Hiya, i'm nine weeks pregnant and way more emotional than i ever have been when pregnant before. I cry at the drop of a hat. I was feeling dreadful the other night and cried when d gave me a blanket. but the stupidest was last night, we were watching Gordan Ramseys kitchen nightmares, and i started sobbing when he told the chef that his meal was nice! I can't be alone... Any one?

I was strangely (and embarrassingly ) in floods of tears at that film Knocked Up. Totally inexplicable since it's a funny film with a happy ending.

it's a bit wierd but I have cried much much less than normal since becoming pregnant. Only once in 20 weeks, as opposed to about once a week normally. Strange.

Boasted to my friend that I hadn't been at all hormonal and weepy then the next morning was sobbing because I decided that my DH wasn't listening to me. Poor DH was very bemused .

Any kind oflive music used to make me cry ( apsrt from singing in assembly) I was on oxford st near christmas and there was a brass band playing and My friend wanted to go and listen I could even cross the road. We also went to the royal opera house and I sobbed and sobbed there.
I saw that documentary red kennedy, It was great.

I hit my head on part of a sloping ceiling in the shower and bawled - hardly touched it really.

Does anyone else have days when you just feel "on the brink" all the time? On these days I could cry at the drop of a hat (usually when I'm tired). At other times I can be as hard as nails. I watched a really distressing programme the other night about orphans in Bulgaria and didn't shed a tear although it kept me awake for a long time .

Definitely sarahlou - if I wake up tired I cry, and if I'm still crying in the car on my way to work then I know I'm going to spend most of the day in the loo sobbing! Other days I'm completely fine...

When pregnant with dd1 I once cried at the Pampers advert - the baby was sooooo cute.

Another time, I got off the bus at my mums hoping someone would offer to drive me the 5 min walk home as it was the middle of Feb, freezing and pouring down with rain. My bro thought hed be a smart ar*e and wind me up by making some comment bout me not living there any more and i should go home out of his road. I stormed out started walking home, then the rain go heavier so I started crying feeling sorry for myself (spd pain really bad too), then to top it off a car sped past right through a puddle and soaked me. Needless to say DP couldnt stop laughing for about half an hour when I eventually told him what I was crying for. He still tells folk to this day.

Cotton commercials. "The touch, the feel of cottonnnn......The fabric of our lives."

Du still teases me about it

dh even. I really hate predictive and self-correcting text. The text setters need to look at the mn acronym glossary!

I cried a little bit in the car last week when I couldn't find the right lane at the roundabout...but I am learning to drive and it is stressful so that is my excuse!

However am STILL welling up every time I think of my last visit to Tescos...I am 28wks with no.1 and a wee baby/toddler in the trolley next to us looked at my bump, gave me a big smile and said "mama" !! blub!

starshaker · 22/09/2007 10:01

i once cried hysterically cos the traffic lights changed to red (how sad is that)

sazzybee · 22/09/2007 10:02

I cried because the man in front of me in the queue at Waitrose put his briefcase on the belt so I couldn't empty my basket. I have never felt more pathetic in my life
