Hi guys! I'm still lurking around on MN though am on FB as well! 20+5 here, had anomaly scan Monday and all fine (and on team blue!!)

gennibugs · 02/08/2015 13:47

Tootle - how lovely you got to hear the heartbeat! Hopefully you will feel movement very soon!

onefoot glad is all well with you. I'm planning to go on maternity leave from 23 October so roughly the same time as you. It feels so near but still so far!! Makes me realise I should start getting organised.

bristolian - congratulations on being team blue!!! How exciting!! Now you can get thinking names and planning Smile

I am having a lazy day today. I had a very hormonal sob on DHs shoulder for about an hour this morning so I think maybe I've overdone things the past few weeks and need a day to just relax and just browse the internet for baby things! I feel very tense and like life is this never ending treadmill that I just can't get off sometimes!

Tootle10 · 02/08/2015 16:18

Managed to fall down the last 4 or 5 stairs at home last night (no idea how), got a cracking bruise on my bum and another on my forearm. Didn't hit my front and after much googling, feel slightly reassured I'm unlikely to have hurt the baby. I may have had a little cry though Going to call the midwife tomorrow morning as I'm rhesus negative and want to check I don't need an injection.

We're having dress down August in work and I currently have one pair of maternity jeans that fit me that I may have spilt food on earlier Might be time to hit the shops soon!

Arh Bristol a boy, it is a very blue thread, I do have moments when I wish I had found out.

Genni it does seem like forever away but it's 12 weeks on Saturday and I have a week off in between something like end of September. I can not WAIT, hopefully I will get 5 ish weeks of rest.i only wish I could have a lazy day, everything is hard with a 3yo.

Tootle hope your ok my love, I read the other week that your centre of gravity changes as your dump grows. I also read that you become clumsy too, thankgod I now have an excuse ???? (although I will need another excuse come December).

Bristolian1 · 03/08/2015 06:37

Oh tootle that's the last thing you need! Hope the bruises are setting down.

Onefoot it IS nice knowing the sex, but would also have been an amazing surprise! You'll be so happy when you find out yours!

I'm lying awake with stupid rhinitis, keeps me awake every morning!! Grrrrr.

onefootinthebed · 06/08/2015 09:23

Hi ladies.
I am truly in my nesting period. Today I have arranged to get new Lino in the bathroom an oven clean and the boiler serviced, all thanks of course to a small win on the lottery last week. Usually I would of spent it on me my ds or the baby, but hey ho. Ideally we need a new boiler just can't stretch that far at the min.

Hope your all good and your bruises are better tootle.

Tootle10 · 10/08/2015 08:21

Hope you're all well, seems very quiet here so hopefully everyone's enjoying their lovely pregnancies!

Bruises are just about faded. Called the midwives and they weren't too concerned, only need the Anti-D injection if you fall on your front apparently. Think it was just clumsiness!

Still waiting to feel movements. 18+1 now so had hoped I'd be able to by now... And of course, starting to panic that I can't. My 20 week scan is on 17 August so just got to keep waiting anxiously until then. When does the worrying stop?!

gennibugs · 11/08/2015 18:44

tootle I don't think the worrying ever stops! Well not that I can see.

onefoot sounds like you are being very productive. I'm currently busy selling loads of stuff of eBay and gumtree in an attempt to clear space and make some money. Then I can start to get organised. DH is so so so relaxed it's unreal - he'd happily just pop out to the shops the day before my due date to get everything if he could!! Angry

onefootinthebed · 11/08/2015 18:59

Tootle I think you have felt something but maybe not realised.

Genni wasn't as productive as it sounded, the man didn't turn up to check the boiler and the man cleaning the oven broke the door, turned out to be a wasted day felt like crying by 5pm.

17yh of August isn't far away ooh exciting .

onefootinthebed · 16/08/2015 15:56

Tootle good luck tomorrow zz

Tootle10 · 16/08/2015 18:16

Thanks onefoot. It feels like it's come round quite quickly but definitely getting anxious now. Thought I felt some movements the other day but not enough to be sure and nothing since. Hoping for some reassurance tomorrow. Hope you're keeping well x

gennibugs · 16/08/2015 22:58

Good luck tootle, hope all goes well x

Tootle10 · 17/08/2015 09:58

Thank you! All looking good at the scan, feeling very relieved. Baby was wriggling round plenty but the sonographer managed all the checks. Decided to stay team yellow. Feel like I can relax and maybe start to enjoy it a bit more now Smile

onefootinthebed · 17/08/2015 18:32

So pleased tootle.

I've been so clumsy today apparently it's a pregnancy thing .....Hmm never heard of it before but someone in work today me it was.

gennibugs · 17/08/2015 22:57

Fantastic news tootle!! Grin I hope now you can start to relax a little too, it's hard though I know.

onefoot I am very clumsy too - didn't know it was a preg thing! I've also definitely got pregnancy brain - I'm incapable of processing what people are saying to me!!

XXSOPHIEXX · 09/09/2015 12:01

Hi,

Am I on the right thread? I am pregnant after 3 losses and am petrified, I only found out 3 days ago and my emotions are all over the place! I do not want to be happy or excited as it??s so early (4 weeks) and I do not want to go back to the state I was in with my other losses (the last in june) all my tests have come back clear and I have been told to take low dose asprin which I am doing but I am so terribly anxious about all this happening again.. but equally trying to remain calm so that I do not put strain on myself! Haha I am hoping I am in the right place ??

carrie1008 · 15/10/2015 16:41

Hi XXSOPHIEXX

I'm also newly pregnant...so new that I haven't even told my OH yet (he's on a course until Sunday). I've had two miscarriages in the last 18 months, one a MM at 11 weeks and a "failure to grow" at 8 weeks. I'm petrified that this won't work out too. I really want to try to get an early scan in a few weeks, but don't know if my EPU will accept a referral from my Dr...anyone got any suggestions? Smile

northdownmummy · 20/11/2015 22:23

Hi ladies, I got a lot of support from this thread when trying to get pregnant after my miscarriage. Just stopping by again to share that my DD is now 4 weeks old. There are days when I got very low and didn't think it'd ever happen but the other ladies on this group truly understood.

A big thank you to all and good luck too
