Something not right... Stillbirth?

This is my 3rd pregnancy. It has felt totally different to the previous two the whole way along, and now I'm 40wks but haven't felt any movement at all for 12hours, and she's been slowing all week. The other two came at 38wks. Husband is not home and I have no one to leave kids with if I went to a&e/antenatal ward. If something had gone wrong would there be any signs? Ive not had a show, or any bleeding, but have had a bit of standard looking discharge. I just can't shake the feeling something isn't right.

Glad all is ok. Cannot believe they tried to put you off as they were busy. Terrible. I went in with reduced movements and got a bollocking for waiting an hour for DH to get home to watch the DCs. They said I should always come immediately and bring them with. All 3 of mine were delivered early after episodes of reduced movements. I also have 2 friends who have had still born babies who blame themselves for not acting sooner on reduced movement.

Have you talked with midwives about pro's and con's of a C/S OP?
Now you're in hospital it should be possible to talk about care plan options?
I think we'll all be much happier when this baby is out - not that it's about us

Great news. I also apologise to you and other readers for giving incorrect advice. I was told that movements slow a bit as the baby gets cramped, probably what the midwife meant was that they can change slightly and be a bit harder to feel? Anyway it seems as though it wasn't accurate and I'm sorry.
