That's right, folks, it's the place where scanxiety really means something, where the feeling like you're always going to be on the wrong side of statistics nevers go away, and where moments of sheer terror are par for the course ...it's pregnancy after infertility.

Tiger My anxiety is awful at the moment too I just can't seem to keep my thoughts rational at the moment. Although my vomiting episode this morning did help me to feel reassured (for all of about 30 minutes).
Then just to add further worry to the situation I phoned Babybond this morning in the hope that they could move my Harmony scan forward to earlier in the day on Weds this week. And she told me that I actually shouldn't be being scanned until Friday. Only an extra 2 days but OMG that feels like a lifetime away.

Rose rubbish that you're feeling poorly but hopefully it helps the anxiety? When was your last scan? Bugger that you've had to move your harmony!

AFM, we had another scan with my IVF consultant (who I love) at 8 plus 5 and everything looked good (touching wood etc etc) and I am booked in for harmony now Monday next week. Start coming off some of my meds from 10 weeks so that feels like a milestone in itself. Not been feeling too bad overall - definitely more tired and some nausea but my husband pointed out its not impacting my appetite! Have been eating a lot of crap as just don't fancy normal food. Slightly worried Im going to be the size of a house soon....

Bad news from me I'm afraid. No heartbeat at our scan today. Measured 9+5 when it should have been 10+2. Totally numb and feel like I have stepped from a dream into the worst possible nightmare. ERPC booked for Wednesday. Deep down I have known for a couple of days that something was wrong, but I hoped I was just imagining it. Still struggling to process it all really.

Orange juice worked. Bubs turned. Also made me throw up on the way to hospital - in hospital car park and by reception desk in a loo but all heard me

Anyway turning meant bubs face and heart chambers all checked and all fine

I'm going to be a mummy to our daughter 💓💓💓💓💓

Overjoyed either sex. Just wanted to be a mummy and after 10yrs I will be one

Tho seems more real now as know the gender

Also weighs 1.5lbs which I'm a tad worried that is weighs that at 23w , will I be having a 10 lber ....,

Hey folks, can i join? Just had a +ve test after FET - 1st IVF failed, then pregnancy with ICSI but no heartbeat at 7 week scan. Feeling very very anxious, it's hard to wait another 3 weeks to see if this one's a keeper.

tiger, I'm so sorry, it's awful news. I hope the ERPC goes ok, if you can ask them to put your circs on your notes so they know to treat you sensitively.

I am finally home from the hospital, and feel a bit better after a night in my own bed.
I'm still getting contractions but they are painless and fairly irregular so the staff at Kings weren't worried and said I might just get them now. Early Braxton hics.

We saw the babies yesterday and they're doing ok so far, fluid levels are up and blood flow is good. It's too soon to check growth so we have to wait until next Monday for that. Xx

Glad to hear the twins are doing ok sammy. Keeping everything crossed for you all.

Rebecca Good luck for your harmony (equivalent?) results! How long must you wait to hear back? The tiredness was really the only early symptom I had, but it didn't disappear until a couple of weeks ago. I think I'm just about back to normal now, for the moment.

Stealth Five weeks to go! My DD was 9lb 15 born and I'm hoping that this one will be a tad smaller. 'Wince' indeed!!

Rosebud are they making you wait til Friday now, or is the scan still wednesday?

Afm, I had an accident on my way home on Thursday night. I ended up going to the epau on Friday morning, they found baby's heartbeat on the doppler so that reassured me. On Sunday I was just watching tv when I noticed that I had soaked through my pjs and my dressing gown. I went for a private scan yesterday and she said my cervix was closed, baby was doing well etc. She said my fluid was at 4.2 and was in normal range but just.

I know I shouldn't Google but it does seem low from what I've read. Not sure if it's because I'm only 16 week or not. Just thought I'd ask if anyone can shed any light on this? I can't really understand the charts online.
