@islington, hopefully it'll be unexplained bleeding but none of this is caused by your stress at all and it's almost impossible not to feel stressed when something awful happens.

HarryHarry · 27/08/2017 18:15

At this point, things might still be OK. Your scan from yesterday looked good! I do think that stress can cause a bit of bleeding but if it is a miscarriage you are in no way to blame for it. Everything I have read says that stress does not cause miscarriages. It's just one of those things. I'm really sorry you're going through it without full support from your partner but I hope it will all work out.

IslingtonHels · 27/08/2017 18:26

TThank you both. Trying to find a private hospital which is open tomorrow.

ScarletSienna · 27/08/2017 20:48

The waiting is so tough Flowers

Ashleigh1989 · 27/08/2017 20:56

Hello ladies. Hope you don't mind me joining. Just found out yesterday I am expecting a baby. Due date is saying 30th of April through the nhs site. I have a nearly 9 year old already. I don't know why but I feel very panicky with this pregnancy. I don't feel as though it is real and feel as though every sensation I have in my tummy is a bad thing happening. I have been having a slight pain on one side of my tummy. Does anyone else feel this way.
Thanks

ScarletSienna · 27/08/2017 21:02

Congrats @Ashleigh1989.

Quite a few of us on this thread had one sided pain and cramps. It's so worrying the first trimester!

lisara79 · 27/08/2017 21:37

@islingtonhels I am so sad to hear that you are going through this. It may still just be unexplained bleeding. I hope you do get to see someone. Please, please, please do not blame yourself... you can't help your anxiety and things are what they are.... This also is NOT your last chance... whatever the situation is... you have a whole lot of happy life left to live and a whole lot of opportunity. xx

Shanners123 · 27/08/2017 21:50

Absolutely agree with the girls @islington when they say losing the baby is NOT your fault.. IF that's what is happening, which you don't know yet for sure. Good luck finding somewhere tomorrow, would be better not to have to wait if you can be seen tomorrow. So so sad for you going through all this without support from your partner, but hopefully it will all be okay and you will only get stronger. Xxx

I'm keeping everything crossed for you @IslingtonHels I'm sorry your having to go through this without the support of your partner.

ScarletSienna · 28/08/2017 08:20

I had a little bit of pinkish tinge when I went to the loo this morning. Plus I'm having a few cramps which I've not had for a week or so now. Not feeling very positive.

ally62442 · 28/08/2017 08:39

Try not to worry too much @ScarletSienna hopefully it's just nothing. An everything is growing and expanding on a daily basis so perhaps the cramps your having is just this. An it just that there worse at the moment. My mum bleed throughout 3 of her 4 pregnancies, if that's any kind of reassurance.

dowhatyouwish · 28/08/2017 08:42

@Islingtonhels really sorry go hear what happened to you. What a witch that pick pocket is. As for your partner, he seems so disinterested. He should have been right by your side. You deserve better than that. I hope you're able to get checked out today, fingers crossed it'll all be okay.

ScarletSienna · 28/08/2017 08:46

@Ally62442 thanks. My Mum did too - she had 'periods' so didn't know she was pregnant until 4 months! Unfortunately I bled a lot last pregnancy (from week 6-14 as I miscarried a twin) so I find it hard to be rational even though I know I'd be saying the same.

Griffin252 · 28/08/2017 08:51

@Ashleigh1989 I had the same sort of pains in one side of my stomach, every time I walked it was like a stitch. I can't offer any reassurance as this is my first pregnancy, but my pains left by about week 6. I've had no pain at all since then - which also feels weird!

ally62442 · 28/08/2017 09:09

It is easy to say not to worry. I know I wouldn't be taking my own advice. I can imagine the worry doubles when you have had previous miscarriages. Flowers

IslingtonHels · 28/08/2017 10:44

Morning all, thank you so much for kind words and support. I have been calling everywhere this morning and managed to get an appointment at 4pm at Portland, with a consultant and for trans vaginal scan. Lots more blood clots this morning so preparing myself for the worst. It costs a fortune and don't really have the cash but I will worry about that later. I want to make sure I have done everything I possibly could.
@ScarletSienna, the hospital told me this weekend that a little bit of pink or brown is totally normal in first trimester, so please try not to worry too much.

julia02 · 28/08/2017 11:38

Hi there! Have anyone got sharp pain in vagina? I'm 6 weeks pregnant. Today, I got several sharp pain and nausea.... I got 3MC before and now I'm on cyclogest (pessaries). I need any opinion! Many thanks 😍😍😍😍

ally62442 · 28/08/2017 11:46

Good luck @IslingtonHels I'll be sending positive thoughts your way this afternoon. An praying everything turns out ok for you. Flowers

lisara79 · 28/08/2017 12:08

good luck @islingtonhels... @julia02... no experience of pessaries but have had some sharp pain and nausea since 6 weeks... pains aren't there a lot but I'm going with the fact that if there's no blood, i don't need to worry.

ally62442 · 28/08/2017 12:28

@julia02 one of the signs that was different in this cycle of trying and getting my bfp. Was pains in my vagina. Mine were more achy than actual sharp pains.

julia02 · 28/08/2017 12:31

Thank you @lisara79 and @ally62442. Thanks god, I'm not bleeding, but I'm worried I can not survive another MC. It's so hard for me... I haven't got other children and I am 28. Thanks for your support

ScarletSienna · 28/08/2017 13:04

Good luck @Islington Flowers

@Julia those pains sound like what a few of us have had so I think it must be usual. It's very hard when you've had a miscarriage before as you know that what can be normal can also be the beginnings of the worst. I'd say nausea is a positive sign.

lisara79 · 28/08/2017 13:24

@julia02 I do understand.... this is my first pregnancy after a miscarriage... I'm 37 and this is #1....

GlitterRollerSkate · 28/08/2017 15:10

Hi everyone not been about had a busy weekend. I'm spotting too hoping I just over done it. Trying to keep positive! Fingers crossed for us all! X x x

HarryHarry · 28/08/2017 17:06

I would be interested to know how many of us are on this thread and how many of us are having spotting. I'm sure it's more than the usual 20%.
