Congratulations @thirdeye, this is getting so exciting with all of these announcements!

@lydia how are you doing?

ew1990 · 30/10/2017 16:10

Well girls I went for my scan, she's grown but not massively - doctor examined me and I was 2cm dilated so he's gave me a sweep, I'm booked in for Wednesday to have my waters broke if nothings happened before then x

ValentineFizz · 30/10/2017 20:02

Oh my goodness @ew1990, l guess that's good they are keeping a close eye on you both, does it feel like your sweep is working?

ew1990 · 30/10/2017 20:10

Got a little bit of backache but not much, bit of light bleeding but he said that's normal only to worry if it's fresh blood then I have to ring up

mrsjkerry · 30/10/2017 21:52

These last few weeks of pregnancy are so similar to TTC. I’ve just spent a good ten minutes googling how long you should leave sperm in you after sex in order to soften the cervix/induce labour.

Haven’t sat here with my legs up after sex in...well...9 months! 😄

@mrsjkerry 😂😂😂

lydiangel83 · 31/10/2017 04:36

Thanks all I’m ok - similar to @ew1990 I had a sweep yesterday (Monday) and booked in for induction tomorrow. Wanted natural induction but due to reduced movements (went for monitoring yesterday) and then slowed growth (scan after monitoring) they said better just to get baby out given I’m 39+5!

Sweep was really fine and then had contractions last night but went to bed about 10pm and they slowed right down. Movements still not right either. Currently bouncing on ball in last attempt to get things going naturally otherwise today 08:00hrs will be the day!!

@THirdEeye congratulations! Hope you and baby are doing well x

Good luck @lydiangel I'll be thinking of you today

TheLionQueen1 · 31/10/2017 06:40

Good luck @lydiangel83 , induction for me meant a really quick and easy labour, and I was 39+4 when they started it, it was fab! Means you meet your little one a little sooner, and induction doesn't mean it'll be harder! Good luck!

Squigglefish · 31/10/2017 08:12

Good luck ladies!

Nerves have the better if me today, I've been sick and have an upset tumny. Dreading my husband leaving for work, I'm up a height. No pains or anything so I don't think this is a sign. Wish it was all over now.
@mrsjkerry totally agree it's like the TTC times, especially overanalysing and googling what to look out for.
Hope you all have a nice easy day, sounds like it might be a bit chaotic for a few of us!

mrsjkerry · 31/10/2017 10:26

@Squigglefish I’m feeling you. Nausea and diarrhoea everyday. Had to get up and walk around last night as limbs were protruding from me. No movements from madam today. No pains. No twinges. Nothing. I totally want this all over and done with!! 38+5. Come on baba

37+4 today and on/off the past week or so I've been feeling sick, diarrhea (sorry tmi) and been feeling faint/dizzy...Anyone else? Wondering if it's my body getting ready! Haven't really noticed braxton hicks or loosing mucus plug etc so I feel like he may just come with not a lot of warning!

littlemissnaughty723 · 31/10/2017 14:29

I just found out on Saturday night that I’m pregnant. Not sure it’s really sunk in yet and I’m terrified of the whole thing! Booked my first appointment but it’s not until December! I didn’t know you had to wait that long. Think the wait might drive me crazy. I’ve taken two Clearblue tests. Would anyone recommend you do more? I’m telling my parents at the weekend and pretty nervous about that. Any tips would be great! Thanks

NC1990 · 31/10/2017 14:48

Wow lydiangel looking forward to hearing your updates! And ew1990 as well.

Jessiecat27 I'm 37 weeks also and have been feeling quite sick after eating the last few days. Lots of twinges and cramping but nothing anymore substantial than that. Had midwife today and she said baby's head is halfway into my pelvis, guessing that's fairly standard for this stage.

I'm to go in for a sweep the day before my due date and then they'll induce 7 days later if nothing happens. Can't believe it's just a waiting game now, it is incredibly surreal 😧

DarcyParty · 31/10/2017 17:02

Massive congrats to everyone who's popped ot are about to pop! Hope I'm not far behind Halloween Grin

@littlemissnaughty723

Congratulations! I still remember the long wait for my booking appointment, I think it was at 8 weeks. Honestly, once you start getting scans the time flies over. I'm 38+5 and I can't believe how quickly it's gone.

Clearblues aren't that sensitive, so if two are saying you're preggers, sounds like you're preggers!

I would say try to relax if you can (hard I know Halloween Grin ) and don't worry if you feel a bit crampy, as long as there's no red blood as well, that's just your uterus stretching.

Also start your pregnancy vitamins now if you haven't.

lydiangel83 · 01/11/2017 00:01

Got induced 9:30am baby girl born 3:15pm! Been a mental day but she is perfect. struggling with feeding will update properly soon!
