I'm 39+6 today. Started getting texts and calls asking where baby is etc. no sign of baby. Feeling pretty ragey. First was 9 days late. This one is comfy. Is anyone else also feeling like they'll be pregnant FOREVER?

I'm nice on the phone the sarcastic replys stay firmly in my head. Well so far anyway.

babyconverse · 28/10/2015 17:53

Yep the constant questions are getting to me too- "any sign of baby yet" etc etc ... I've made a mental note to make sure I never again ask anything like that question!!

Ladypug · 28/10/2015 18:07

Ah I was nice too... Until about 40+5 then I just got angry. Fed up with being asked now, ragey and massive, everyone needs to leave me alone or buy me chocolate!

CishAndFips · 28/10/2015 18:10

I second the chocolates

sophiaslullaby · 28/10/2015 18:49

It would soften the blow "Any sign of baby? Here have a tub of Quality Streets"

Iamnotloobrushphobic · 28/10/2015 19:51

I have been out of the club for 9 days now after going into labour at 40+5 but I just wanted to pop in snd offer some support to you ladies in what will hopefully be your last days of being pregnant forever.
In my final days I felt like murdering anyone who asked me if I 'was still hanging on'.

8 hours before I went into labour a total stranger stopped me in the shop to tell me that I was huge and looked ready to just lie down and give birth and then asked me if I was having twins. I felt ready to cry as I was so fed up, so those hormones of wanting to cry or commit murder might be a good sign that labour isn't too far away.

Hehe thanks loobrush! That's reasurring! I'm starting to give in to induction now as nothing seems to be happening!

CishAndFips · 28/10/2015 20:53

Thanks loobrush I really hope so.

babyconverse · 29/10/2015 07:36

Hope there's been some action overnight. Nothing here though... Finding loobrushs post reassuring

CishAndFips · 29/10/2015 08:20

No still here more to the pity.

Lemonfizzypop · 29/10/2015 08:27

Nowt here. Angry

sophiaslullaby · 29/10/2015 08:41

None, here. Had a romantic and 'friendly' evening with DH...I was achey, sore and it hasn't worked so far. Put me off trying it again so will stick to walking and birthing ball bouncing.

sophiaslullaby · 29/10/2015 08:42

Haha, I mean achey and sore from the pregnancy not DTD - I'm hardly that adventurous at this size!!Grin

CishAndFips · 29/10/2015 09:16

I'm currently on the ball went for a very long walk yesterday and still nothing geesh this baby is stubborn.

Ladypug · 29/10/2015 09:42

Nothing here either, just bad back pain that went away again! I've done walking, cleaning, bouncing... I'm chilling out today, screw it!

CishAndFips · 29/10/2015 11:12

Haha lady my sentiments exactly.

sophiaslullaby · 29/10/2015 16:11

Ooo, I've nearly burst with anger - have had a busy day with health advisor over, cleaned house, MIL calls, friend calls, neighbour popping in, tesco delivery, argument with Royal Mail for loosing my parcel.
So have JUST sat down to enjoy 'me' time with a magazine and bloody door to door salesman turns up!! Timing buddy.

Anyone else getting people telling you to enjoy these last few days of peace, to relax and put your feet up but you can't because everyone is demanding your attention?!

Ladypug · 29/10/2015 17:51

Haha yes Sophia! People are constantly asking me where the baby is or telling me how fat I am or how lucky I am to have nothing to do and how hard it will be when baby arrives, make the most of it etc etc ARGH!!!!

sophiaslullaby · 29/10/2015 20:19

T'ahh, why would people comment on your weight/size at such a time? People seem to have no 'comment filter' sometimes, Ignore them Smile

CishAndFips · 29/10/2015 20:57

I'm well and truly in ignore mode. Stupid comments drive me insane. I don't understand why being pregnant gives everybody to make comments. Yes I am well aware of how big I am tell me again and I will eat you.

Ladypug · 29/10/2015 21:08

Haha I know! It's the worst week to tell me. I'm like 'look, im not sleeping, I'm over a week overdue, I have heartburn, I can't close my legs and I have something that feels like a bowling ball made of steel between them. Talk to me again and you won't survive the rest of the day!'

CishAndFips · 30/10/2015 07:29

40+6 come on already this baby so needs to come out now.

Lemonfizzypop · 30/10/2015 07:38

Snap!
Very glad it's nearly the weekend so I'll have dh around to amuse me, I'm soooooo borrrrred.

CishAndFips · 30/10/2015 08:06

The Bordem is awful isn't it. I'm trying so hard to keep DS entertained over half term but it's so hard x

Ladypug · 30/10/2015 08:51

Seriously. Can't. Be. Pregnant. Much. Longer. I was up for every hour last night as everything hurts but nothing is happening!
