Oops time for a new thread. Hope you all find it okay Grin

@lydiangel83 I'm nearly 26 weeks, it was probably 20ish weeks when it improved because I remember I first felt baby move at 18 weeks and I was sleeping in the spare room because I was so fidgety and frustrated that night so it was after 18 weeks!

Same boat as you, @ew1990 ! I feel really strongly that I'm having a girl so I almost don't feel the need to think of a boy's name! But we do have a boy's first name picked, just trying to decide a middle name but don't even have a shortlist!!

QuestionARhino · 06/06/2017 20:23

(Though won't be finding out!) when's your scan @ew1990 ?

OP posts:
ew1990 · 06/06/2017 20:29

@QuestionARhino 30th June (3 week Friday) I'm on countdown can't wait to see the little bean again (won't be so little anymore) everyone saying I'm having a boy and I think I believe them, I'd be over the moon with either xxx

QuestionARhino · 06/06/2017 20:43

@ew1990 Ah I'm so excited for you! Everyone thinks I'm having a boy too, I would be so happy either way, but if I ever imagine having my baby in my arms etc, it's always a girl! Confused

OP posts:
ew1990 · 06/06/2017 21:08

I've had a few dreams I've had the baby, I can never make out it's face but it's a girl with a mass of dark hair Confused xx

Jessiecat27 · 06/06/2017 21:13

ew1990 I had a weird one last night! I dreamt I had given birth to twins (it's definitely not twins!) but I woke up this morning thinking 'yay I'm off on maternity leave now' I was nearly late for work I was so convinced!

QuestionARhino · 06/06/2017 21:14

No I never see the face in my dreams! It's always the back of the head, also with dark hair (though with us both having nearly black hair that makes sense) and always quite teeny but I doubt that'll be the case bc OH is 6"3 and our last scan showed us baby has huge feet (longer than femurs) and belly is nearly off the scale 😂 not looking forward to squeezing that out 🙃

Yeah last one was that I gave birth and the hospital wouldn't let me in so I was running round with a newborn and I didn't know how to hold it proper, (don't know why I helped my mum bring up siblings so know how to hold a baby) it was quite a scary one xx

Missonhartbaby · 06/06/2017 21:33

Love all the crazy dreams!! Glad it's not just me! We were convinced it was a girl aswell @ew1990 I had the name ready (Edith Raine) and kept saying she... And today we find its a boy! What do you guys think about Arthur? I love max but my cousins baby is called max...doh

Missonhartbaby · 06/06/2017 21:35

Or osian (Welsh name, OH isn't keen though!) and Eli we like too

ew1990 · 06/06/2017 21:38

I like Arthur, oh likes harry coz with his surname it sounds like a footballer xx

Missonhartbaby · 06/06/2017 21:40

My brothers called Harry, it's a good name!! :D

ew1990 · 07/06/2017 19:20

Hi girls, how's everyone doing today?

My house is a shit tip had workmen in for 2 days doing new boiler and radiators, it's gunna have to wait till my next day off Friday xxx

QuestionARhino · 07/06/2017 19:31

@ew1990 we had ours replaced a couple years ago. More disruptive than I expected! We're planning on getting a new kitchen fitted in the next 8 weeks, so hopefully before baby arrives but could be delayed by any reason I guess!

How are you doing, how's work?

So I've started waddling... don't feel big enough to waddle but my hips are so friggin sore I can't walk properly Sad

OP posts:
ew1990 · 07/06/2017 19:33

A women at work said I was waddling 😂 it's so much better now they e changed my hours, we've got so much work to do - put wooden floor down now radiators are in, new kitchen roof and other halfs doing a new kitchen himself, plaster the walls In spare room which will be babies room, I'm so glad oh is capable of doing this stuff xx

QuestionARhino · 07/06/2017 19:49

Oh damn that's a lot of work! Hope you get to sit from the sofa and oversee everything 😇

Haha my mum's been waiting with baited breath for the day I start waddling, and she's made up that that day was yesterday 😂

I'm tired and emotional and struggling with work. Consultant appt today about long term back conditions and she suggested starting mat leave a bit early if it's too much, but I don't want to eat in to my leave :-/

mrsjkerry · 07/06/2017 20:07

@lydiangel83 I feel the same. I think I may have to work up until the week before due date and it worries me because I am already so tired! Struggling to get through these last 4 weeks at school. My form totally ready for the summer and hardly listening to a word I say Hmm

THirdEeye · 07/06/2017 20:27

mrsj my form are doing the same and I can't quite believe that I've only just gone back after half term. I feel very tired, which isn't helped with waking a few times each night.

I'm not having dreams so much about the baby but defo some weird ones.

ew1990 · 07/06/2017 20:27

I'm planning on starting mine when I'm 35 weeks coz my job is so heavy, but I've booked 2 weeks off annual leave as well before I start it so I should finish at 33 weeks hopefully xx

ew1990 · 07/06/2017 20:28

@QuestionARhino oh yeah he makes me sit down now whilst he does stuff 😊 xx

THirdEeye · 07/06/2017 20:30

I'm planning on going two - three weeks before as I've been told I'll need to have a ELCS at 38/39 weeks. Also, my drive in to work is quite lengthy so I'm not sure how I will feel when I return after the summer hols.

mrsjkerry · 07/06/2017 20:37

On what basis do you need a ELCS? Just curious!

THirdEeye · 07/06/2017 20:56

I've had a few gyne ops, so the consultant said it's safer for the baby.

lydiangel83 · 07/06/2017 21:05

Hats off to all the teachers amongst us, no way I could do that job! I didn't want to go early but the thought of commuting does not appeal plus work is hard and not much respite for a preggo. Going to talk to my manager about it next week when she is over from the states. She told me when work is stressful to just rub my belly and count down the days :) thats fine but 4-5 months is still quite a long time to go!
