Anyone else on the final countdown?

I'm 38+2, if the baby hasn't made an appearance by next weekend I'm being induced.

DH is convinced the baby is going to come early and every time I have a tummy cramp he is practically one foot out of the front door with the hospital bag!

I think I'm going to be phenomenally bored over the next two weeks as I am having quite strong pelvic pains so walking and moving about is really quite painful.

Anyone else on the final countdown?

I'm 37 weeks today with my first baby. I've bought most of the stuff now, just need to put it all away and finish washing the clothes and blankets. I also MUST pack my hospital bag, I've got all the stuff for it, but need now to pack it! Oh and I have to get the base of the car seat put in, so will be driving to mamas and papas or kiddicare this week to get that done. After that I'd like to give the house a good clean and tidy to make life that bit easier when I'm out of hospital. I'm a single mum to be, so I don't have any help, but I'm getting there albeit very slowly. Today was a complete write off - got up early to take car to garage to fix a leek and ended up sleeping most of the day when I got home. I'd bathed the dog, done some washing and cleaned the bathroom the day before and it had completely wiped me out!

Oh, I did order some things online - a baby sling from Mothercare and also some baby blankets from Tesco Direct, they're a lot cheaper than at places like Mothercare, just hope they're reasonable quality.

Could do with another week or two before baby appears, although physically she can't come soon enough! x
