That's right! I just remember getting a ratio, they didn't give us the measurement.

Ok I'll start a list

Lilliana 35, 1DD 2.5, 1mc, due mid Jan.

Too much info? Missed anything? Thought due date might work as where we are will keep changing!

PooSweats84 · 18/05/2015 19:59

chasing that's a bloomin excellent result, anything above 1 in 150 is considered high risk and they'd offer more invasive testing (amnio/cvs). Looks like you've got nothing to worry about! So pleased for you!

PooSweats84 · 18/05/2015 20:03

My combined risk in 1 in 211 and the ante-natal team are not in the slightest bit bothered at that result, but mine is automatically higher because I already have a son with Downs. His nuchal measurement at my 12 week scan was 9mm! They didn't offer the combined test back then (2006) so was automatically sent for CVS at Kings which confirmed it. This new blood test is great but it's not very well explained is it?!

chasingtherainbow · 18/05/2015 20:11

Sweats thanks! I was just staring at the number like. . Eh? It's such an odd, specific number!

Bristolian1 · 18/05/2015 20:25

Great news onefoot and chasing Grin

9+3 here and time is going so slow! Next EPU scan is next week, haven't got the date for my dating scan yet.

Gr33dyeggs · 18/05/2015 21:21

Welcome to the newbies Smile.
We don't have a stats list here - initially it was an in between thread for the ttc after mc and the pregnant after mc threads www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/2371607-Another-posifrickintive-thread-for-those-pregnant-after-miscarriage-4 or an antenatal club but it has really taken off! So feel free to do a list.

keys I'm so sorry things dont seem to be ending Flowers

Great news on the scan onefoot

How's everyone doing today? I'm working from home which is not good for my Googling habit! Have also taken my test from Sunday out of the drawer and stared at it half a dozen time! Doesn't feel real!

gennibugs · 19/05/2015 13:57

Hello all.

Work is manic so has been infringing on my MN time! Grin

Hello to the newbies. Smile

keys thinking of you.

14+6 here and still feeling sick - will it ever go away? I'm feeling strangely in limbo, the high from the 12 week scan has worn off and now feel like I'm counting down to the next appointment!

Lilliana · 19/05/2015 14:48

Sickness should pass soon genni surely. Hope it does for you. At least it's a good sign pg is going well.

melon I've taken loads of tests and still doesn't feel real. Sorry not to Google - read MN insteadGrin

I'm so so tired and DD who has always been a great napper has decided she's not wanting a nap the last few days - just when I really need her to! Been a bit snappy with her so feeling crap about that too.

Amyyy27 · 19/05/2015 17:49

genni sorry you're still feeling ill too :( I know what you mean about limbo I'm feeling the same! Although we have a private scan booked for 3 weeks on Saturday so thankfully don't have too much longer to wait. I'm not even thinking about the gender I'm just desperate to know the baby is ok!

I don't know if it's my hormones or what but I'm raging over another MN-ers comment on a post. The poor girl had a little bleeding. Myself and at least 1 other said she should get checked out for any bleed, could be normal could be something. And someone commented saying basically it's abusing the system to go and get checked out for something that means nothing!! If you wanna have a look I think the thread is something like need help- TMI . Furious. My mmc started with a streak of dark brown. I would hate to think stupid comments like that would make people feel too guilty to checked out when there could be a problem! AIBU?

MelonMelon · 19/05/2015 18:07

amy no you're not. the only symptom of my miscarriage was a tiny amount of brown discharge. I get so angry when I read people saying "brown blood is old blood" and telling women to ignore it, you should always get it checked out.

Amyyy27 · 19/05/2015 18:20

Thanks melon that's exactly right!

PooSweats84 · 19/05/2015 18:25

Amy I've been reading this thread and was equally annoyed at that poster! My mc started with a single spot of pink that turned brown and it went on from there, around the 6 week mark too, some people are so blissfully ignorant, it must be lovely for them!!

Amyyy27 · 19/05/2015 18:30

sweats mine was at 6 weeks too! Then again at 10. So annoying. I don't know where this idea has came from that checking you and baby are ok is abusing the system but it's dangerous and clearly doesn't come from people who have had to suffer a miscarriage.

And breathe!! Lol I've got such a short fuse today Blush

Lilliana · 19/05/2015 18:33

Glad you said she should be checked Amy - mine started with 2 days of brown spotting too. Some people must be so blissfully unaware.

Bristolian1 · 19/05/2015 18:37

Agree! My mmc were both picked up after very small amounts of pink spotting too. Must be lovely not to worry about stuff like that in pregnancy! Or just not to be a nervous wreck like all the time!!

Amyyy27 · 19/05/2015 18:39

Oh it must be mustn't it! I wish I could remember how it felt not to worry!

PooSweats84 · 19/05/2015 18:52

It just doesn't stop either. I thought I'd be fine after the 12 week scan, but that's 3 weeks behind me now and still knicker checking grrr! I'm on a short fuse today, have been on a downer since my narc mother found out and got in touch all happy and smiley on Sunday, and I told her I had an appointment with the consultant yesterday and not heard a thing from her, can't believe I've been sucked in again, I was doing perfectly fine without her! I've now got all this pent up frustration that needs to be vented at her, but there's no point, I always come off worse!

Bristolian1 · 19/05/2015 20:50

Oh Poo that sounds really hard. Hope you're ok

gennibugs · 19/05/2015 20:52

I've just posted on that thread. I've also noticed the same poster has posted on another thread called how far along or something giving the same advice. Really annoyed me. I had a small amount of bleeding at 6 weeks in both pregnancies, one ended in MC the other is fx progressing ok. It's irresponsible to suggest that bleeding is always normal. Silly woman.

Amyyy27 · 19/05/2015 21:27

Ahh sweats how frustrating :( you just concentrate on yourself and your baby x

genni that's so annoying to know she's telling other the same stupid thing. Gah!!

onefootinthebed · 19/05/2015 22:36

Oh ladies I have had an odd day with my symptoms for the first half of the day my left boob was sore then my right boob then my left now my right. Bloody annoying.

PooSweats84 · 19/05/2015 22:42

I woke up with a sore right boob today, went away after a few hours but lately they've grown a fair bit and feel like they want to burst sometimes! I need to get new bras at the weekend, my normal ones are so uncomfortable now!

onefootinthebed · 19/05/2015 22:51

I was thinking the other day my boobs will stop hurting soon, then I read about week 16 your boobs start making milk grow and may become tender...... Oh poo I want to cut them off.
