Lol no chasing but I did feel like every time I moved I felt waves in my stomache. I only hope it looked like a ripple from the outside lol.

Bristolian1 · 13/07/2015 13:43

Happy Monday ladies! Hope you all had good weekends... Any exciting scans/milestones this week? I've still got 2 weeks to go til 20 week scan... Feels like time is going so slowly!!

onefootinthebed · 13/07/2015 14:17

Hi ladies

Hope
You all had a lovely weekend, back to work for me today so no more time wasting on mumsnet for me, damm and blast.

I haven 20 week scan on Wednesday nice and early at 8.30 am. I not feeling as nervous as I can feel the baby move now a lot ( I am saying that now tomorrow I will be dreading it x

onefootinthebed · 13/07/2015 14:18

Oh and Bristol I agree, I feel like these 8 weeks have taken for ever to come.

Bristolian1 · 13/07/2015 16:54

Ooh Wednesday onefoot! That's exciting! I'm not sure I can wait another 2 weeks.

When did you guys start feeling movement? I can't feel anything yet... Should I? It's my first and I'm 18 weeks now.

onefootinthebed · 13/07/2015 18:40

With my first it was about 22 weeks, for me this time I felt it at 17 or 18 weeks because it was just like the baby done a somersault I wanted to vomit, to be fair it was proably because I was sitting quietly not paying attention to any thing that made me helped me feel it because of I was busy at work I proably wouldn't of felt it anything. There is always a little movement about 10pm for me that's when I sit down with s drink.

Barbiedoll79 · 14/07/2015 16:17

Good luck tomorrow one foot :-) x

Good luck tomo Onefoot!

Also.. I felt dd around 21 weeks xx

Tootle10 · 14/07/2015 20:41

Good luck tomorrow onefoot!

All quiet here, still waiting for NT results, got ages to wait for my 20 week scan on 17 August. I start pregnancy yoga tomorrow evening, it's run by the midwives. It's been really busy in work so looking forward to relaxing at yoga.

Went to mothercare on Saturday - not buying anything yet but starting to research prams and furniture. There's so much choice, struggling to know where to start!

Hope everyone's well. I'm starting to get a little bump which I love Smile

onefootinthebed · 14/07/2015 21:12

Thanks ladies, I thought I wouldn't be nervous as I can feel the baby move but this morning I had a dream there was nothing there on the scan. So I have awake since 4am and I am so tired.

I was in a new mothercare today it was beautiful apparently myleene classe was there. I got some cardigans and vest.

I seem to have developed later stage morning sickness and I just can't put meat in my mouth it makes me gag as soon as its near my nose.

I am off to bed now. It's quiet here were is everyone.

Chasing was thinking of you before hope you are ok, is this your last week.

Tootle not far from were I live there is s Mothercare clearance shop maybe you should see if there is one by you. I think it's still there I havn't been in ages, here's to the 17th of August .

chasingtherainbow · 14/07/2015 21:26

What a nasty dream.. you poor thing! I hope you're ok. Tomorrow will be really lovely.. enjoy! Will you ask to know the sex if possible? I can't remember if you said already!

Had the worst last day- my charge had projectile vomiting and it was just a very hectic day but I have survived and am at home! Looking forward to finishing up my contracts (just a few odd days dotted about now) and I'm completely done. Still scared about finances but we'll cope! I'm sure It would have been a case of just getting on with it but I think redundancy was a blessing in disguise. I'm finding this pregnancy quite full on physically and am just pooped!! Here's no more 5.30 starts.

onefootinthebed · 14/07/2015 21:59

No chasing I have been trying to convince my dh for days he just doesn't want to find out, so I will keep guessing till November.

I am so tired this pregnancy too, I was thing today about when to go on mat leave, I could go at 36 weeks but take 2 weeks holidays before hand as I have 4 weeks and 2 days left and havnt booked any time off yet.

chasingtherainbow · 15/07/2015 06:44

If you can afford to/have holiday/especially if it's your 1st my advice is always "go early"! .. i finished at 33 weeks with dd and I still look back on that time fondly, I just think it helped everything. . Feeling rested and relaxed .. labour and being prepared etc.

Had I not been made redundant I would have finished about 33 weeks again. 22 seems utterly rediculous (technically I'd be 25 as redundancy kicks in august but i work term time so I'm off now) x

Bristolian1 · 15/07/2015 06:51

Good luck today onefoot! What a horrible dream. Hope you got some sleep last night x

Chasing I'm thinking of working til 36 weeks - terrible mat benefits in my company! Might try and take some holiday to drop to a four day week for a month before.

Hope yoga is suitably relaxing Tootle I've been thinking about doing some Pilates classes - just need to find time to sign up!

chasingtherainbow · 15/07/2015 06:59

I just went to the loo and spotted blood on the tissue when I stood up. I panicked so much I threw up. Except when I tried to wipe again there was nothing and I was so confused.. until I realised I'd scratched myself on my thigh and was bleeding and I must have brushed the tissue past my thigh before wiping.

Such a silly silly thing but I still feel shaken over it now. My whole world just crushed in a second looking at thst tissue.

Romeolovesjuliet · 15/07/2015 07:19

Oh chasing what a horrible scare, must have really shaken you up. Glad it's nothing to worry about though! bristolian I worked til 37 wks with my first, it was a struggle though as I was massive and going up and down the steps to the tube was a pain. If your commute is ok though keep going as long as you can. I agree with chasing though, that time at home on your own is lovely though and you will never get it again! I only got 10 days in the end as DD made her appearance at 38+3 but it was bliss!

chasingtherainbow · 15/07/2015 08:08

Dd came on her due date... this babe better come early or on time else I'm gonna feel very hard done by Grin

My boy seems to constantly kick very low. Like he's kicking hard enough that if in the right position you could feel or maybe even see on the outside.. but constantly twists downwards (presumably) so he's kicking me like so low and inwards/downwards. . Am I making any sense? Dd always kicked outwards. Also he is ALWAYS tucked in to the left. Like he never seems to move. And it's been like that the whole way through. At first I thought maybe because I ovulated from the left that he'd implanted there so the first two scans I didn't think much of it but he was still very much on the left at 20 wk scan (4 wks ago) and doesn't seem to move?

chasingtherainbow · 15/07/2015 08:10

may be over thinking this after finishing the last season of greys anatomy where there was a 2nd tri birth induced because of a defect

Tootle10 · 15/07/2015 08:41

Aw, chasing, how awful, hope you're feeling better again soon. No advice on the baby's position, I'm afraid, maybe check with the midwife if you're anxious? Sure it's nothing to worry about, he sounds comfy! But never hurts to get some reassurance.

Will have a look for a mothercare clearance. We're not too far from one of those outlet villages, which has got a mamas and papas so will be checking stuff out there too.

I'm probably finishing at 37-38 weeks. Due 10 Jan, so figure I might as well finish just before Christmas. I can carry 15 days holiday over, so hoping to do that and have more days once I come back to work. Very envious of everyone finishing early!

chasingtherainbow · 15/07/2015 16:52

How'd it go today onefoot? X

wispywoo1 · 15/07/2015 18:52

Ahhhh I found you all. Totally lost this thread for a while. I'll be working til about 37 weeks. I get 40 days hol + bank hols + 10 working from home days so I'm v lucky and will take those before I go back. Hope everything is going well. You all need to pop over to the Facebook group. Send me your details if you want to be added.

onefootinthebed · 15/07/2015 19:08

Hi ladies such a busy day.

Chasing hope you are ok I can't imagine, having that though at this late stage.

It was all good, I am so sore though it took about 30 minutes as she had to manipulate the baby to move so she could get the measurements she needed. I would of preferred to off to of gone back on another day.

Then when I asked about my mat b1 form and exception card they said see my doctor, who sent me on a big wild goose chase to get them signed.

Dh is away tonight and wouldn't you know he took the scan pictures with him this morning. My dh didn't want to know the sex so we didn't find out but she I am sure she said earlier on "he is moving around a lot" but can't be sure if she said.

Wouldn't you know that I drank loads of water and when I handed my notes in there was a huge sign saying if you are over 15 weeks you do not need a full bladder, I have been weeing for England today.

Tootle10 · 15/07/2015 19:54

Glad baby's looking well onefoot. My letter for my 20 week scan recommends I drink a pint of water before so must be different in different places Confused I completely overdid the water on my first EPU scan and had to pull over in sainsburys to go the loo on the way to work Blush

Been to yoga this evening, was lovely and did some hip and pelvic floor exercises - got to be useful. And then came home to a letter saying we're low risk on the NT test Smile

I'd like to join the Facebook group wispy - will send my details. Your holiday leave sounds great!

Barbiedoll79 · 15/07/2015 22:10

Glad all went well one foot
Oh chasing how awful so pleased it was a false alarm!

Yay tootle glad it came back low risk, I was going to ask how your yoga class went I have a dvd and think I might give it a go see if it helps me sleep. I am so constipated these last few days, nothing is helping.
