So sorry to read your news tiger. Flowers You take it easy and look after yourself. xxx

BumbleBee0 · 23/07/2015 12:49

tft sorry you're having to wait 2 weeks for another scan! That must seem like forever arrrrrggg! It does sound extremely likely that you're not as far on as your initial dates, particularly given your BFP at 17dpo. Sometimes I think you can get a pos opk but then actual ov can be delayed, and then implantation can also take longer too. Looks like the scan ties up with you being 5-6wks like March says so that sounds positive.

mrsdiddlydoo · 23/07/2015 12:54

tft I think your scan sounds good taking into account when you had your erpc. Will be a long 2 weeks but we're here to hand hold.

Welcome panda! Wishing you an uneventful pregnancy

tiger how heartbreaking. Thinking of you and hope you are being well looked after xx

We're going away for the weekend after work. Hoping it helps keep me occupied. Week until 20 week scan... 19 weeks today Confused feeling hormonal and very crazy!!

Tftpoo · 23/07/2015 13:19

Thank you so much march , bumble and mrs diddly.

A weekend away sounds like a very good idea mrsdiddly, hope it makes the next week feel like it's going a bit quicker.

broodylicious · 23/07/2015 13:37

happy, I'm totally fed up of waiting to pop now! Four days over and it's still looking like nothing is happening any time soon. However, using my calculations way back when I got my bfp, my edd was today so I'm using this thought to get me to remain calm and patient Wink How are you holding up? Xx

Treaclepie19 · 23/07/2015 14:13

Sorry to hear that tiger, look after yourself.

Tft, sending you some hugs to help you through the next few weeks.

Well we're off to Wales on saturday!

Should be good, apart from I'm having a nightmare with uti/thrush or maybe just baby pressing on everything.

Need some time away to take my mind off things. I've got to wait til the 12th August to see the consultant to decide if we're goin for an elcs or vb with epidural.

Gosh, that does sound confusing tft Confused. They don't call it the wtf cycle for nothing eh?!
I'd say if you didn't get bfp til 17dpo then maybe it's a slightly later implantation so could easily be on track still for what was seen. Hand holding for these two weeks, try and keep busy x

driftingclouds · 23/07/2015 15:10

Afternoon ladies, would it be ok for me to join the thread? I got my bfp on Saturday, EDD 29th March so 4+2 today. I had a MC at 8 weeks back in December and we had been trying ever since. I already have two kids (4yrs and 2yrs) so all being well this will be no.3. Trying my best not to freak out and worry about every little thing but somewhat unsuccessfully. Today's concern is that my boobs are less sore and I 'feel' less pregnant. Which I know is ridiculous considering how early on it is. Booked an early scan last night for when I will be just over 9weeks so I just have to wait till then I guess.

tft nice to see you here too. Sorry you've got to wait for a more definite answer but there are positive things about the scan. Fingers crossed for you and I hope these two weeks pass quickly.

Tftpoo · 23/07/2015 16:28

Hi drifting, nice to see you too. I was going to wait a bit before coming over here but I had so many questions and anxieties about early pregnancy after mc. It didn't seem fair to air them on the ttc thread so I popped over here and everyone has been so wonderful, just like they were on the ttc thread.

I know what you mean about analysing every little feeling (or often more worryingly at this stage, non-feeling), worrying that something might be wrong. I guess it's inevitable after mc but it is going to be a long few weeks and months. I'm not sure I'll ever really feel 'safe' in this pregnancy. But do try to relax if you can - easier said than done I know. I think if mc has taught me anything it is that there are some things you can't control, regardless of how hard you try, and that whilst I will always be a bit anxious, I am trying to live more in the moment.

Nousername2015 · 23/07/2015 16:40

For me you've just nailed it right there tft, its tough to not think about what could happen and accept that right now we are pregnant, and we should be grateful for that.

BumbleBee0 · 23/07/2015 17:16

Welcome drifting! Smile x

Boysclothes · 23/07/2015 17:38

Well it's been a mix of emotions the last two days for me.... CB Digi showed 3+ which I was thrilled about as my last two losses my HCG never got above 150. Then feeling actually super blasé about the whole thing today... Of course I wiped and got a small streak/thread of red mucusy blood, and a bit of pale brown when I've been wiping since. Of course I'm waiting now for the flood gates to (literally) open. Hospital can't bring my scan forward from Tuesday unless I go via A+E, so I'm going to another hospitals walk in EPU tomorrow. I'll be 5+6 by my ov dates so no idea what they'll see.

BumbleBee0 · 23/07/2015 18:00

Sorry you've had a scare boysclothes. It sounds like the small bleed you had isn't fresh anymore and hopefully the brown blood could be the last bit of it. Hope that's the case. Tuesday is still a bit of a wait so hopefully they'll scan you tomorrow. X

BumbleBee0 · 23/07/2015 18:01

I think at your dates they may expect to see the yolk sac and maybe fetal pole (?) but I could be wrong. I think it's too early to expect to see the hb yet as I think this is usually 6-7 wks.

Flen · 23/07/2015 19:14

Hi all, is it ok if I join you? There are some familiar names here... I am currently approx 7+3, and this is my fourth pregnancy with three previous miscarriages. I had a bleed last week with spotting on and off since, although a scan on Tues showed things looking normal so far. My GP has recommended bed rest, which I totally agree with but which is also driving me mad, time has completely slowed down with no way of distraction! I'm also really quite sick, so feeling sorry for myself then feeling guilty because of course I am also so so happy to be pregnant. It's all just such a worry!

Tftpoo · 23/07/2015 19:48

Sorry to hear you've had a bleed boys. I know how much even the tiniest speck of red makes you worry.

I had a scan today, I think I am between 5 and 6 weeks and they could see a gestational sac and a yolk sac but no fetal pole. The sonographer said that was fine for dates, they wouldn't expect to see more until around 7 weeks. So I don't want to worry you but you may not get a lot of reassurance if you're scanned before 6 weeks. All I know from this morning is that today I am pregnant (but I kind of knew that from pg tests).

I have everything crossed for you, I really hope it goes well for you tomorrow.

Hello flen. Sorry to hear of your previous losses. I really hope the rest of this pregnancy is uneventful for you. So many conflicting emotions at the moment!

Boysclothes · 23/07/2015 20:10

I just want to rule out an ectopic. With DS I had a haematoma which bled thru the whole first trimester. If they see another one I will feel a little reassured, although it's all just nonsense at this stage. What will be will be. I have very light periods, I seem to bleed more when pregnant than when not!

boys I had a scan at 6 weeks and they did manage to see a foetal pole, but I think it can really depend.

Glad your scan went well tft.

Marchgirl · 23/07/2015 21:00

Nice to see you over here flen Grin

Welcome drifting, hope you have a long and uneventful pregnancy.

Sorry to hear you've had some spotting boys. Hope it settles down soon

Thank you for the welcome Smile and hello to the other newcomers! It's nice to know there are others going through a similar experience.

boys sorry about the spotting. I hope it has completely settled down for you now. I'm not sure what scans can show at this point. Early pregnancy is so hard, I hope you get some good news tomorrow.

envious how exciting for you being near the end! I'm sure it will all come together but yes that sounds like quite a lot to do!

I'm determined to (try to) be positive! I rang up and booked my midwife appointment today-it's not for ages as will be when I am 10weeks exactly! Just going to take it a day at a time and enjoy being pregnant for now.

Littlelady33 · 24/07/2015 07:08

Will catch up with threads when my brain is working - will it ever work again?! - but in the meantime just to say that Nicholas James arrived at 4am yesterday 3,5KG of loveliness making a 30 hour induced painful labour and rush to theatre all worthwhile! Can't say birth was a dream but we're both recovering just fine and so far he is sleeping and eating wonderfully! X

BumbleBee0 · 24/07/2015 07:27

Congratulations lady and welcome baby Nicholas!! Grin xxx

Treaclepie19 · 24/07/2015 07:53

Congratulations little :) Glad you're both well xxx
