Thanks :)

Yeah, she said baby is just very stubborn and lazy. So taking after its Dad already.

Due date is 19th April. Which is what Mothercare told me at my 9 week private scan.
When are you due?

DaisyLand · 11/10/2017 21:07

According to 12w scan it’s 11-04. But I’ve had private scans which said 7 as well as 9-04. One from reproductive centre and other from private scan.

Loosemoose28 · 12/10/2017 00:24

New achievement today. Threw up while driving and managed to keep driving, head out window. Wasn't safe to stop and I vote window and look forward was safer than my lap Shock

lisara79 · 12/10/2017 07:32

Ha ha @loosemoose28. My pregnancy achievement is that I am no longer terrified of throwing up. Before pregnancy, I used to hug the toilet and cry for my mum when I vomited (I'm 38).... now I can throw up and just get on with my day.... plenty of daily practice for last 8 weeks. lol.

FourForYouGlenCoco · 12/10/2017 17:54

Oh loose that sounds horrible! I've not thrown up at all this pregnancy, just spent the whole first trimester feeling like I was about to. Fingers crossed the sickness eases off for you asap!
Sunny why wasn't your DH allowed in with you?! You're definitely not being unreasonable re your mum - always such a shame when parents can't put their children before their own egos. Hope things improve - maybe once baby is here it will be better?!

We had our 12w scan today, was dated at 12+4 I think, due date 22/04. Photos not great but the scan itself was fab - baby was wriggling and kicking about, waving - we saw its tiny little hands and dinky feet! Said to DH, its feet are probably about 0.5mm long, so amazing that we could see them so clearly! We get results on the day and low risk for all trisomies, which was a relief. Just so pleased and relieved everything looks good! Now to try and stop stressing and enjoy this pregnancy - this is probably my last baby, and definitely the last for a while, so need to make the most of it!

@FourForYouGlenCoco amazing scan pictures! So pleased all is well 😁

I don't know what is wrong with me this week but I'm literally a blubbering mess...I cry or want to cry at everything and anything! I've never felt this crap before...hope it passes soon 😢

Bez9087 · 14/10/2017 14:09

Hi @wonderfullysunny it went well thank you.
Confirmed due date as 14th April although I think will be end of March / beginning of April as need to have a section this time due to two previous difficult births.
Saw the twinnies moving around the left one more than the right. It feels so much more real now I have seen them again. Both looking healthy so far. Got my anomaly scan and twin clinic booked for the 30th November which feels so long away but been told may get a scan at 16 weeks due to the rainbow pathway they have placed me on due to previous loss. So fingers crossed we get that one.
Hit 14 weeks exactly today so start of the second trimester hopefully the horrid first trimester symptoms bog off and can feel a bit more normal. Feel like my bump has just grown so much the last week really obvious showing (makes sense with two in there) and back ache has already reared her ugly head but think that’s from over doing it the other day on a huge clean 🙈
Glad to hear all your scans have been going well. I keep forgetting to check on the forum 🙊 will promise to check more often.
We had The nuchal fold test also and left twin was 1.4 and right 1.5 and not heard anything since with the combined bloods so the fact it’s been a week I’m taking that as good enough news 🤞🏻

Bez9087 · 14/10/2017 14:10

Couldn’t get one of them together they wasn’t playing ball 😂

Hi all! I'm due 13th April with my first!!

I am not really showing at all, my waist has got thicker and my hips have got thinner (not sure how/why?!) but other than that nothing!

Hoping it will keep for another week as i'm a bridesmaid at a wedding and haven't told anybody yet!! Any ideas on hiding anything? x

Alnilham · 14/10/2017 16:48

Hello ladies,
I am due April 11th by USS and 14th by dates. I amount with dates because that is my mum's birthday. I am a little chubby so not showing yet. What about you guys?
My most annoying symptom is constipation bloating and gas. They are not going any where.

Alnilham · 14/10/2017 16:55

Oh by the way I am awaiting my midwifery exam results and this is me and DH first pumpkin. That's what we call it...pumpkin. And I am looking for an orange sleeper to put on baby at birth. Any ideas where I can find that? And what do you call your baby now?

AnnaMadden · 14/10/2017 17:00

@Alnilham I'm due on the 10th so we're very close together. My bump is growing rapidly lol...no chance of hiding it anymore!

Mothercare has a baby Halloween outfit section so you might get something in there!

Alnilham · 14/10/2017 17:43

Hi, thanks for the clothes suggestion. I guess it because I am bigger I don't look pregnant.
Do you have any annoying symptoms?

AnnaMadden · 14/10/2017 17:57

I'm also on baby number 4 so my stomach muscles are non existent lol.
Not particularly...certain smells make me feel sick and I have never experienced tiredness like this but it does seem to be easing a little. I have extremely sore boobs which makes sleeping difficult but after investing in a maternity pillow I have managed to get some sleep at least! How about you?

emvy · 14/10/2017 18:22

Hi all,

Please can I join? Baby is due 13/04. It will be our first baby but we have had two losses this year so it's been a while getting to a place where I can feel positive and hopeful. I think I've mostly made it through, apart from the usual worries that I think all mum's-to-be get during pregnancy which like to rear their unwelcome head every now and then!

I was just wondering what people's thoughts are on movements? I'm sure it's far too early but I've been feeling some flutters that could be gas but I'm clinging on to the possibility they could be movements? I have a nicely developing bump already so I'm feeling like there's no way I'd be lucky enough for movements this early too?!

Lovely to see lots of 12 week scan photos from everyone Grin

Alnilham · 14/10/2017 21:56

Hi Emvy , all the best in this pregnancy...as for movements if you are in tune with your uterus it is possible to feel. Theory says 16-20 weeks.

If that is the case, you guys making me feel bad. I have on bump and feeling no movements.

@AnnaMadden too I blaming it on my weight and my retroverted uterus or my virgin tummy muscles.Smile

Alnilham · 14/10/2017 21:57

Is there anyone else out that like me...I need some company...No bumb a little chubby and no movements.

Alnilham · 14/10/2017 22:01

Yea my breast are sore, they are growing for sure. No need for a pillow or anything. Just t constipation and bloating.

AnnaMadden · 15/10/2017 10:17

@emvy hello and welcome...I have been feeling movements since around 10 weeks that were only when I was relaxed previously and not distracted...now they are very regular and certainly remind me we have a little peanut growing! Grin

WineAndTiramisu · 15/10/2017 10:31

Not been on here in a while, had the 12 week scan and due date now 19/4 (I thought 21/4 from dates), we also had the harmony test done, so we know we're having a little girl Grin

Feeling a bit better now at 13 weeks, and definitely have a bump, saw a few people last week I've not seen in months, and got congratulations straight away, so it must be pretty obvious!

ScarletSienna · 15/10/2017 12:05

Still no bump here. Don’t think I had one last time until around 20 weeks. I know at 24 weeks someone was still surprised when I told them I was pregnant! No symptoms at all really. Definitely no healthy glow that’s for sure.

Alnilham · 15/10/2017 12:21

@ScarletSienna okay scarlet thanks for the hope. This is my first so well no idea.. Just theory's a midwife. Is it because you are chubby like I am or because u have super tight tummy muscles like I do😀
I am glad I don't have to change wardrobes yet and hope never. We will see will keep you posted. So nice to meet u guys.

Alnilham · 15/10/2017 12:23

What is a harmony test?

ScarletSienna · 15/10/2017 14:12

Harmony test checks for trisomy 23 from 10 weeks onwards using DNA taken from a blood test. The Panorama does the same from 9 weeks.

Lots of people don’t show yet-I bloated a bit at the beginning but now that’s gone you wouldn’t know I am pregnant.

WineAndTiramisu · 15/10/2017 15:11

Alnilham it's a blood test from 10 weeks that gives you a more accurate risk of chromosomal abnormalities, done privately. Also tells you the sex, results look like the attached picture
