Spotting, cramping, "is my clearblue digi accurate?",* viability scans, measuring behind, measuring ahead, high hcg, low hcg, morning sickness, lack of morning sickness, anomaly scans....

That's right, folks, it's the place where scanxiety really means something, where the feeling like you're always going to be on the wrong side of statistics nevers go away, and where moments of sheer terror are par for the course ...it's pregnancy after infertility.

Join if you want to hang out with a supportive group of women across all different stages of pregnancy who can't believe they got here and are hoping like hell its all going to be ok.

Sorry to hear this friends I have lurked on this thread for a while following your journeys. Everything crossed for you.

Custardandcream · 14/12/2016 22:39

So sorry friends Flowers

Blueroses99 · 15/12/2016 08:51

Hope to hear from you soon Friends, thinking of you.

Blondes lovely scan pic.

MPP good to hear that he measured up as he should. I'll remember the orange juice tip. After having several scans before 20 weeks, I found it really odd thinking that there would be another 20 weeks without any.

Lucie glad you had a good scan.

Genghis wow measuring a week ahead already! You've got a little giant in there.

Kez how was your scan?

AFM first scan yesterday, saw a little heartbeat and all looks fine at the moment! As I have had some spotting, I'm booked in for another scan with the clinic in 2 weeks, after which they will probably discharge me. I have my first NHS scan next week on 22nd, and still trying to plan my ongoing care.

kezmarie · 15/12/2016 11:42

Hi all,
Sorry been quiet, had a wobble over the last few days and was convinced it was all over as all my symptoms had gone.
I've still been lurking and following you all though.
Blueroses my scan was yesterday and went well thank gosh. Seen the little bean with a heartbeat so that definitely put my mind at ease. Measuring 7+0 exactly and due date of 2nd August.
I've been discharged from my fertility clinic now & just under the care of midwives, I'm to stop all meds and pessaries now aswell so hopefully I will start feeling back to normal.
How's things with you? X

icy121 · 15/12/2016 17:57

friends thinking of you. Really holding breath.

Sara237 · 15/12/2016 19:25

Ladies i just need to pick your brains - is it normal to have stabbing pain in right side of ovaries? I am only 2 weeks since transfer. Yesterday had such bad back pain on right side could hardly bend down. Worried as scan not till Jan 5th. Thanks guys.

Sara237 · 15/12/2016 19:28

Kez glad scan went well how amazing to see a heartbeat! Well done!
Blueroses - also glad you've had that scan now - any progress on the stitch front?

kiwiblue · 15/12/2016 20:55

Blueroses and kez really glad your scans went well.

friends123 · 15/12/2016 21:17

Hi guys. Thank you do much for all your support, it honestly means so much. I'm currently still in hospital, the consultants, doctors etc didn't hold out much hope ( I could tell in their tone and they just keep reaffirming that there's nothing they can do at this stage but baby friends is fighting so hard! I had an ultrasound yesterday and baby has still got fluid and is continuing to do well.

There main concern now is in case I get an infection or leak again so I'm on bed rest and antibiotics.
I will catch up soon with all your post. I just wanted to say to you guys if your worried about anything please just ring up and get checked.I honestly thought I was being an hyprecondratic and that it was probably discharge, within 10 Minuites my whole world was falling apart. ( I don't mean to scare anybody by the way but I certainly wouldn't hesitate again)

Sara237 · 15/12/2016 21:43

Friends - glad to hear baby fiends is a fighter. Can't believe what you've been through. Everyone is rooting for you both x

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 15/12/2016 22:34

Friends I'm so glad to read that your baby is still fighting strong. It must be so hard on you and your DH. Fx for the bed rest and antibiotics xx Good point about getting checked out if you have a concern - I'm someone who would probably procrastinate so will keep it in mind.

I definitely had stabbing pains Sara and continued to get various pains for the first 15 weeks or so. They would come and go. How are you feeling today?

Kez and Blueroses I'm so glad both your scans went well!

Congratulations on the results RoseBud...such a relief after all your waiting.

Nudge your bladder Blondes?!? Yikes, I'm glad that hasn't happened so far. I'd probably have an accident Blush

Blueroses99 · 16/12/2016 08:19

Pebbles086 · 16/12/2016 20:01

Hello, I am a lurker. (Sounds very creepy)!

I recognise a few of you ladies and I am pleased to read your pregnancies are going well.
friends I had to de-lurk to say how sorry I am that you've had such a massive and traumatic scare. So glad to see your little one is a tough one. I hope lots of bed rest and the meds do the trick. Take very good care of yourself.

Wizziwoo · 16/12/2016 21:10

Friends thinking of you. Hope you are doing ok and baby is soldiering on Flowers

Custardandcream · 17/12/2016 19:17

Think I might be out, I've started bleeding, it's a couple of inches on my pad (sorry for tmi) so not spotting. Will call the clinic in the morning, I'm so upset I couldn't make it to the viability scan but I suppose it's better than finding out there.

AHedgehogCanNeverBeBuggered · 17/12/2016 19:47

Oh custard I'm so sorry to hear that Flowers

However, don't count yourself out just yet, a friend of mine bled heavily up till 11 weeks and is fine now and expecting a healthy baby. I pray it will be the same for you.

Nurse15 · 17/12/2016 20:53

Custard have everything crossed for you! I bled a lot from weeks 6-9 and all ended up being okay, super scary though! Keep us updated x

friends123 · 17/12/2016 21:22

Hi all.
Blueroses, I'm currently 18.4 weeks, baby is actually measuring 4 days ahead but they won't take that into account. How did your appointment go with your GP? Your anxiety is certainly to be expected.

They've brought my 20 week scan forward, it's now on Wednesday followed by a consultant appointment to see what's next . I've still got no sign of infection but being on the delivery ward, listening to all the new babies is truly breaking my heart.

Custard, I hope that you're okay and that you get some good news. I also had bleeding around 7 weeks, it does happen. Thinking of you. x

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/12/2016 21:54

CUstard. Someone I knew bleed heavily and was convinced had a mc but at her viability scan at think 7w she saw heart beating

Don't give up hope till you have had the scan. When is it?
