Congrats we've made it this far

My worry at 5 weeks is I just feel apathetic and numb. Not excited, not looking forward. Not even fear. Just.... nothing. Constant knicker watch.

Plus wondering whether to push for an early scan and if so when? Losses were 9 and 11 weeks.

I've just found out my mum can't have ds Tuesday so I'm going to have to go to the scan on my own . Its too early to ask friends or neighbours.

Aww greedy! Can you not make up a porky for someone else to have him? Like say a dentist appointment?

How stressful gr33dy. I was going to have to go on my own to but DH came in the end with dd and she was looking at a book during the scan so she wasn't paying attention.
She was there when I had the bad scan which showed mmc and I don't think she was too scarred by it.
Hope you get something sorted.

Ladies I've got something embarrassing to ask, I'm a bit worried. I got up this morning and since I've been having a few cramps I put my finger in 'there' to check for blood and it feels different! Like the wall is extended and bumpy on my front side iyswim? I'm going to ask dh to check later (since he's in there more than I am!) But I feel worried :-( any thoughts? Sorry for tmi but I know you're all the best to ask.

epskie, no idea but never heard it's anything to worry about. You're pregnant so it makes sense that things would feel different. Your cervix will be in a different position, you'll be developing a mucus plug etc.
Probably best not to keep sticking your fingers up there though!

There's a reason midwives and doctors don't routinely do internal exams through pregnancy- because they're totally unnecessary and don't actually tell you anything!

Epskie it can't possibly be more embarrassing than when I thought I smelt like fish which actually turned out to be my sense of smell going a bit nuts lol.

I honestly can't tell you anything but I'd say the others are right, it all goes a bit weird down there during pregnancy.

So sick of feeling sick. I'm barely functioning and I'm miserable.

Sickness really bad guy?

My symptoms are much stronger in this pregnancy than my miscarriages (without wanting to alarm anyone) do you think it's a good sign? Seriously I'm scared of anyone coming to close to me incase someone walks into me.,I can smell things that haven't appeared yet for example someone was offering mini pork pies out and I instantly said no they have pickle in them,I was then asked how I knew as there was no packet on the plate. I completely forgot about the smell thing and someone asked if I was pregnant.i I obvs said don't be daft and my boss then said don't be so insensitive you know what's she has been through.those who didn't then asked. I don't know what my post is about really my shitty boss or my sore boobs of that horrid smell issue.also some in the office wears that bloody fantasy britanny perfume and I can smell it before she opens the door and it gets stuck in my nose.i sit 6 desks away from her.

Sorry for moaning and spoiling a Easter Sunday to lighten the mood my boobs are cracking me up and my sence of smell has egg ceeded it's self latly.??

If my pregnancies are anything to go by, I'd say it's a good sign. I didn't have many symptoms with mc- just mild nausea. But with this and with dd, nausea is barely manageable, wolf smell makes going near my DH unbearable and I'm just miserable and am eating a completely beige diet.
But everyone is different and all pregnancies are different!

Guy I didn't know it was called wolf smell,but thanks I really believe this time is different for some reason I feel different.

It seems like we have a variety of symptom levels but that was the same in my Nov 12 pregnancy group and wasn't an indicator of success. I am definitely on the low-symptom side which is giving me some worries but I do have tiredness and breast ache to keeping me going.

I don't think wolf smell is an official name! Just my word for it...

Got a BBP a week ago I think I am around 6 weeks 5 days. Going for a scan tomorrow as I have had two miscarriages and two beautiful girls. I have symptoms sore boobies, feel sick and horrible taste in my mouth not to mention the extreme tiredness.

Be lovely to come on the journey with you all.

I would love to have a natural birth Ive had 2 c sections. Have not been to doctors yet so midwives not been informed just been em doc as was easter weekend and booked me for a scan tomorrow due to my history of premature births.
