Oops time for a new thread. Hope you all find it okay Grin

@lydiangel83 I'm nearly 26 weeks, it was probably 20ish weeks when it improved because I remember I first felt baby move at 18 weeks and I was sleeping in the spare room because I was so fidgety and frustrated that night so it was after 18 weeks!

@Bubbasmama2017 ^^

Definitely, thinking about what we can eat - whilst eating xx

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 26/06/2017 07:07

Woke up feeling so so poorly today! Decided going to go into work this morning do what work I can and if I still feel really poorly leave work early.

ValentineFizz · 26/06/2017 07:31

Lol @ew1990 l love the giraffe comparison!!

Sorry for all those feeling nauseous or with backache, hope it starts to ease off soon

TheLionQueen1 · 26/06/2017 14:12

Thank god for our NHS exemption cards, I am at the dentist for the third time this pregnancy when I'd only been once a year before, my tooth has literally fallen apart! Apparently it's normal during pregnancy for weaker teeth etc that's why we need to see the dentist every 3 months, what a bloody palaver GrinAnyone else falling apart?!! 😂

ew1990 · 26/06/2017 15:40

@TheLionQueen1 I hope I'm as lucky with my teeth as I have been wth everything else this pregnancy, I hate the dentist, had to have a tooth out about 2 years ago and I cried xx

TheLionQueen1 · 26/06/2017 15:58

I'm becoming quite used to it now! Crown for me today so back again in 2 weeks, may as well move in Grin

Bubbasmama2017 · 26/06/2017 22:33

I've been lucky on the teeth front buy take regular medication (for the baby and my health) and it would have been so expensive without the exemption card!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 27/06/2017 09:07

yesterday i asked dh to throw me car keys and as he did a key caught me and slightly nicked my hand. A tiny bit of blood etc.

My tetanus ran out in Feb 2017.

Is this a cause for concern? My keys aren't noticeably rusty or anything - I know we get tetanus shots in third trimester but now i'm panicking. I don't know if we can have them in the 1st? Or if i'm just being silly!

Brens13 · 27/06/2017 09:57

I cut myself a couple of weekends ago on some wire taking down a fruit cage in my garden - tetanus didn't even cross my mind. I don't have necessarily any reassurance to offer, but this was a bit of wire that had been in the garden for years, I can no longer see the cut and assume I don't have tetanus so I'd try not to worry.

lydiangel83 · 27/06/2017 10:40

I had a dream last night that my teeth all fell out! Could be money worries or that my teeth are hurting and I haven't bothered to get them checked!

NicoleC1990 · 27/06/2017 11:06

Back pain has really got me as well, it's horrendous. I went to an osteopath last night and she said I have so much muscle tension that's it pulling on my rib cage and that's why I'm in so much pain. She cracked my back (gently!) a few times and did a massage on the sore bits and that's helped a lot.

I've been feeling the baby move over the last few days, tends to be at night when I'm lying down and feels almost like when a goldfish touches your finger through a plastic bag! She's certainly active. Now 19+3, 20-week scan next Monday 😀 x

Bubbasmama2017 · 27/06/2017 14:50

@nicolec1990 did you go to a specific osteopath for pregnancy or will a normal osteopath be able to help?
I used to crack my own back every few weeks and now can't because can't twist that far and its so tense!

that sounds lovely, I hope I feel the baby soon. got my 20 week scan on Friday praying it goes well. this is the slowest week ever!!!

ew1990 · 27/06/2017 14:52

@Bubbasmama2017 my 20 week scan is on Friday too but I'll be 20+6, what time is yours? I agree that this week is dragging x

Bubbasmama2017 · 27/06/2017 15:02

@EW1990 luckily mine is 10am so get it out the way and then go to work after all being well. have you had other scans? or just 12 week?
seems like a long time since 12 week scan now!

ew1990 · 27/06/2017 15:14

@Bubbasmama2017 I had one at 6 weeks one at 10 weeks and 12 week one, it's seems ages ago since the last one, mines at 10:30 but it's my day off xxx

beserious · 27/06/2017 22:40

@NicoleC1990 the goldfish in the bag is EXACTLY how I described it to people! Started feeling baby at 18 weeks to the day and it felt 100% like that!

Teachervoice · 27/06/2017 22:43

I've not even got a medical exemption card Confused

Asked the doctors' receptionist about it the other day and she said they'll give me the form at my 25 week appointment with the GP. Presuming that you all received yours a lot earlier? I'm 21 weeks now.

Bubbasmama2017 · 27/06/2017 22:55

The midwife sent off for mine at my first appointment with her. I got it by 14 weeks I think.
Maybe they were talking about matb1 certificate?

TheLionQueen1 · 27/06/2017 22:59

I was the same as Bubba, got my application at first appointment at 9 weeks, sent straight off and back before 12 week scan. That seems odd Teacher, the matb1 certificate is 25 weeks but exemption should be before?

Teachervoice · 27/06/2017 23:12

No, I was quite clear that I wanted it because I need to visit the dentist. She was just insistent that they give it to me at my appointment next month.

Will contact the midwife office tomorrow and ask them. Silly woman.

Funnily enough, it's my midwife who does the Mat B1 form and I can do that now I'm over 20 weeks apparently (work have asked for it.)

Bubbasmama2017 · 28/06/2017 06:50

@teacher voice you might be able to pay and then claim it back when you get the card I did that with a couple of prescriptions NT sure how it works with dentists though

lydiangel83 · 28/06/2017 07:22

I can genuinely see how sleep deprivation could be a form of torture - I'm sooo tired and another long day today - and without proper coffee... well maybe just the one...

Hmm
TheLionQueen1 · 28/06/2017 08:29

It's in preparation for the sleepless nights Lydia GrinI'm still having a coffee a day, sometime two if only a small instant one!

lydiangel83 · 28/06/2017 08:39

I know @TheLionQueen1 I'm scared lol! I sort of think at least I won't be having to perform at work then though?!

NicoleC1990 · 28/06/2017 08:50

@Bubbasmama2017 it was a normal osteopath but they offer treatments specifically for pregnancy. She made sure not to manipulate my lower back too much in case she bothered the baby. I asked a few work colleagues who've recently had babies and they recommended the clinic for me.

@beserious it is so difficult to describe isn't it but that's the only way I could articulate it! Grin
