We've got through a whole thread! Hope it's ok that I took the liberty of starting a new one.

Newbies, if you've had fertility treatment and found that it actually worked, this is the thread for you! We're a supportive group of women battling everything from scanxiety to unexplained bleeding, and we generally can't believe this is really happening for us!

First thread is here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/2584015-Pregnancy-after-infertility

Oh, what a lovely idea. I'll also donate, they both do fabulous work.
Still thinking of you blueroses and glad you have comfort and support.

Blueroses99 · 17/07/2016 22:51

Thanks so much lovely ladies xx

Ps my managers wife gave birth to their second and he just sent through a pic to the team including me 😦

Blueroses99 · 18/07/2016 13:10

This forum has been like a comfort blanket, I'm touched by your kindness and generosity in such dark days.

We have named our boy Jovan Kumar. Jovan means, in different languages, youth (Indian), father of the sky (Latin, derived from Jupiter) and son of John (DH's middle name is Jonathan so close enough). Kumar is my dad's middle name, in fact the middle name of all the men in my family for generations, and means prince. We have some peace from naming him and giving our young prince an identity in the world.

blue2014 · 18/07/2016 13:18

Beautiful name for him Blue Flowers

TabbyToes · 18/07/2016 13:38

That's such a beautiful name. How lovely that you could find something so appropriate.

I'm so sorry your manager sent that email to you. Does he know your situation? Just unforgivable if he did know.

birchygoo · 18/07/2016 13:44

What a special name. Very fitting and beautiful.

I can't believe your manager sent you a picture - I sincerely hope that he doesn't know what is happening for you.

I hope everyone else is keeping well.

Borisisback · 18/07/2016 14:35

Lovely name. I'm going to make a donation soon - nice to be able to donate in your little boys name. Lots of love to you

HP07 · 18/07/2016 14:53

Beautiful

Blueroses99 · 18/07/2016 18:20

The name suits him and the rest of the family seem to like it. Thank you for the donations in Jovan's memory. Here's a link if you wish to do so: www.justgiving.com/sands

My manager does know the situation, my sister called him on Thursday afternoon and I emailed him and the rest of my team on Saturday to let them all know.

HopefulKate1980 · 18/07/2016 18:50

I've donated via that link blueroses. Lots and lots of love and sympathy. We are all here for you xx

Grumpelstiltskin · 18/07/2016 19:10

Me too. Hope you had some lovely time with Jovan again today. X

blue2014 · 18/07/2016 20:30

Your manager is an arsehole

HopefulKate1980 · 18/07/2016 20:37

He really is. I hope you have the strength at some point to make him realise that it is completely completely unacceptable. xx

TabbyToes · 18/07/2016 21:02

What an absolute dickhead.

How are you and your husband today?

stealthbanana · 18/07/2016 22:31

Jovan is a beautiful name. I will be donating in his honour too xx

Concur with the jury that your manager is a complete wankbadger

Today has been very draining. We loved spending time with Jovan and just talking to him, and naming him was a special moment. But we also feel very sad and emotional which is exhausting. Tomorrow Jovan is being transferred to another location for the PM, and we will arrange the funeral once he returns. We had some lovely visitors today and could talk about what has happened and show pictures, very therapeutic. Just taking it one day at a time xx

bluerose - I haven't been on the thread for a while, and I will explain later at another point. I just wanted to say how sorry I am, & send you and your family my deepest sympathy. I don't know quite what to say, life is incredibly cruel. Jovan is a beautiful name. I am thinking of you and your partner.
I too will donate in Jovan's honour, the work SANDS does and is offering you is incredibly important. Thinking of you Flowers

tillyann2013 · 19/07/2016 07:25

First post from me but I've been lurking for a while. So sorry to hear of your loss blue roses, Jovan is a beautiful name for your little prince. I will make a donation via your link in his memory.
Your bosses behaviour is appalling, I'm so sorry you had to go through that.

Borisisback · 19/07/2016 08:51

Welcome tilly

HopefulKate1980 · 19/07/2016 08:57

Welcome from me too tilly

Blueroses99 · 19/07/2016 09:59

HP, stealth, birchy, mrschris, kate, wizzi, smurfy, hello, blue, vixx, boris, grumpel, harvey, zenzie, tabby, thom, tilly and anyone else reading this - I want to thank each and every one of you that has sent kind words, thoughts and prayers to me and my family. I will be setting up a memorial site/blog, it will give me something to focus on over the coming days and weeks while I try to heal. (Please PM me if you'd like to see the site when it is ready, I expect that it will take a while).

I don't get on with my manager and while I thought initially I was being over sensitive, I'm comforted by the fact that you think he's in the wrong. I've realised that some people will always say and do the wrong thing and not to take it too much to heart, I will focus on the positive messages instead.

I'd love to know how everyone else is doing, there must be some good news out there?

HP07 · 19/07/2016 10:32

I would love to see the blog when it's ready and read about your lovely boy.

I'm doing ok, thank you for asking. It is very hot today tho. Friday is my last evening at work.

Still sending you love and my thoughts every day. X

Zenzie · 19/07/2016 11:04

I'm doing fine too, blueroses. I have been thinking about you and your prince a lot. I bet he was just beautiful.

Another blood test today at 6+4 and hcg still rising well. I won't really be able to breathe out until the viability scan next Monday. Been officially discharged from my ivf provider though. My nurse was lovely but I hope never to speak to her again. Wink

How's everyone else tracking?

hellotreeshellosky · 19/07/2016 12:30

blueroses I so admire your positive focus on the support you are receiving. Your boss is an arsehole but you are right, he doesn't deserve your attention. I would like to see the site when you are ready to share.

You are so kind to think of us too. I am feeling fine at 15 weeks but had tummy and yesterday and feeling very anxious, so I'm going to take advantage of my links with local midwives and see if someone can listen in today before I go on hols.

Welcome tilly and good news Zenzie.
