It must be an odd feeling Mistletoe! Just try and enjoy it. I personally love the idea of having a plan x

MrsCrabtree · 29/07/2017 09:28

Wow mistletoe, it must be a weird feeling. Hope you can enjoy the last little while of being preggo and also getting so excited to meet your baba! Woooo!

Am glad you have a plan too Fraggle, if it's the best thing for you then it's the best thing for your baby! Hope you're pushing through Bear, not long now. You ok Raffles?

Im pretty sure mine will be late (unless anything scary happens) so I reckon I'll be the last one! Enjoying the first day of my leave, phew x

RafflesMaidenSister · 30/07/2017 05:51

Yay Mistle - last day pregnant - so exciting!

All good here. We are finally making some progress getting the house sorted, which has been preying on my mind. On the downside have had to buy new wardrobe for the Nanny's room because we have lost all the screws and the hanging pole for the old one. Could have done without the expense.

Don't seem to be able to sleep at all at the moment. Had terrible Braxton Hicks about 11.30 pm, the woke up at 1.30 and gave up trying to go back to sleep at about 3 am. Don't know if it's the physical discomfort or excitement/nerves. Eventually I will get so tired I'll have to sleep.

When are you due MrsCrab? I was pretty sure I would be bringing up the rear! Due on 28th but have been told will induce at 39 weeks. Am paranoid they are just saying this to keep me calm Grin.

Bear2014 · 30/07/2017 16:34

Good luck Tomorrow Mistletoe! Hope it all goes really smoothly. So exciting!! 🤗

Hope everyone else is doing well.

MrsCrabtree · 30/07/2017 18:09

Good luck mistletoe!

Due 22/8 but I feel it will be late. Obv I might be wrong but I just think it will be. So if you are induced at 39 weeks you'll beat me! x

FraggleRock77 · 30/07/2017 21:07

Good luck Mistletoe. Everything crossed xxxx

RafflesMaidenSister · 31/07/2017 04:49

Good luck today Mistletoe! Xxx

mistletoeprickles · 31/07/2017 06:05

Thank you Flowers

I am knackered. The ward was really busy last night with loads of noise so I only managed about 4 hours sleep!
I've got about 3 hours wait and ill be off

FraggleRock77 · 02/08/2017 06:52

Just a quick update from me. Sorry to trump you Mistletoe and i hope you're ok? Our baby arrived via section in the early hours due to my water breaking. As predicted i started to labour very quickly. DS is currently in NICU but should only be in a few days. He's doing really well. So pleased it's over. And thank you for all the support offered over the course of this journey x

Bear2014 · 02/08/2017 08:38

Congratulations fraggle 🎉 that's great news! Wishing you all a speedy recovery and hope you get home soon. You did it!! Xx

Congratulations fraggles

Our little monkey was born on Monday morning as planned via section. He's doing good and we came home yesterday.
I'm ok too, tired and sore but well. Ds (it's weird typing that) happily eats, shits and sleeps Grin

Hope everyone is ok xxx

MrsCrabtree · 02/08/2017 09:09

Hurray! Congratulations Fraggle! Welcome to the world little frag and hope you all recover quickly. Well done xxx

RafflesMaidenSister · 02/08/2017 09:14

Congrats Fraggle and Mistletoe! So exciting! Hope Fraggle Minor is out of NICU soon. Glad everyone is doing well and wishing you quick recoveries from the sections.

Does that just leave Bear, MrsCrab and me?

MrsCrabtree · 02/08/2017 09:14

And congratulations Mistletoe!! It's all happening! That's wonderful news, glad you are both doing well. Yay! Xxx

FraggleRock77 · 02/08/2017 10:29

Congratulations Mistletoe. Lovely news x

Bear2014 · 02/08/2017 11:44

mistletoeprickles · 02/08/2017 21:38

Thank you everyone Flowers

We've been home since yesterday afternoon and it's lovely. Baby seems to of settled well and working things out as a family.
Luckily he had know sugar issues but watching being heel pricked every 3 hours was really tough. The GD seems to of settled and hopefully it stays that way.

Hope your baby is doing well fraggle.

If everyone is happy for me to I will continue to check in regularly xxxx

RafflesMaidenSister · 03/08/2017 09:26

Mistle (and everyone else who now has babies), please don't disappear! I want to hear all about how you are getting on.

Glad the GD has settled down.

How is everyone else getting on?

Bear2014 · 03/08/2017 09:47

Yes mistletoe please do stay. Glad everything is settling down for you all. Poor baby - I remember the prick tests from our jaundice saga and it's so sad when they cry Sad

Raffles and mrscrab how are you both going? I'm basically good for nothing at this point. Elective date is a week today if i make it that far.

OP posts:
RafflesMaidenSister · 03/08/2017 10:20

Poor you, Bear - I feel pretty much useless too but I'm still nearly a month out from due date. Have growth scan and consultant tomorrow so hopefully I will get a solid answer on the 39 week induction point, which I am holding on to.

I can't really sleep at all and to top it all off have a horrible cold. Feel really sorry for myself but really shouldn't!

Are you hoping to make it to elective date or just to get it over with?

How're you doing MrsCrab?

How're all the summer babies?

MrsCrabtree · 03/08/2017 11:05

Not surprised Bear, you've had a pretty eventful few weeks! Really hope you can put your feet up for the next week until your section.

Poor you Raffles, that sounds miserable. Go ahead and feel sorry for yourself! Hope you are resting too, and fingers crossed for some clear plans from your appointment tomorrow.

Im a little bit at sea because it's just a waiting game now! I'm basically fine apart from not being able to walk and not sleeping brilliantly, but otherwise totally ok. I am mentally aiming for 42 weeks so I don't get stressed if I go over so that's a month away. Seems far and near all at once. Am keeping really busy so far on mat leave with various social engagements and organising things at home, so that is making time go quickly. Probably need to prioritise a few more naps while I have the chance...

Baby updates always welcome from those of you who are already done!

Bear2014 · 03/08/2017 11:19

Yep I'm 38+4 today so would be more than happy for it to happen whenever - no sign yet though. Sleep is awful isn't it! There is seemingly no good position. Hang in there ladies!

OP posts:
Lolly2803 · 03/08/2017 20:10

Hey ladies!! Congratulations on all the new arrivals!! So exciting! How are you all feeling?

Bear how are you holding up?

Sorry for disappearing, I don't have much time to go on here at the moment. Having twins is SO hard OMG! I had no idea. They are amazing and are piling on the pounds and doing well but the sleep deprivation is serious isn't it!!

Anyway, hope you're all doing well. Amazing almost all our babies are here! Yay!! xxx

Bear2014 · 03/08/2017 20:45

Hi Lolly! Great to hear from you.. no explanation needed, twins is hard core! How are you feeling now?

I went for a walk earlier with a friend and was so stiff and sore! 2 paracetamol and a couple of swigs of wine helped. A week or less to go, thankfully!

MrsCrabtree · 04/08/2017 10:12

Hi lolly! Glad you are all doing well - I can't even imagine how tough it must be though! Lucky those babies are gorgeous to propel you onwards x
