Wow yay congratulations Mistletoe! Star great news! What an exciting year for you! X

mistletoeprickles · 05/09/2017 21:34

Thank you ladies.
We won't tie the knot until next year, it's a lot to pay for but we have since book a venue.
2016 we got pregnant
2017 ds was born
2018 getting married.

I need ideas for 2019 Grin

FraggleRock77 · 06/09/2017 03:50

Have another baby?!? Congratulations on the engagement. Pic of ring needed x

MrsCrabtree · 06/09/2017 12:36

2019: Take a very long and luxurious holiday Smile

Bear2014 · 09/09/2017 16:35

Congratulations Mistletoe! That's amazing. What a year for you.

Hope everyone else is well.

We're doing good, baby Alex is thriving and now weighs over 13lb! He's just going into his 3-6 month clothes.

Where would the new thread go - parenting? I don't mind creating it xx

Thanks all.

It's been a bit of whirlwind but the story isn't very romantic.

There is local venue that we love the look of but have never been too, they were holding an open evening so we used it as an opportunity to have a nose around the building and grounds.
We got talking to the wedding coordinator and discussed deals/events/etc. DP looked at me and said "next October would be good?" I agreed and we were booked!
I am very excited, I'm very creative so really looking forward to making things as well.

Ds is doing good, no idea on his weight as apparently babies here are only weighed every 4 weeks! He's up'ed his feeds in the last few days again so doing well. Sleep is still hit and miss at night but it's just because he's awake and chatting.

bear how do you feel about alex going into bigger clothes? I almost cried packing away new born things but at the same time I love the new noises and him being more alert

Bear2014 · 10/09/2017 03:59

Aah that is romantic! We're not married, will possibly do it at some point in the future purely as an excuse for a party!

It's ridiculous how quickly he's growing, feel a bit sad he's not got to wear some of his stuff but i do make big hungry babies so not a shock either. My sister is getting carrier bags of stuff for her baby, due next week.

Congratulations Misteltoe.

Bear post natal groups section of MN for follow on thread?

Aviana has just started wearing Newborn clothes, she is 9lb but tends to wear a size smaller. I'm having to pack away all the preemie/tiny baby stuff which is a really nice feeling!

MrsCrabtree · 13/09/2017 18:48

How is everyone? Hope I haven't missed a new thread?

We're muddling through the constant feeding and changing but luckily he's adorable.

Great to hear how well aviana is doing Blueroses! Fantastic. Hope the wedding planning is coming along mistletoe and fingers crossed for your sister's baby Bear. Thinking of you Raffles and Fraggle and Lolly xxx

How's everyone getting on? We're in the middle of our first proper stretch without the maternity nanny and it's tough! We're so lucky to have had her here - I'd be a mental wreck doing it alone. I have a new found respect for mothers everywhere - you are all super stars even when you don't feel it. Mr RMS is great - in fact I'm the only one who can't settle Arthur down but we're learning together.

How is everyone doing recovery-wise? I feel pretty good inside now but scar is really sore at the mo. Think it's just part of healing. Been told I can start swimming next week so quite excited about that.

Hope all mums and babies are happy and healthy.

Hi ladies, i'll start a new thread on postnatal clubs 👶🏼👍

Glad to hear everyone is getting on well and babies all coming on nicely. Alex is a delight and totally spoiling us with how easy he is, and big sis is on great form too. Life is good, long may it continue!
