Oops time for a new thread. Hope you all find it okay Grin

@lydiangel83 I'm nearly 26 weeks, it was probably 20ish weeks when it improved because I remember I first felt baby move at 18 weeks and I was sleeping in the spare room because I was so fidgety and frustrated that night so it was after 18 weeks!

Hi all, it's taken me a while to catch up that there was a new thread! 🤦🏻‍♀️ lol. I hope everyone is well, going to read through and update myself (no better time than 4am when you can't sleep) 🤗 we've had our dating scan yesterday and it seems I'm a little behind what we thought, 11+6 or 12 weeks exact as I'm writing this post midnight. However we got a lovely little pic! Everything seems fine, just awaiting the screening tests which we've opted for so fingers crossed all is ok there! Anyone else had these and awaiting or had results? I'm trying not to worry too much, however worrying is what I do best so it's hard! Anyway we have finally announced to the world, well... all our world 😊 what a relief as I hate keeping secrets! Here's our little one anyway ❤️ speak soon ladies xx

Sorry ladies, not sure why it's posted 3 times?? Xx

mrsjkerry · 15/06/2017 07:01

@Tinyti83 not sure if you know but the picture has your name and hospital on it 😊

Lovely picture! The screening tests are fine. Just a letter comes after a week or two.

Tinyti83 · 15/06/2017 07:08

Hi @mrsjkerry yes as soon as I posted it I realised but I can appear to delete to amend it now? Nor can i delete the two other posts that went on for some unknown reason? 🤦🏻‍♀️ x

mrsjkerry · 15/06/2017 07:34

Think you have to contact someone. Though I could report it maybe.

Tinyti83 · 15/06/2017 09:48

@mrsjkerry all sorted, I did report it and they sorted straight away, thanks Hun. Here's an updated scan photo ❤️ xx

MSH2010 · 15/06/2017 18:25

Congratulations ladies 😁

Missonhartbaby · 15/06/2017 18:27

Hi ladies!!! So... I have abit of a dilemma, my OH desperately wants to adopt a dog from a friend who has rescued her after being mistreated. But I am obviously due to have a baby in October... We've both always wanted a dog and apparently she needs no training as she's 18 months old. I know it's nice for children to grow up with dogs but would you think it was a good idea to get one now?!? Seems like alot to take on!! He's promised me he will walk her twice a day etc...

mrsjkerry · 15/06/2017 19:22

@Missonhartbaby I would do it because I want a dog! My husband says no to a dog because it's too much to deal with that and a new baby, as well as space. But if you're happy with it then go for it. I would

Missonhartbaby · 15/06/2017 20:51

Yea I think he's made his mind up and I'm just gonna have to go with it! Not that I don't want to have a dog or take her in... But space is abit of an issue. And i have two cats aswell who are not gonna be impressed! But I have always said I wanted a house full of chaos and love so I guess that's what I'm gonna get!

MSH2010 · 15/06/2017 22:24

I'd take the dog on now before baby gets here. At least then the dog will settle with you being pregnant.

I've grown up around dogs and have my own. She can tell something is different. She's gentle and she's been sniffing the baby stuff.

My MIL is horrified that my dog will be at mine and not shipped off to my parents when the twins are born. But we have pets as part of our family. To be honest my twins will be safer around my dog than my in laws anyway!!

NicoleC1990 · 16/06/2017 14:22

If you've had dogs before then go for it, so long as the dog has been thoroughly assessed by a reputable rescue. Otherwise maybe best to wait, I have two dogs and they are no bother at all but taking them out for a walk in the pissing rain with a baby in tow will be a thought! It is great for kids and dogs to grow up together though 👍

MSH2010 · 16/06/2017 14:28

I got asked for the first time by a stranger how long I had left to go. Her face when I said I didn't think my bump was too bad considering I'm carrying twins.... absolutely made my morning Grin

ew1990 · 16/06/2017 16:41

My bump seems to have grown overnight, I woke up this morning and my stomach feels so tight xx

lydiangel83 · 16/06/2017 17:46

My bump is tight although maybe to do with the copious amounts of chocolate and cake I have eaten today!

THirdEeye · 16/06/2017 18:54

My bump has popped too @eww and I've put on 1kg in the last week. It's all bump and (.)(.) as my tops etc still fit me.

Someone at work congratulated me and after saying thank you, I said I'm not really showing too much. She replied 'yes you are' and I said 'yes, but I'll be 20w next week'....she was 😳😳😳😳😳! That did make me smile.

lydiangel83 · 16/06/2017 19:18

I got a seat on the tube for the first time without a badge today - must be showing too :)

Missonhartbaby · 16/06/2017 21:17

Thanks girls, it's been decided we're having the dog!! I've never actually owned a dog before but my OH has always grown up with dogs and she seems to be great just a tad nervous but she's been well looked after apart from that (the woman's now ex was kicking her around abit and she can't look after her anymore as she's had back surgery.)
I also got asked when my baby was due for the first time today too! Such a nice feeling!! Smile

ew1990 · 16/06/2017 21:31

I love my bump but the stretching is so Uncomfy.

Still seems ages away till my next scan 😢 glad all you ladies are doing well xxx

MrsB12345 · 16/06/2017 21:43

We had our 20 week scan today. Baby didn't want to lie in the right position so we didn't get to find out the sex and need to go back in 2 weeks as they didn't get to see enough of the heart, spine and umbilical chord so we get another scan. Woohoo

MrsNemAz · 17/06/2017 09:58

Hi ladies! I haven't posted for a while! Baby is 18wks 4days. I had my 20wk scan yesterday due to some miscalculation at the beginning. The doctor who performed the scan did say that this is a bit early but she tried it anyway. We were there for one hour and at the end she managed to check everything and all is perfect with the baby! Grin. She said the position of my placenta isn't the best as its a bit close the the exit so I need to have a scan at 34 weeks to see its position.
Oh and it's s BOY 💙

TheLionQueen1 · 17/06/2017 10:13

Yay congratulations MrsB and MrsNem!
