Oh tinx, you poor love, how are you today? I hope the bleeding has stopped? X

Topsy34 · 07/09/2015 22:09

Just been trying to catch up, hello to everyone new! I've not been on this thread for ages, sorry.

A little upsate from me....i will 30 weeks tomorrow!! Hooray! :)

Tftpoo · 08/09/2015 08:59

Morning all. Does anyone know if morning sickness can start at the end of the first trimester? Been pretty much ok up to now but the last 24 hours I've been sick and had terrible indigestion - hoping it's a bug that will go away quickly rather than something pregnancy related that will go on for weeks. I'm 12+3 today.

kbbeanie · 08/09/2015 10:19

Hope you are all keeping well.

i think im about to have my 3 mc :( was feeling very positive about it all up until yesterday ....ive got really bad lower back pain and lower stomach cramps today and just don't feel right at all ...i think im 5+2 today. Got an appt with my GP this afternoon to see if she can get me in with the early pregnancy clinic in the morning for hcg bloods. I was supposed to have already been referred to the EPU but the stupid doctors sent the referral to the wrong place and instead i was offered a booking in appt for weeks away so they sent off another referral to EPU yesterday ! im not willing to wait out any longer now to get seen i just want them to do the 48 hour bloods and put me out of my misery !

DisneyMillie · 08/09/2015 13:16

So sorry kbbeanie but try and keep positive. I had loads of cramping with my dd (to the extent I could sit up for longer than about half an hour for a week!) and she was fine. Conversely - no pain at all with mmc so things might still be fine.

I'm trying to keep positive - seeing doctor today as had 21 day test last week (feel a bit stupid now! But maybe it will show a progesterone problem?). I'm now 4 weeks exactly with a nice strong frer line but slightly worried that I don't feel sick or sore bb or anything Confused

kbbeanie · 08/09/2015 17:14

disney I think i found out around 4 weeks all 3 times and my symptoms havent kicked in until 5+ with all the pregnancies and with my first ds i had no symptoms at all didnt know i was pregnant till 8 weeks and even then i only did a test because my mother forced me to do one ! i have had sore bb's past couple days i think im 5 and half weeks now. not very much nausea yet....ive felt sick all day today but i think its with worry tbh.
Hope if your 21 day test shows something they will be able to do something about it

melonface · 08/09/2015 17:51

tftpoo my morning sickness started at 10 weeks and lasted til 14 weeks!

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 09/09/2015 00:36

Hope it's not mc beanie fx for you, I've had a lot of odd cramps this pg that I didn't have with the last two that mc'd, so it could be fine...hopefully bloods will reflect that x

tft hope the sickness clears up quickly x

disney try not to worry, most women don't get symptoms until weeks 5-6 even later for some x

topsy congrats x

DisneyMillie · 09/09/2015 07:15

That's interesting thanks - always just seems on these sites that everyone is throwing up from 5dpo!!

My doctor appt was good yesterday - progesterone levels 35 at 7dpo so that's good.

But my blood pressure was up. To be honest I'm not surprised - between this new pregnancy, being up the night before with my dd with croup and a very stressful time at work I'd be amazed if it wasn't!! Got to go back Friday to recheck but in the meantime going to try and destress my life and chat to work about my work load

Hope everyone is feeling good today.

Metalhead · 09/09/2015 09:26

Disney the first time I went to my GP to tell him I was pregnant my BP was really high, which was not surprising considering I was shaking like a leaf. I had to go back twice to get it checked again and it kept being high, so I bought a little machine to check it at home and every reading there was absolutely normal. Typical white coat syndrome!

Nousername2015 · 09/09/2015 09:51

disney Another white coat syndrome over here! My bp and pulse have measured high at every appointment so far and normal every time I've had it checked at my in-laws/the pharmacy. This has come on since I miscarried, I think once a doc or midwife knows about previous events for us they tend to expect higher readings. That's just in my experience though.

meganlilly89 · 09/09/2015 12:36

Haven't posted in a while..

Having another panic now.. Brown discharge? Well i think it is on a panty liner, nothing when I wipe other than normal discharge maybe. No pains etc is this normal??

I'm 10+4. Had two scans already and everything was fine. I just can't help but worry

Babytinx11 · 09/09/2015 15:53

Sorry I haven't updated was in again with another big bleed they let me out yesterday as it was settling still bleeding but not heavy can't really relax but bean is doing good. Booked with the midwife today which is a bit scary

Nousername2015 · 09/09/2015 16:33

Hope all is ok meganlilly If it reassures at all I ended up with an early scan at 9+5 as I had the same over a few days, all was fine and they couldn't explain why it happened. It cleared up about a week later so maybe everything does a bit of growing around then?

babytinx So sorry you are having such an awful time of it. I really hope it clears up soon, or that they can find a reason and give you some reassurance. Booking in is a positive step, well done!

kbbeanie · 09/09/2015 17:37

megan Hope everything is ok. Maybe you could ring the clinic for an another scan for some reassurance. Brown discharge is considered normal but i know i would be in a complete panic !

babytinx just been reading through the whole thread the past couple of days and what an awful time you have been having. Really hope they find a cause of the bleeding soon and i goes away and you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

I had my appt with EPU this morning. There is a tiny sac very very tiny in the uterus which would prob add up with me thinking im a max of 5+3 today ! They also found 2 large cysts ovary which might explain the low down right abdominal pain although im not too reassured by that as ive had the same pain past 2 pregnancies and had a cyst in the last one not as big but there and the pregnancies still ended. They done hcg and my levels came back at 2136 which im happy about because in the last 2 pregnancies they didnt get much above 1000. Ive to go back on friday to see if my levels are doubling. Fingers crossed they are and im hoping these cysts wont cause any issues they said they may do surgery but when she spoke to the consultant he said they would watch and wait ! But i feel a tiny tiny bit more positive also trying not to get my hopes up !

Bejeena · 09/09/2015 17:41

Thanks everyone for all the encouragement on this thread, you are all fab.

I called the doctor and am booked in for scan on Friday, I think I will be 6+3 so hoping for a heartbeat fingers crossed.

Metalhead · 09/09/2015 19:22

baby so glad to hear your little bean is doing ok, though obviously the bleeding must still be very upsetting.

Good luck for Friday bejeena, I hope you get some reassurance.

I've been feeling pretty rough again the last two days, surely at 27+2 I'm due a break from all the headaches and nausea?!

Reebok · 09/09/2015 20:05

Hello all, haven't been on this thread in a while. Am really unwell: been in hospital as I was severely dehydrated. I've been diagnosed with hyperemesis again. Had it with dd for half of my pregnancy. The other half I just had nausea. Feeling like death at the moment. Cannot keep anything down including water. On several medications to help cut down on being sick but doesn't seem to be doing much. I'm hoping it means the pregnancy is strong and healthy but to be honest I had mild hyperemesis in my pregnancy before dd which I mc. So this is utter torture! I don't know how much more I can take. Anyway just wanted a rant. Thanks!

dobbythedoggy · 09/09/2015 21:13

reebok so sorry you're so ill. You're having a misserable time of it! I hope you continue to have the strength to get from moment to moment.

baby how scarry, hope it settels down soon and you don't get anymore bleeding.

15 weeks today, a week tomorrow I've got my 16 week appointment with the midwife. I know they listen for heartbeat at in our area, asked the midwife who works at our practice who goes to our church. She said they wouldn't hesertate to send me for a scan if they couldn't find anything and said with the time of the appointment it would likely be the same day. They found a heart beat with dd easily when I was only 15 weeks but don't quite feel like that's particually reasuring. Booked the appointment at a time that dh could take dd, but now insisting he comes too for support. Also a bit worried about blood presure, normally the very bottom end of normal but when it was taken before I saw the consultant only just in the higher edge of normal. Slightly worried about having developed a bit of white coat syndrom since mc.

BeckleinDisguise · 10/09/2015 11:22

Hello everyone, just sneaking in quietly for a little hand holding. I got a very surprise BFP at the weekend, I think I'm due 10th May so I'm 5+2 judging from my last AF. I've got huge sore boobs and have been a bit restless/sweaty at night but no other symptoms other than a few twinges I'm putting down to stretching.

All being well this will be my 4th child, my other DCs are all older, DH is currently not very happy and I'm not really believing it, very worried about MC as although unplanned this baby is not unwanted, not by me anyhow!

I've had 3 MMC in the past but as they weren't consecutive I'm not entitled to any early scans. I also had half my thyroid removed a couple of years ago, thankfully it functions on its own but I am still worried in case it doesn't to well enough during this early stage of pg. I had my routine test 2 weeks ago and it was within normal limits and the Dr has agreed to give me another blood test in 2 weeks. So many worries, I am using little milestones as stepping stones at the moment.

I've not told friends or family yet, just my boss at work so I can avoid lifting.

Tftpoo · 10/09/2015 20:14

Oh dear reebok, sorry you're feeling so rough. And metal, 27 weeks is a long time to feel sick. I really hope things improve for you.

How are you getting on tinx? Has the bleeding settled?

Hi beckle, welcome, hope you have a very uneventful pregnancy!

I am feeling a lot better than earlier in the week, I think the stomach pain and sickness was really bad trapped wind, nice! A couple of days of sitting with my bum in the air and drinking peppermint tea has helped. Didn't have this with my first pregnancy, it's so unglamorous!

I get the white coat syndrome thing too. Ever since the mc I feel very stressed about seeing the doctor or mw and i turn into an emotional wreck as soon as I'm through the door.

northdownmummy · 11/09/2015 08:57

Arghh chocked with the cold, achey pelvis, insomnia, heartburn and piles.....its crap symptom bingo
