I'm 39+6 today. Started getting texts and calls asking where baby is etc. no sign of baby. Feeling pretty ragey. First was 9 days late. This one is comfy. Is anyone else also feeling like they'll be pregnant FOREVER?

Good luck!!! I read that it's a supermoon today and increased chance of people giving birth. Clutching at straws but i'm praying today is the day!

I read that too and hoping it works for me. I'm contemplating going out side waving my belly around and doing a moon dance if nothing's happened tonight.

Hoping I can join- I'm 40 + 2 and really really ready now. Walking is painful but no signs whatsoever.... Worrying about induction but hoping something happens sooner!

Welcome baby I would rather avoid induction also but baby is firmly staying put it seems 40+3 today.?

Can I join? I'm 41+1 today, started contractions on Saturday night and they keep coming and going. had a show a few times now too- failed sweep yesterday (my uterus is tilted and I knew she would have trouble reaching it..) But baby very low down apparently..

Im sooo fat now too- I am shocked at how much I actually weigh, the stress of going over due has made me eat so much crap in the last couple of weeks. Im terrified of induction but Im willing to just let them book me in now so I can look forward to getting my body back. nervous as hell though...

Wow Ollie you poor thing! You've been having contractions since Saturday?! That's insane! By the way... What do contractions feel like? I hope your baby comes soon!

Its so frustrating! they come and go but im often woken up in the middle of the night by them and they always fizzle out! I can feel them building up from a period pain to a very strong, sharp tight pain in the front of my bump, then my pelvis is on fire, then my back! At the peak it sometimes takes my breath away. Im hypnobirthing so am trying to use them to practise, not doing too bad so far but im so tired.

Goodness Ollie I hope things progress soon!

Had a failed sweep yesterday, I have an "unfavourable cervix" (how rude). She gave me the biggest sanitary towel I've ever seen to wear afterwards I was like "erm but you didn't do anything up there" (I didn't say that I put it in to be polite then removed it in the toilet afterwards)

Aaaaaaaggghhhhhh.

No signs here either. Just been for a very long walk and have some mild period type times but it's more of a mild constant ache so I'm probably reading too much into it.?

Went for massive walk yesterday. Woke up 3am this morning feeling full of energy, couldn't go back to sleep. Cleaned the house today... Still nothing!

How many weeks and days is everyone now?

Was thinking about going swimming today but didn't because I was worried about infection if my waters broke- not sure why I was worried now tbh as they patently haven't gone..

41+1 here had enough now! I was going to go swimming at weekend and didn't in case waters went in the pool, really wished I had now as no sign of baby!

Hello, may i join? 40 weeks today and liking this end of marathon support. I have my sweep next Tues - hope my cervix isn't unfavourable!!
People keep asking if I'm excited and reminding me of my due date.. (cue lots of exclamation marks and smiley faces) and I've just told an overly excited friend that I'm more excited about my beef stew tonight...it's my coping strategy, to focus on one day at a time, but i don't think she understood and hasn't responded to me :-/

Exactly, but what's harder is staying nice because people are excited out of happiness for you. Just a shame they can't limit the texts to once a week! One person who doesn't call/text is my Mum and she loves me dearly, she's just being respectful and knows she's the first person I'll call when anything happens.
I'll probably be on mumsnet telling you all before anyone else as well, haha!
