Oops time for a new thread. Hope you all find it okay Grin

@lydiangel83 I'm nearly 26 weeks, it was probably 20ish weeks when it improved because I remember I first felt baby move at 18 weeks and I was sleeping in the spare room because I was so fidgety and frustrated that night so it was after 18 weeks!

@squigglefish sounds like spd! You can get physio I think via midwife usually.
We're going to John Lewis for a nursery appointment where they show you how to use everything

TheLionQueen1 · 03/07/2017 09:15

I've gone for the oyster 2 below, without the carry cot so just the car seat and base and buggy. I basically wanted something that was going to be light, easy and mainly small when folded down as I only drive a small car. We tried a lot and this seemed to go the smallest! They also had an offer on at mothercare for a free car seat when the buggy and base were purchased so was about £560 overall!

I recommend going in to places and speaking to the staff, we walked in and looked at a few places clueless but then when we actually spoke to someone in Mothercare it all made loads more sense.

I still think you need some kind of degree in them though to fully understand 😂

Hey it's my first time pregnant too, and I've been feeling really down the past few days. I just feel so exhausted, either too warm or too cold, weepy and bloated. I'm almost 11 weeks. I'm hoping the 12 week scan soon picks up my mood a little and makes it all a little more real :)

NicoleC1990 · 03/07/2017 10:09

I loved trying out all the prams in Mothercare! DH was laughing at me the other day because I was sat watching pushchair reviews on YouTube Grin has to be done!

We have gone for the iCandy Orange in grey. It's just been released so had to go into John Lewis to order which was a bit of a pain, but they're storing it for us till closer to our due date which is handy. Might have to buy the pink canopy to girly it up a bit 😊 although not sure how we will fit everything into our boot, it's a 4x4 but with two dogs and their massive cage it's going to be interesting!

Also gone for Maxi Cosi Pebble car seat which will fit into chassis of the pushchair. Got a 10% off voucher for Mothercare so decided to bite the bullet and buy, feeling real now!

I'm 11 weeks today and still have sore nipples but I don't think my boobs have really grown? All I read about online is that they're meant to be popping out my bra 😩

Brens13 · 03/07/2017 10:40

Victoria I'm 15 weeks, and although I think they are a bit bigger they certainly haven't burst out my bras yet. I've bought a couple of more comfortable ones, but not got remeasured yet.

TheLionQueen1 · 03/07/2017 10:41

My boobs hadn't noticeably grown at 11 weeks Victoria? That's still quite early!

ew1990 · 03/07/2017 10:47

@Victoriaaaaaaaa only this past week (at 21 weeks) have mine started popping out of my bra and I was only a b cup before I got pregnant xx

mrsjkerry · 03/07/2017 10:47

These are my favourites so far!

I loved the silver cross MrsJ, it's so nice! However couldn't have it as the lady in Mothercare said they take quite a bit of room up which I just don't have in my car Sad

Missonhartbaby · 03/07/2017 11:37

Hi everyone. Has anyone else been struggling with their mood at all? I'm feeling so stressed and miserable at the moment. I'm being horrible to be OH but everything he does or doesn't do is just annoying me! I feel like he's not interested in the baby either and I just feel really lonely! Work is super stressful and I'm just constantly stressed about everything which can't be good for the baby!! Anyone else feel like this sometimes? Or can shed any light on what to do... Or just if it's normal!! Thanks!!

ladybuglou · 03/07/2017 11:53

@missionhartbaby I am struggling badly with mood at mo. I'm so weepy and overwhelmed and exhausted. I completely empathise! How far along are you? I'm almost 11 weeks.

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 03/07/2017 11:58

I'm 11 weeks and so moody too! One minute I'm angry the next I'm crying

Missonhartbaby · 03/07/2017 11:58

I'm 25 weeks. I'm sure all my hormones are supposed to be much calmer in the second trimester but it's so much worse! My hormones were in check in my first trimester but not now! Your mood could be hormone related and might calm down soon for you :) I am super weepy aswell! It's awful isn't it?

Mels24 · 03/07/2017 12:02

Hi, im pregnant with my first child, 10 weeks today. I have my first appointment with the midwife tomorrow but unsure as to what to expect, is there anything I'd need to take with me?? x

lydiangel83 · 03/07/2017 12:10

I'm mostly just angry :-/

Missonhartbaby · 03/07/2017 12:13

Lydia - I alternate between being angry about everything to feeling super weepy! Haha

NicoleC1990 · 03/07/2017 12:13

Mels24 congrats on your pregnancy! My first appointment was pretty quick, they gave me the booklet thing and asked basic questions about health, do I smoke/drink etc. I went back a couple of weeks after to have bloods taken and they'll give you one of the little pots to bring your urine in. I didn't take anything with me I don't think.

Brens13 · 03/07/2017 13:02

Congrats Mels same as Nicole, I didn't take anything with me other than a bit of knowledge. Mine asked about the health of mine and my DH's family so make sure you know about that. Everything else was stuff you could answer without pre-thought or was just MW introducing me to things to think about further along the pregnancy. Had bloods taken and gave a urine sample (luckily I could as I went to the loo when I got there, so maybe try not to do that!)

lydiangel83 · 03/07/2017 14:57

@Missonhartbaby I do too really, but I seem to get angrier quicker than I get weepy. I know at the time that I'm raging but can't seem to stop it! I wonder if it gets better or worse as time continues!??

ladybuglou · 03/07/2017 15:11

@missionhartbaby oh no! Sorry to hear they haven't calmed down. Sending you masses of sympathetic hugs! I am hoping mines is just the huge hormonal changes and it will calm down. I do suffer from depression though and had to come off my tablets at start of pregnancy so really hoping it's not another horrible depression episode. I feel like this should be the happiest time of my life, but I am not enjoying it at all so far!

Missonhartbaby · 03/07/2017 15:11

Congrats mels :)
Lydia - mines definitely got worse!! I'm just hoping it does start to get abit better soon! I want to start feeling like 'me' again instead of just being annoyed by everything! Haha

Squigglefish · 03/07/2017 18:41

Loving the suggestions and tips, going to look them up and find some more shops to check out.
The heartburn is dreadful today....

mrsjkerry · 03/07/2017 19:02

@Missonhartbaby I have good days and bad days. Some days it's just too much and I cry a lot. About how life will change; how my body will get ruined; how I don't know enough to be a mum etc etc!

lydiangel83 · 03/07/2017 19:26

OMG @mrsjkerry all of the above!!
