Just moaning really. I'm fed up of being pregnant now!

I had to wake DP up at 2am to help me get out of bed so I could go to the toilet. My thighs and joints feel bruised and like my muscles are splitting.. midwife says its because my body has done this before so it isn't as stretchy. Well I don't like it!

And if I wake up one more time with heartburn and acid reflux so bad I think I'm choking.. grr Angry

This baby is so worth it, but I'm so tired and sore, and the thought of going overdue is making me miserable!

Anyone else want a moan?!

I still have constant cramping in thighs, bottom & lower back plus lots of braxton hicks. definitely going right way as babys head has dropped which doesn't usually happen with other pregnancies till almost time, it hasn't in past with me. midwives today were full of silly comments, wow you are all baby! after feeling my bump, I knew that then said he us right under your ribs, bet that is painful. No shit! I'm thinking this will be my largest baby yet.

cosmicglittergirl · 04/03/2015 10:04

Hi all, baby finally arrived on Monday after starting my induction on the Friday. Two failed pessaries, an epidural, breaking of membranes and four hour labour later baby girl 2 arrived at 9lbs. I'm delighted and despite the looong build up (mainly due to a busy hospital) it all worked out ok in the end.
Good luck everyone!

Congratulations babiescakes and cosmic ! Such wonderful news . Hope you are both doing well and enjoying your previous babies.
I was at the hospital yesterday as I thought my waters were leaking , turned out to be watery discharge (nice ) sorry tmi.
Due date today and no signs during the night. Just woken up craving hot chocolate for some bizarre reason .....

Sycamore76 · 05/03/2015 07:20

Sorry precious babies , pesky phone !

shelley1977 · 05/03/2015 11:14

yougotafastcar · 05/03/2015 11:41

Congratulations babie hope you are doing well Flowers

sycamore oh no, tomorrow you will be overdue! Hope you get some signs today.

Any more signs for you shelley?

I have to see the consultant later - dreading it! To achy to get the bus to hospital with DS and I'm looking at a couple of hours waiting apparently. And they wonder why my blood pressure is always higher at the hospital appointments!

Ahh poor you Fastcar . That sounds very stressful. It's a shame you don't have anyone to help you out . Hope you are not waiting that long. Good luck.

I keep getting period type pains that have been on and off for over a week now , that's all. Hope she comes soon, it's agony walking and trying to sleep at night .

Sycamore76 · 05/03/2015 12:42

How are you feeling Shelley ?

theonewiththenoisychild · 05/03/2015 12:49

its the same for me too fastcar the consulant clinic is always busy and always says on the board when i go in 60-120 min wait. last time i was lucky there was nothing on the board one of the busiest clinics i had seen but i was called in fairly quickly after my scan. back at the hospital 18th for pre op in the antenatal clinic. probably another very long wait but will be my last apart from the day of my operation not sure how long i will need to wait then

yougotafastcar · 05/03/2015 14:59

Luckily DP finishes work not long after my appointment time so he'll come and pick DS up from the hospital. I feel nervous about the appointment today, but not sure why as I haven't been nervous about any others.

Are you booked in for a sweep or anything sycamore? How long will they let you go over?

It is frustrating waiting isn't it theone, but of course I know they aren't doing it on purpose! Hope everything goes well for you on the 18th Smile

Fastcar , pleased to hear your DP can pick your son up , at least now you can have a cup of tea and relax during the wait.

I have a midwife app on Tuesday so I guess I will be offered a sweep then . I just hope it doesn't trigger abnormal bleeding again .

Hope your app goes well xx

cosmicglittergirl · 06/03/2015 10:14

Congratulations babie hope you're feeling well.
Hope everyone else is hanging in there! At least it can't be much longer .

shelley1977 · 06/03/2015 11:26

Things really seemed to be going in right direction last night then slowed again, everything going in right direction just could do with it moving a bit faster Smile

yougotafastcar · 06/03/2015 11:34

How is your new baby cosmic?

I've been at hospital this morning for reduced movement since yesterday. Sounds silly but something just didn't feel right. Anyway, turns out I was wrong & she is, thank god, fine. But because this is my second period of reduced movement (first was very early though!) I had to see a doctor too, who offered a sweep and has requested a urgent scan in the next few days just to be on the safe side. Sweep was uncomfortable but just had a bit of a show. Hopefully will get things moving!

Fingers crossed for everyone else too

Good luck fast car . Sounds like the sweep was successful! Keep updating.

I am becoming obsessed with signs of labour spotting ! Driving me mad . I was convinced she would come early and now I am overdue . Just want to meet my baby now. :-)

yougotafastcar · 06/03/2015 16:19

I decided it wasn't really a show, just a bit of bloody discharge (sorry tmi!)

Have come over very teary & tired & can feel pressure in my bum, so I don't know if she is moving down.

I know the feeling about labour spotting! Feels like such a long wait still, but you will have your baby in two weeks at the most so its really very soon!

cosmicglittergirl · 06/03/2015 16:23

She's really well thank you yougo.
So pleased everything was ok and good luck with that sweep.

It's all been really restful and lovely, I'm enjoying it more this time as I'm not so floored as I was first time and my DD1 (exciting to write that for the first time!) is adapting really well so far.

Sycamore76 · 08/03/2015 04:58

Hi all,
How is everyone ?
Our beautiful baby girl was born yesterday at 2059pm.
Contractions started at 230pm but very irregular. By 7pm very intense and about 6 mins apart. I really don't know how I did my sons bathtime/bedtime and Sod's law he was very naughty ( the worst he has ever been ) got to the hospital at 8pm , severely in pain abd found out I was 7 cm , felt amazing at tuis news ! Didn't even have time to run pool, an hour later with paracetamol and gas and air ( screaming for epidural :-) ) she was born! Currently fast asleep Grin

yougotafastcar · 08/03/2015 09:17

Congratulations Sycamore! I hope my birth is as quick as that Smile

I'm still waiting, no signs Sad

OP posts:
Sycamore76 · 08/03/2015 13:19

I am sure you won't be waiting long ! I didn't have any signs and then contractions came on all of a sudden.

Dh just came in with ds so ds could meet his sister , he seemed ok but gave me the cold shoulder , wouldn't give me a cuddle !! Made me feel so sad :-(

yougotafastcar · 08/03/2015 15:23

Oh no, hopefully he will come round soon! Just takes some getting used to I guess, that's something I'm worried about too. Bet he seems massive compared to baby now though!
