Anyone who is similar please come and join, I want to complain and not be told he'll come when he's ready Sad I know that that is the case but I can't have it repeated to me any more than what I've already heard it, mainly by the annoying fuckers who text me and ask if the baby is here yet!

I went to the midwife for a sweep at bang on 40 weeks but she couldn't do it because he wasn't engaged enough so I can't try again until Thursday which is pushing it too close to Christmas Day Angry And I had £50 worth of acupuncture yesterday and he's still as high as he was 6 weeks ago.

I'm sorry for the moan but I'm so fucked off, I just don't want him to have a birthday any closer to Christmas than what he has to Sad

If anyone was barely engaged with not even a hint of a show but suddenly dropped and went in to labour, now is the time to share your stories!

Oh no! No don't panic, I'm sure he'll be allowed in, it's not an open ward and the baby will have immunity from you so I doubt they would pick up his cold.

I have a sore throat and cough but can't get out of it that easily 😂😂

Getting uncomfortable now and closer together so will give them a call.

Got my 18 month old climbing all over me, it's really not helping Hmm

Really hoping too there it's tonight so DP doesn't miss out, and keeping everything crossed the rest of you do too!

PeachBellini123 · 22/12/2016 19:12

Good luck ladies Flowers

Elland · 22/12/2016 19:21

Fingers crossed for you whatthe! Absolute perfect timing if they tell you to get there now!

Thanks for the reassurance, he's panicking aswell which isn't helping!m and say here in increasing pain trying not to let on that they're getting closer and stronger!

He'll be finecessary, dose him up on paracetamol and try to both have a nap if you can.

Delivery Suite have said when at a consistent interval I can go in, fluctuating between 3 and 5 mins at the min so will hang out at home and hope they settle into more of a pattern soon. Getting quite uncomfortable now!

Whatthefreakinwhatnow · 22/12/2016 19:28

ell what are your contractions doing?

Elland · 22/12/2016 19:50

They've picked up quickly haven't they?! Hopefully you'll be near enough there once a pattern has settled in!

Mine are coming fast if I move about but slow down when I'm sat down, I would be up and about encouraging them but with DP feeing the way he does I'm trying not to encourage them which is getting annoying! Some are more painful than others! I want to shout at him for being poorly but I know how irrational that isGrin

Tinyhumanjan17 · 23/12/2016 06:13

Thinking exactly the same nikki!! Feel so run down!!

Whatthefreakinwhatnow · 23/12/2016 06:58

nikki I'm sorry to say I felt like that for the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy, so no guarantees it's anything imminent but you never know.

Just waiting for the doctor to do his checks and we can head home around 9/10, I can't wait for my own bed! Smile

was so glad it happened last night so DP didn't miss it xx

Nothing doing here, I'm now waiting til Monday!

cnchapmanxx · 23/12/2016 07:50

Happy due date to me!! Not a bean happened overnight.. she's obviously too comfy in there!!

tillytubby · 23/12/2016 08:34

Can I join you ladies? I am 41+1 today and totally fed up and uncomfortable.
My DS was born on his due date so I convinced myself the same thing would happen.

I'm just so uncomfortable and terrified of an induction due to the increased likelihood of needing a forceps delivery resulting in a tear.

Dueindecember2016 · 23/12/2016 09:18

My due date is here and still no baby. Any advice on sweeps?

PeachBellini123 · 23/12/2016 10:46

Lovely news What Flowers

Kione · 23/12/2016 11:18

Congratulations!
tillytubby I am the same as you 40+1 and my DD1 was delivered by forceps. The cut was big but to be honest after 3 days of agony it was absolutely fine and if they tell me its needed again this time (which I suspect) I will not be worried in the slightest. If anything I won't insist in trying to push and make it all longer.

StubbleTurnips · 23/12/2016 12:36

Midwife again this morning, 41w and it's my birthday! No sweep as he's not engaged Angry
