Something not right... Stillbirth?

This is my 3rd pregnancy. It has felt totally different to the previous two the whole way along, and now I'm 40wks but haven't felt any movement at all for 12hours, and she's been slowing all week. The other two came at 38wks. Husband is not home and I have no one to leave kids with if I went to a&e/antenatal ward. If something had gone wrong would there be any signs? Ive not had a show, or any bleeding, but have had a bit of standard looking discharge. I just can't shake the feeling something isn't right.

Just back from hospital and all
Ok. The first midwife couldn't find a heartbeat so I was rushed for a scan which showed baby is fine, super low down, but ok. As I'm 40 weeks and at the older end of the scale they've given me a sweep to try and start me off, the membrane is about 1cm thick instead of two so the hope is that a bit of a prod will remind my body to go into labour by morning. Thanks for the handholding and pushes to trust my instinct. I love mumsnet.
