFizz he is gorgeous! Don’t rush the naming, we didn’t have a name ready and got a bit of stick for it but it’s so important (and hard!)

Squigglefish · 05/11/2017 20:53

Congratulations @ValentineFizz!!!

4 days over and still waiting here....

mrsjkerry · 05/11/2017 22:42

@Squigglefish any signs whatsoever?

OP posts:
Squigglefish · 05/11/2017 23:01

@mrsjkerry not really, kind of like you with the sickness and tummy upset, it just never amounts to anything and goes away in the afternoons.
Going to brave the sweep on Tuesday. We could have our babies the same day!

lydiangel83 · 06/11/2017 07:47

@Squigglefish I had those movements for days / weeks and was annoying but maybe it is a sign! Sweep isn’t so bad I had it and found it no less unpleasant than a smear test xx

mrsjkerry · 06/11/2017 08:55

You’re right @Squigglefish nausea definitely subsides in the afternoon, though I wouldn’t say my upset stomach does.

Here’s hoping baby comes this week 😩🤢

TheLionQueen1 · 06/11/2017 11:17

Everything crossed for you two! My little man was 4 weeks yesterday, I can't believe it!
