We've got through a whole thread! Hope it's ok that I took the liberty of starting a new one.

Newbies, if you've had fertility treatment and found that it actually worked, this is the thread for you! We're a supportive group of women battling everything from scanxiety to unexplained bleeding, and we generally can't believe this is really happening for us!

It's so lovely to see the happy ending HP, it gives us all faith! Enjoy your snuggles.

Anomaly scan for me this morning- still expected the worst, so massive burst of adrenaline to see wee Grump looking good (so far) and wriggling around like a right sod, avoiding all positions that would have facilitated measurements. Good job we didn't want to find out the sex, as wouldn't really have been possible.
Had 2 celebratory chocolate croissants afterwards though. Score.

Hope everyone's having a good week. Sammy you have a scan soon, right?

I'm all nervous because now that is public knowledge everyone has been talking about my twins and I'm terrified it's been jinxed. I know that's silly, but it's how I feel.

Oooh, Sammy, good luck for Monday! I can totally understand you feeling like things have been jinxednow people know. I think every little thing jinxes mine, even though it doesnt make any sense. Hope you're ok.

Sammy there's nothing you can say or do that will jinx it!
I would say we all have/do feel how you do, that it can't possibly work out. When I've had my scans I've almost convinced myself nothing is there. Even now at 24 weeks I still can't believe it.

Grumps - my bubs was the same at the scan. Apparently I have a chilled baby and didn't want to turn round. Scan lady was really pressing and jiggling my tummy with scanner trying to get baby to move and flip on tummy

Eventually did. 😬

Sammy you can't jinx things but understand why you say this. I feel the same and till bubs is out and in my arms I will worry that all is ok

And then worrying for another 20yrs +

Sammy I get the jinx thing too - I know it's ridiculous but can't help but think of 'what ifs' etc. Good luck on Monday.

I have my next scan on Monday...part of me is very anxious but the other part can't wait as four weeks seem to drag by. Ideally I'd like a daily scan - I wonder if that would be covered by our health insurance?!

I hope everyone is doing well.

Finally feel ready to join you all, 15 weeks today after a 3.5 year battle on my 2nd fresh IVF round with a FET in between..... waves to blondes and drink who are my journey buddies Smile

Going to have a good read back over the thread on my London-Kent commute tonight xxx

Thanks Genghis. I will let you know either way. I'm so nervous, I wish I had some symptoms just to reassure me but I've had nothing.Confused Not even sore breast anymore. Good luck with your scan on Monday Genghis.
