Any update @MistyBxx, I've been thinking about you.....

MistyBxx · 28/10/2017 12:04

Morning girlies. I'm feeling ok this morning. I went to bed last night and she was wiggling. And she's had hiccups this morning so I don't feel as panicky. I may ring them later just to speak to someone anyway. I don't know why I'm suddenly feeling so stressy about it, I've never noticed loads and loads of movement but last couple of days I've noticed less you know?! I know this sounds like I'm clutching at straws but i ran out of my pregnacare tablets on Monday and only bought some more yesterday so I went from Tuesday to Friday with no vitamins. I wonder if that has anything to do with it? Coz I know she gets her sustenance from nutrients rather than actual bits of food food floating down the cord. And I don't have a massively healthy diet rich in vits and good stuff, which is why I take the supplements to give her what she won't get from my food. So without the tablets I wonder if she didn't get as much nutrients and then didn't have the energy to move much? Don't get me wrong, that makes me feel like shit and I will never miss a day tablets again just in case, but it's just a thought.x

Glad to hear you are feeling better about things today @MistyBxx - l think this is the start of the lifetime of worry everyone warns us about!!

mrsjkerry · 28/10/2017 20:59

Anyone else feeling like they’re back in the two week wait waiting for their babies to drop? I’m 38+2 today 😩

OP posts:
ew1990 · 28/10/2017 21:28

@mrsjkerry I said this to DP today! Keep checking for plug and every twinge has me like ooh is this is! 38 weeks today!

mrsjkerry · 28/10/2017 22:27

Yes @ew1990 every tiny little thing I think...is this a symptom of labour. Is anything happening?? Argh I can’t deal with this for potentially four more weeks!

Bobbiepin · 29/10/2017 03:59

@mistybxx don't beat yourself up. So long as you're out of the first trimester missing a couple of days wont do any harm. You baby probably hasn't got into a pattern yet and that's fine.

lydiangel83 · 29/10/2017 07:35

@mrsjkerry yes feel like that all the time! 39+5 today!

lydiangel83 · 29/10/2017 07:36

@MistyBxx hugs to you don’t beat yourself up xx

lydiangel83 · 29/10/2017 07:36

@ew1990 me too been checking for weeks and nothing!

mrsjkerry · 29/10/2017 10:07

32 weeks today and first day in weeks that I've just felt like staying in bed all day!

Squigglefish · 29/10/2017 18:00

Baby due on Wednesday and I have so many pains, I think it's just because she has dropped. On and off cramps and back ache that comes and goes. I went food shopping on Friday and when I got back on the car i couldn't sit on my bum! The pressure was unreal.
Downloaded a contraction counter just in case. Got a horrible feeling she will be late, dreading the thought of a sweep.

lydiangel83 · 29/10/2017 19:13

Hey @Squigglefish I literally feel your pain! I have sweep booked for weds (my due date too) as it’s standard in my area. I don’t love the idea but would rather have that than chemical induction

ew1990 · 29/10/2017 19:56

@Squigglefish I think she's dropped, I feel something moving right in my groin? Scan tomorrow anyway so will know more then,

Thought I was going for dinner with dp today only to walk into a surprise baby shower, was lovely!

Squigglefish · 29/10/2017 23:15

@lydiangel83 ooh Imhis exciting. Hopefully things will start before then for you! My sweep is booked for Thursday 40+1 so I'll be glad to hear your experience, thats if you get to update us before baby comes!
I too would like to avoid chemical induction.
@ew1990 I feel the same and do you get strong pushing on your bladder and bum? I am sure this baby loves a good stretch out.
What a lovely thing to surprise for you with 😊

Oh, is anyone sleeping on a towel or puppy training pad in case of unexpected waters breaking at night?

Squigglefish · 29/10/2017 23:15

*how exciting Hmm

ew1990 · 29/10/2017 23:22

@Squigglefish I do, especially when I sit on the toilet I get lots in my bum, don't know wether is coz I'm sat in that certain position or it's piles 😂 I haven't even thought of waters breaking in the night might have to lay a towel down

Bobbiepin · 30/10/2017 02:23

@squigglefish i'd put money on you going into labour soon with those signs. Have you got a ball to bounce on? Going for a brisk walk will help things too. Good luck

lydiangel83 · 30/10/2017 03:34

@GingerHanna huge congratulations he is gorgeous and I also love the name Joseph. It’s a family name on my side too. I’m glad to hear he arrived safely and you’re doing ok I hope?

@Squigglefish will update you if I can for sure :)

Reduced movements so now I’m awake wondering when to call labour ward and go and get monitored. Shall I wait until morning? After a few pains on Saturday night that I thought could be labour signs I have had nothing on Sunday / Sunday night and now reduced movement so a bit worried

THirdEeye · 30/10/2017 08:45

Hi everyone!

Baby third arrived safe and well on the weekend.

I had to be induced due to some of my complications at 38weeks.

I was already 2cm dilated when they began, but they had to abandon it after a few hours as I bled. This seemed to kick start labour naturally and baby was born a short time later Smile.

THirdEeye · 30/10/2017 08:47

lydia

I would call the labour ward just to check things out.

Hoping everything is alright with you and baby.

Squigglefish · 30/10/2017 11:12

@THirdEeye congratulations! This is all so exciting.

@Bobbiepin yeah I have a ball ready to bounce on.
Had the dog to the vet this morning after a stressful weekend. Surprised that didn't bring on labour. Brisk walk planned with her later on. Baby can come now I know our dog is ok!

@lydiangel83 are you ok?.did you go.to get checked out?

mrsjkerry · 30/10/2017 12:18

Congratulations @THirdEeye! How exciting. Did you have any idea you’d dilated at all?

OP posts:
Bobbiepin · 30/10/2017 12:20

@lydiangel did you get checked out? Hope you're both ok.
