So heres a thread. Hope you all find it!

Congrats we've made it this far Wine

My worry at 5 weeks is I just feel apathetic and numb. Not excited, not looking forward. Not even fear. Just.... nothing. Constant knicker watch.

Plus wondering whether to push for an early scan and if so when? Losses were 9 and 11 weeks.

Just read this on Ovia:

'Some women may need extra support in order to deal with the incontinence - tampons are a definite no-go when pregnant, but pads or panty liners may help you.'

Surely tampons are always a no-go for incontinence due to the urethra and the vagina being two entirely separate places?!!!!

Fucking Ovia is such a pile of poo.

Gr33dyeggs · 31/03/2015 17:42

I've got stomach ache. 9+6. Probably around here it went wrong in November. Trying to reassure myself that its my upset tum or growing pains but I'm not really succeeding. I'm quite stressed at work which doesn't help.
On the plus side my swab came back normal but I'm worrying which dr checked it because BV is 'normal' flora just in excess and not always treated.
I just want to curl up and sleep until I get a scan.
Sorry for the moany me post.

I think someone must of read my post as just after I got into work my phone rang and it was the clinic with a date for my scan. Phew I feel better now .

MsJupiter · 31/03/2015 22:46

I'm here. Sorry Gr33dy I know the feeling of wanting to curl up and hide until the scan. Plus I know you must be worried about the possibility of infection after last time. I am sure the odds must be tiny but that has no effect on worry as we all know. Don't ever worry about moaning though. We are all here together.

Had a nice day with DS but DH didn't get a job he applied for so we have had a sombre evening (improved with pizza - and beer for DH). Feel very un pregnant but maybe I'm just distracted.

Amyyy27 · 01/04/2015 06:52

Morning!

Sorry i was poorly yesterday so stayed off phone and rested.

greedy good news about the swab but maybe ring them and ask to discuss the results with a doctor?

onefoot pleased you have a scan booked! When is it?

MsJ sorry DH didnt get the job, hopefully something else will come up for him.

Still geel like shit today but going to head into work and hope for the best!

epskie · 01/04/2015 07:13

Hi ladies, can I join please and extremely tentatively mark my spot? I've just had a bfp with a frer at 14dpo. Terrified, elated but terrified. Must be the lucky sticks chasing! Smile

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 01/04/2015 07:23

epskie I'm so pleased for you! Must have been your first month?

epskie · 01/04/2015 07:28

Thanks guy Smile my first month of trying, yeah. My actual miscarriage started on 21st December but it was a very long, drawn out process so I'm not actually sure if I was in my wtf cycle or not!
Just been catching up, you've got two in there? Wow! Smile you getting used to the idea?

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 01/04/2015 07:37

No. I'm in full panic mode and struggling really.

Amyyy27 · 01/04/2015 07:41

OMGGGGGGGGG EPSKIEEEEEEE !!!!!

Yay!!!

I'm here and I'm reading. . My Internet is sporadic here in Mousehole so a few times my post refused to post.

X

Amyyy27 · 01/04/2015 08:21

I have epskie but it serves me right! Between 4 and 6 weeks i had barely any symptoms pretty much just tired so i was desperate for MS and bang on 6 weeks it started and has just got progressively worse :(

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 01/04/2015 09:10

Maybe you're having two babies as well Amyy...

Amyyy27 · 01/04/2015 09:31

guy we have twins in the family and my mam seems to think twins skip a generation and would be due for me! The thought has crossed my mind!

mrsthoree3009 · 01/04/2015 11:57

Well I had my scan. Good and bad news....
Good news is there is a heartbeat and baby is fine.
Bad news is they think im only around 9w...so means another 26days of worrying if il miscarry :(
Cant help but be upset :(

gennibugs · 01/04/2015 12:11

congratulations epskie!!

mrsthor I'm sorry you are feeling unsettled. Did you think you were further along? A heartbeat is good news though.

guy hope you are bearing up ok after your shock. must be so much to think about.

chasing I love Mousehole. One of my favourite places in the whole world.

I've been keeping a low profile as I'm feeling so unbelievably sick. haven't been sick too much but just the nausea ugh. I'm toying with having another early scan but DH is reluctant so he's put me in doubt now. Sad

Amyyy27 · 01/04/2015 12:15

mrst so pleased you saw a heartbeat! Sorry it wasnt so reassuring for you. Are they giving you another scan? X

mrsthoree3009 · 01/04/2015 12:19

According to my dates I should be exactly 12w today. Yes next scan is on 27th.

Gr33dyeggs · 01/04/2015 12:28

Welcome epskie! Congrats Smile

Well I called the drs (late) but luckily spoke to the nice receptionist who said she will get someone to call me this afternoon. I feel a bit of a fraud but hearing of all these places you self refer I don't think I'm being unreasonable. Plus I'm working all weekend with no one who can cover so reassurance if available. And if worse case scenario then it wouldn't be over the 4 day weekend. I hate weekends. The hospital just shuts down.

amyyy it might be worth seeing your gp if you can't keep anything down. Perhaps its hg?

fromwesttoeast · 01/04/2015 13:02

Amyy, don't know if this would help but anything is worth a try... When I was pregnant (with twins) I had very bad sickness and struggled to keep anything down unless I ate very slowly, lying down on the sofa. Just one mouthful at a time, but at least it stayed in.
Of course this meant I ate almost nothing all day at work as I couldn't face throwing up there.
One day I felt a bit better and decided to cook a really nice meal and sit at the table with my DH. Obviously the whole meal ended up down the toilet, so I went back to lying down again.
