Hiya, i'm nine weeks pregnant and way more emotional than i ever have been when pregnant before. I cry at the drop of a hat. I was feeling dreadful the other night and cried when d gave me a blanket. but the stupidest was last night, we were watching Gordan Ramseys kitchen nightmares, and i started sobbing when he told the chef that his meal was nice! I can't be alone... Any one?

The animals that get preyed upon on Planet Earth.

Did anyone see that poor little baby gosling hanging out of that arctic fox's mouth on Sunday?

I screamed and DP had to turn it over. It was still chirping the poor thing.

I could still cry now over that.

Cue DP 'It's the circle of life etc etc'.

Booboobedoo · 15/11/2006 17:06

Oh, god, yes lovemyboy. And how about the troupe of baby penguins that got lost and died. I howled.

(Am also pregnant, I hasten to add).

Also I burned my Christmas cake last week. I sat down on the kitchen floor and sobbed my heart out. DH came in, took in the situation, calmly cut the burnt outside bit off, then made me a cup of tea. Not even a snigger.

He is a saint.

talking about KFC buckets, what about the mobile phone that gets abandoned, dies and goes to heaven? That could be a music video though. Or a carton of milk? urggghh eggy brain!

Booboobedoo · 15/11/2006 17:09

Blueshoes: that's a mobile phone commercial.

And it's very sad.

Blandmum · 15/11/2006 17:22

The music for Childrens Hospital. I knew better than to watch the program, but this was just hearing the music ffs!

PocketTasha · 15/11/2006 17:30

ilovemyboy I just won't go near any programs like that when pregnant. I know in advance that it'll end in tears.. Literally!

I cried when a cafe I was in could only do me a fancy toasted mozarella and sundried tomato sandwich when all I wanted was a plain cheese and tomato one. I was 8 weeks pregnant with jet lag and very very hungry. I sobbed, and DH just sat and stared at me like he could not believe what happened to his wife. He still teases me about it now 6 years later - he puts this pouty face on and goes "I just want a cheese and tomato sandwich".

biglips · 15/11/2006 17:39

When Dp raised his voice slightly at me, he burst out crying (i usually fight back but couldnt!!)

so if anyone shouted at me...my bottom lip would go!

jamieboo · 15/11/2006 17:40

i brought myself some jammy dodgers and came home to find dp digging into them. at first i went ballistic and started throwing stuff at him (mainly pillows... il say mainly and leave it at that!) and then i just stopped, looked at the half empty packet and cried for about half an hour!
Dp said when I calmed down he thought i was going to break up with him for it! Then I started off again!
this makes me feel so normal!

K8M · 15/11/2006 17:41

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and cried at the weekend because I couldn't get my socks on. And I cried last night becuase ... well, because it was a Tuesday...

CorrieDale · 15/11/2006 17:43

At Bobinogs when they are learning that it's doing your best that counts, not whether or no you win.

Saturn74 · 15/11/2006 17:46

I cried when very pregnant with DS1 because I thought I'd lost our telephone.

The I cried again when I heard it ringing and realised that I'd put it in the fridge.

PocketTasha · 15/11/2006 17:53

humphrycushion

scroll down and you'll see i did the exact same thing with the phone! I think it was because i was making tea... I'd left a pint of milk on our sideboard in the living room

Sorry PocketTasha - I hadn't read the whole thread.

Great minds think alike, eh? - or perhaps not so great in this instance.

lovelybird · 15/11/2006 18:08

absolutely everything but my worst has to be 'Cash in the Attic'(blush)

earthtomummy · 15/11/2006 19:25

The golf...

WideWebWitch · 15/11/2006 19:27

I cried because the tube was too full. And went home, rather than to work, I was distraught.

JoJo30 · 15/11/2006 19:31

Been crying a lot with frustration at not being able to cope with basic stuff, like cooking an omelette. I drove to work in floods of tears one day after hearing the New Order song World in Motion on the radio.

macneil · 15/11/2006 19:38

I have cried so much LESS! I used to be a total baby, and have become hard as nails, and angry and violent. I walk around wanting to punch people, I'm so scrappy. I like me like this, I hope I get to keep it post-birth.

liath · 15/11/2006 19:39

Cried every time I watched an athlete get a gold medal at the olympics.

PMSL at this thread, vintage stuff!
