Hiya, i'm nine weeks pregnant and way more emotional than i ever have been when pregnant before. I cry at the drop of a hat. I was feeling dreadful the other night and cried when d gave me a blanket. but the stupidest was last night, we were watching Gordan Ramseys kitchen nightmares, and i started sobbing when he told the chef that his meal was nice! I can't be alone... Any one?

Reading the words to, 'Save All Your Kisses For Me' by Brotherhood of Man in the newspaper. Oh yes.

When my dishwasher broke down...actually I think I'd cry even if I wasn't pregnant!

Macneil: despite the teariness, I too have found my inner tiger.

It's great, isn't it?

Grrrrr...

a shower head

hatwoman · 15/11/2006 20:31

I flew into a rage about it first. then cried.

Watching Charlie Russell documentary about his work with grizzly bears and feeling humble because he knew the real value of life, lol. Oh and that Polar Bear one too, when it dug a hole in snow and prepared to die due to a combination of infection and starvation. It looked like my dogs,Samoyeds, and I was in bits.

Animals will get me ever time,

PT - just read your op properly - I welled up at GR last night - and I'm not even pg (but don;t tell dh)

hatwoman · 15/11/2006 20:33

I meant don;t tell him about gr, not that I'm not pg...

tidyjane · 15/11/2006 20:59

I'm 21 weeks and the last time I cried was today when I was reading my dd a Christmas story before her nap.
It was when the little girl from the story gets to have a ride with Santa, just the picture made me cry so I couldn't finish the sentence. Embarassing.
I'm also over excited about Christmas, I started buying Xmas books from mid October
and listening to Xmas CDS now....

the AA advert (the one with the singing)

PocketTasha · 15/11/2006 21:09

Hatwoman, I really did feel sorry for the guy, and Gordan Ramsey is so nasty, when he is nice it makes it worse!

Tidyjane theres a book that makes me cry everytime, much worse when pg, it's called "guess how much i love you", about two hares. I think everyone must have heard it. But i can't read it to the kids cos it makes me cry too much.

PocketTasha · 15/11/2006 21:25

Just read some of this to dh (so he knows that his wife is in fact perfectly normal!) He's currently phsl over msmalumbas's "cheese and tomato sandwich" .
He teases me too, still tells everyone about the phone in the fridge incident.

I absolutely lost it in the first 10 mins of Finding Nemo. "How is he going to manage without his muuummmmyy?" she wailed....

flamesparrow · 15/11/2006 21:37

So many of thewse things I cried over... the KFC buket... Mobley the mobile phone... Not Nemo, but Lilo and Stitch (in the cinema with no children) "I'm Lost!!!"

PocketTasha · 15/11/2006 21:39

oh beansprout so did i... Dh is always teasing me for being a wimp about films, but when after the first few minutes of finding nem i turned to him and said "i'm not sure i can watch this" he didn't beleive me! I persevered and watched it, (glad i did or it would still traumatise me now).

sammysam · 16/11/2006 08:45

So so many things and i'm still very bad now especially when it comes to those NSPCC adverts ......... or anything baby/child related (I sob my little heart out!)

When pregnent though I think it must heve been when we were in a curtain shop and I couldn't decide which fabric to choose-that started me off then it just got worse til just before we left by this point sobbing the really lovely concerned woman in the shop said she'd help me make the curtains .........so kind. Was so bad though that I couldn't ever face going back!!!!

I cried at Shrek at the terribly sad moment when it looks like Shrek and Fiona won't get together

cupcakes · 16/11/2006 09:02

I cried my eyes out at Ikea at the weekend. I lost dh for about 15 minutes and when I found him again I started sobbing in the middle of the store. He was quite stressed too as I am 35 weeks and he thought I'd gone into labour or similar.
My over active imagination convinced me that he'd been abducted.

BettySpaghetti · 16/11/2006 09:13

I cried over a car park space -some twunt in a big 4WD pulled into it when I was quite obviously indicating with reversing lights on about to park in it. Ignorant ar$e then totally ignored me as i got out of my car , went up to his open window and ranted at him. He got out and walked off without even making eye contact. I sobbed!

judemum · 16/11/2006 09:21

I cried (proper full on hysterical sobbing) at the end of Green Card the other week, when Andie McDowell and Gerard Depardieu realise they do love each other after all, but its all too late....and there's nothing they can do...

DH couldn't believe it and I just couldn't stop...

makes me want to cry now actually, but am pg.

Also, my DS1 said for the first time the other day "I love you" and I couldn't speak for the huge lump in my throat. DH still takes the piss... again, could quite easily cry ow thinking about this!
