Cannabis whilst pregnant!

As if I have just been to the shops for some late night snacks (feeling ravenous) and there is a lady outside the shop with a man, she is quite heavily pregnant and clearly smoking a joint of cannabis! Im really angry! To think of the people who miscarry or cannot concieve! I feel sick to my stomach, rotten!

lauren no obviously glass doesn't grow in buds. But weed does get sprayed with it. Exactly how I'm not sure but it does.

Like I said it's mostly to add on weight but it also gives a nice sparkly appearance which mimics the appearance of either TCH or the other one (I forget the name) which makes people think they will get 'more high'

It will be the growers that do this before they sell it on. not the dealers who sell £10/20 bags at a time.

What do people need to know about a pregnant woman and what's gone on in her life that can justify her brazenly smoking weed in public?

I honestly can't think of any excuse that would stop me judging someone like this.

It really sounds as though you are hanging around with the wrong people to be up on that high horse.

I don't hang around with anyone of the sort, sounds like you do but are in denial of what they are selling you!

I agree Deb i have been through some pretty shit things and know of others who have been through a hell of a lot worse. Drugs have never crossed my mind. I wonder where people get the idea that drugs are the answer.

Yawn, there will always be some who try and justify that smoking illegal drugs whilst pregnant is fine as the woman has 'problems' or that it's not harmful.

We know it is, still her choice, personally I think she is a dick, but would I report her? No.

It might happen but my guess is it probably doesn't. Besides I think it would take more than the heat of a lighter to burn glass.... Many ashtrays are made of it.

Me too I have been through hell and back but I see my baby as a blessing and a fresh start, something to focus on, shame other people put their own selfish needs first whether it be alcohol or illegal drugs

Amyyy drugs aren't the answer, nor is alcohol, nor is self harming etc etc. Some people just need something to get them through the next day.

Maybe the circumstances of the pregnancy is an issue, there are a lot of maybes here, maybe people should stop being so judgemental and concentrate on their own lives.

My growing baby gets me through the day. The thought of my lost baby as much as it hurts i remember the love i felt and still feel and i know what is more important.

WindMeUp.. I think that is a very valid point. Not everyone gets pregnant in happy circumstances or enjoys being pregnant.

Like I've said before it's totally unfair to judge strangers on the Internet and post about them online so everyone can have a pop. It's actually very cruel.

Drugs aren't only taken as 'an answer' to problems. This isn't the 1950's!! They are usually enjoyable to take hence why lots and lots of people do. And most are fine and live to tell the tale. And there's a hell of a lot of difference between someone smoking a joint and being a meth addict.

DISCLAIMER I am not talking about or advocating their use in pregnancy any more or less than I advocate smoking or drinking to excess

I'm in hysterics about people making weed weigh more by 'sandblasting' it with GROUND GLASS. If they want to make it weigh more, they just don't let it dry out fully meaning it weighs more.

Cannabis doesn't kill people. It's not heroin. The dealers are usually normal people like all of us who just want extra money. They are not the devil and most never move on to selling the hard stuff and lacing with x y and z. if you buy it wet and have been ripped off, you don't go back.

However the sight of people jumping onto this thread to talk about how much better they are than someone else is also making me feel sad.

What's the point? Apart from pointing out how we're all great people by comparison? And that that's all down to our superior morality, choices and judgement?

Oh, and I've had 4 MCs by the way, and I don't do drugs, smoke or drink. Before someone claims that any of those apply as well.

Is there something wrong with agreeing with a drug proven to have medical benefits and be less harmful than alcohol? I don't agree with it during pregnancy but nor do I agree with alcohol during pregnancy but it's not up to me to tell others what they can and can't do with their bodies.

Whatever people agree with is irrelevant, judging someone you don't know from Adam, then posting all over the Internet isn't right.

Maybe the boyfriend beats her and she has no escape, maybe you got it totally wrong and maybe she does just like a smoke. Like I said, a lot of maybes.
